Another year, another holiday trip to Cabo San Lucas with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. I almost feel sorry for Amal Alamuddin-Clooney! She’s getting the same deal all of George Clooney’s girlfriends got. She has to spend time with Cindy, Rande and their kids during every single vacation! This is your life now, Amal. I bet Cindy is probably a bit happier to make conversation with Amal as opposed to the steady stream of waitresses, hostesses and wrestlers that came before.

I’m sorry these photos are such poor quality, but that’s usually the case with Cabo photos. I think the paparazzi must be very, very far away. You can see Amal and George sitting far apart at a picnic table with Cindy, Rande and their kids. Amal is the one in the acid-green beach cover-up. Her hair is looking… not great. Well, not blowout perfect, let’s say that. George seems aware of the cameras, and like he’s trying not to give them a good shot.

George and Amal were in LA for several weeks in the lead-up to his Cabo holiday. Apparently, she really can just take unlimited time off from work, I guess. My hope is that this Cabo holiday continues through the first week and a half of the new year, then George and Amal return to LA and attend the Golden Globes together. We’re not going to have any Brangelina on the Globes red carpet, so Amal and George need to BRING IT. And by “it” I mean hair tossing and jewelry and that hungry look Amal gets when she sees a bank of cameras. Maybe we’ll get a baby bump too, wouldn’t that be exciting?

I am a bit worried that Amal won’t even attend the Globes though – she’s signed on as one of lawyers representing Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights. She’s due in court on January 28. Surely she can attend the Globes AND prepare for the case?

PS… There’s a big sign for “Casamigos Tequila” in the background of these photos, plus the barrels are stamped ‘Casamigos’. This whole Amal thing is just an ad campaign for his tequila.
