I think we know by now that Robert Pattinson is in that “can’t keep our hands off of each other” loved-up phase with FKA Twigs. He’s been following her around Europe and America like a puppy and it is, in a word, ADORABLE. I like seeing Sparkles so enamored with a lady who actually seems to reciprocate, who seems to be happy in their relationship. A lady who is not Mini-Coopering random married men in parking lots and hiking trails.

I also think FKA Twigs is the reason Sparkles is trying to mix it up a little bit with his “look.” These are photos of Sparkles at the GO Campaign’s 7th Annual Go Go Gala in Beverley Hills yesterday. Robert debuted his new hairstyle! He actually got his haircut about a week or so ago, but he’s been doing a good job of keeping it wrapped up. So this was the big debut! An undercut with some kind of hipster “soul patch” or “faux rat tail” in back. You can see a better photo of his rat tail/patch here at the Mail.

Minus the faux rat tail, one of my first “boyfriends” had basically the same haircut. It was the ‘90s and skaters were big. It was important for a guy to have this kind of shaved undercut, with long, floppy hair on top. There were bonus points if the floppy top hair had asymmetry. Anyway… I hope this is just a phase, because Sparkles looks sort of ridiculous. He doesn’t know he looks stupid though, because he’s in The Love Haze. FKA Twigs probably told him that his hair looked amazing. And he believed her! Which is sweet.

PS… His eyebrows are looking kind of crazy, right? Twigs might want to tweeze him a little bit.
