Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart outside and inside of a screening for Still Alice in NYC last night. She was out and about in New York all day yesterday promoting the film with Julianne Moore and Kate Bosworth. Julianne is pretty much the frontrunner in the Best Actress race and – just my opinion – Julianne can and should be doing the bulk of the promotional work. But Julianne is a generous person and she probably enjoys having the younger girls around. Kristen’s dress last night (which you can see in greater detail below) was Roksanda’s Ellsworth dress. K-Stew and her see-through dresses… I’m over it. But I appreciate that she pulled together a real red carpet look. I wouldn’t mind seeing her at the Oscars this year… as a presenter.
Kristen and Julianne sat down for a HuffPo interview – you can see the video here (it’s autoplay). Kristen was asked about her recent remarks about taking some time off from Hollywood to just live in her LA loft and work on her art projects. Kristen said that those stories were spun by the tabloids to make it sound like she was quitting Hollywood. Her thoughts on the tabs: “There is like, you know, a whole other form of entertainment that is just voraciously consumed. It’s funny, you know, you do an interview and someone says, ‘Oh you’ve been working a lot? What are you planning on doing now?’ And you say, ‘Uh, I’m just going to take a second and like do something other than that,’ and then ‘Kristen Stewart Quits Hollywood!’ I basically have started a self-led middle school art class in my garage and it’s so cool. It feels so good!” She says people should take the tabloids with a “whole big boulder of salt.” Huh. So then we shouldn’t believe the evidence we have that Kristen is with Alicia?

Thanks for the name. I knew she looked like someone else, but I couldn’t remember who. My question is was she forced to work this event? Her facial expression looks like she’s attending a family reunion that she dreads, but it was at the behest of her ailing grandma so she couldn’t say no, but she’s gonna sit in the corner and try not to get noticed so she doesn’t have to force small talk. Elaborate scenario, I know. Haha.

Julianne Moore is just stunning, and I agree she’s been bringing it with the fashion lately.
She is breathtaking in that white gown.

But I also think that Moore is one of those women who just gets more attractive with every year, sort of like a Julia Louis Dreyfus.
She is just super gorgeous and talented. I actually think she has gotten sexier as she has aged into her 40’s. I so hope she wins the Oscar this year- it still kills me she hasn’t won before.
I also think K Stew looks nice here as well- clean, well put together, great shoes.
I think Kate Bosworth’s beauty seems to be fading a bit. I honestly think that years of being too thin are wearing down her looks.

I mean the eye makeup is driving me nuts but she wouldn’t be the Kstew that I know and love if she was 100% on point 🙂

I don’t get the comment regarding the promotion? What does Julianne being generous have to do with anything? Stewart is in the movie. Of course she is part of the promotion.
This! And Julianne really has been then one mostly promoting this film, but it would be kind of strange if Kristen and Kate did show up at all!
Love this haircut on her – hope she keeps it for a while. The eye makeup is a bit heavy, but overall, she pulled it together pretty well.
As to her remarks concerning the tabloids, while I agree the vast majority of tabloid content is fabricated entertainment, occasionally they do break an actual sizzler of a story, complete with pics. 👀

Adore this look on her. She pulled out three really cool looks in 24 hours. All three ladies looked lovely at the screening.
This would a total winner with a full slip underneath. But Julianne is killing it, and even Kate looks a bit better. Kristen’s look is just a bit heavy, especially since she doesn’t smile in the pics – between the outfit and her serious look (and ugly tattoo), she just looks a little dour. She’s beautiful and young, but dresses a bit drab.
Stories and pictures are different. She’s talking about what she says being misconstrued, usually on purpose, to sell more copies. She can’t really say that about pictures, otherwise what: “who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?”
I think Kristen looks stunning, she really is beautiful. I want to root for her- I just wish she could act.:( And I’m not even saying that to be snarky. Maybe I am missing something, she does get good reviews. But it’s like the emperor’s new clothes with me.

Regardless my point about this phrase holds, and indicates that Ms. Stewart doesn’t quite understand what she is saying.
Her personal life is just that to me. HER personal life. Yes, she has messed up MAJOR.
(So have I. ) I like some of her films. The small independent films with strong casts.
I think she likes being in the tabloids. Otherwise she would live somewhere else than Silver Lake/Sunset Blvd- Paparazzi- City .
I just cannot with someone so determinedly dour and angry. I’m sure she collected enough money from the Twilight mess to live however she pleases. So if she doesn’t want to be photographed or interviewed, perhaps she could consider another profession? I haven’t seen everything she’s done, but what I have seen is full of lip-biting, twitching and hair-tossing. Not terribly impressive. Why spend your life being angry most of the time?
