There’s a story that is said to have originated in a British paper that Brad and Angelina were fighting out at a bar at Cannes after the Mighty Heart premiere. Someone was supposedly privy to their conversation and said they overheard Angelina telling Brad they should get a place in Monte Carlo. This was said to have pissed him off, and he told her that he wanted to stay in the states for a while. Then he left her there and went home.

An insider who reported to have seen and heard the couple after the premiere of A Mighty Heart told dailysnack.com, “After a low key dinner with Jolie’s co-stars, she and Pitt retired to the tranquil Le Bellini Bar area, by the entrance of the Hotel Du Cap. But after only five minutes or so, the atmosphere between them seemed to change. Jolie explained to Pitt she thought they should buy a house in Monte Carlo, but he was not at all happy about it. He said he was ‘tired’ of all this jet setting around and just wants some time to stay in the States. As soon as he had made his point, he headed off to bed and left her alone before she got chatting to a couple of producers. It all seemed a tad uncomfortable to say the least.”

It could be true that someone saw them talking, and then Brad left, but maybe he went home to see to the kids or something. I’m not really buying the story that there was a person who overheard the entire conversation and that some random British paper is reporting it. The source is dailysnack.com supposedly, but I could not find this story on the dailysnack website, which is part of the Daily Star, not the most reputable source, and have to rely on this secondhand account.

Someones making up a story. They honestly don’t look happy to me in the pictures at the Oceans 13 premiere though, but there might be tension due to all the pressure that’s on them when they go to these things. Here are two pictures from the departures from the Oceans 13 premiere. There’s also a picture from the arrivals with Brad laughing with his costars Matt Damon and George Clooney. That’s the only time I noticed him genuinely smiling in all the pictures I’ve seen of the premiere. Damon and Clooney were having a good old time and were seen laughing it up in other pictures.

I am not saying that Brad and Angelina are having trouble, in fact I don’t believe this story. It’s just that they do need to work on looking laid back and happy at these events. Maybe they’re trying to look cool, though. I have no idea what the protocol is for red carpet demeanor. As a fan I just like to see the stars happily smiling and looking well coiffed.
