Do we even know what he is supposedly transitioning to? Really, Could it be he is transitioning into a single man? I just can’t trust anything that the Kardashian/Jenners put out there as it never actually turns out to be the truth. The scuttlebutt is he is in the market for a reality show for he and his boys. I think I will sit back and simply watch before I believe anything. They just tell so many lies.

    • TX says:

+1. You never know with them. They have been very careful with their wording, which can either be an attempt to be respectful or an attempt to hid the plot line of the show (or both).

    • Tifygodess24 says:

      @dawn- This time a million.
He’s on the dark side right there with Kris and the rest of these cockroaches.

    • Happy21 says:

Exactly what I came to ask/say. Has a ‘transformation’ even been admitted to? Besides the fact that he and PMK have divorced or separated? I’m not shocked it’s being turned into a reality show. I honestly wouldn’t put it past this despicable family for them to play up the rumours of his starting to look like a woman to get people to watch a stupid reality show about it and then for all of those people who watch to be duped and WHOA that wasn’t really it at all!

I was appalled by the In Touch cover and don’t understand how that is even legal for them to print that. Which says that perhaps the ‘family’ (read crime family, manson family, what have you) had something to do with it.

  2. InvaderTak says:

Didn’t we already do a Steve jobs biopic? Enough already.

  3. Sam says:

I feel really bad for Bruce. If he’s not transitioning, then he’s really being subjected to a lot of improper speculation. If he is, the speculation is still wrong and I feel bad that he has to do it in the public eye.

One of my former bosses is trans (MtF) and she’s said how hard it is even as a private citizen. She can’t get work because all her old references and accomplishments were under her male name, so if she wants to talk about what she’s done, she needs to out herself – and that almost never works out well. Bruce is already a public figure and used to be associated with masculine achievement and athleticism. If he is trans, that is going to just make it harder for people to accept him. I just wish him well in whatever he does.

I’m usually anti-reality TV, but honestly, if he wants to do it, godspeed. Maybe it can actually be a positive.

    • Jayna says:

He’s never given an interview denying all of the latest reports over the past year that he is transitioning or transsexual. Usually there would be massive damage control from such rumors.

They’ve been slowly letting the public get used to it, I think. I thought maybe he would just go so far and not really fully change genders because he is such a jock and known for all of his accomplishments and loves the accolades and knows it would be hard publicly to transition to a woman. I am rooting for him, but I know it must be hard for his sons and young daughters.

Khloe and Kim and Kourtney, not so much. They had a father who is strong in their memory. But when you transition your voice changes, everything about you outwardly changes, and that must be hard when you’ve grown up your whole life with a father figure. It is brave of him to do this and it seems his family is rallying around him.

    • TX says:

I’m hoping it will be positive as well (assuming the “journey” is indeed a transition). Maybe they can use the show to gain some really valuable visibility for the trans* community.

      • Sam says:

That’s my hope. Trans issues are so poorly understood by the public, and part of the reason why is because they are often hidden (and often for good reason). But I do hope that IF Bruce is doing that sort of thing, he can use it to spread some awareness and compassion.

However, if the show will be on E and produced by Seacrest, I have little hope for it. You KNOW they are not going to go for the educational, compassionate angle. They’re going all in for scandal.

    • Karen says:

I’m doing a research study on effective interventions with employers to reduce discrimination of the mentally ill in terms of hiring and promotion. The LGBT and trans community also face similar discrimination and stigma in the employment arena (and obviously elsewhere). I do hope that if he is transitioning or whatever issue he’s facing that a reality show about it handles it respectfully and doesn’t sensationalize it. Hopefully it makes a positive impact. I think his athletic past is a plus in contributing to the awareness that anyone can face these gender issues. And that these things are not about sex so much as they are about identity, being comfortable in your own skin, and being able to be publicly the person that you are inside. And that person might be a trans olympian. But who am I kidding. This is a Kardashian vehicle and will probably become a point-and-laugh.

    • homegrrrl says:

I think he’s acting like an abused spouse. The plastic surgery just screams “insecure” and he seems masculine to me. I bet Kris would rather fuel the Trans rumour than him dating some of her gal pals. I have no judgy Ness of Trans. I think pmk is milking the rumours for $$ and paying him to go along and not date hot women for awhile.

      • Alex says:

You know that there are lesbian transsexuals right? And that you don’t have to be “feminine” just because you are a woman. Bruce could be a woman attracted to women and still be “masculine”.

  4. deehunny says:

This is my first time hearing of the V-Steam. Seems gimmicky.

Why shouldn’t Mr. Jenner make a small fortune off the reality show? If he is OK with his transition becoming public, what’s the harm? I bet more people will watch this than they ever watched KUWTK. I know I would!

  5. Rita says:

Bruce Jenner, publicity stunt. …….nothing more.

    • Iheartgossip says:

EXACTLY! They are trolling everybody. Shame on all of them.

    • DrMrsTheMonarch says:

I would agree with you, except Bruce has (by now) had multiple surgeries done to further this “journey” along. Nose jobs, face lifts, Adams apple shaved, and supposedly, his lips enlarged.

Plus he’s looking “hippy” and busty, so he’s almost certainly on hormones.

If this is all for publicity, he’s really wedded to the lie, and is willing to endanger himself to do all this. Needless repeat surgeries and daily hormones for a man in his 60’s is never a good idea.

  6. serena says:

Well I would watch it, should be more interesting than the Kardashian reality.

  7. Veruca Salt says:

If he his arm was just twisted to do this due to a disclosure Kris made him sign or something, I honestly I feel bad for Bruce. But if he IS the willing participant and wants to give a voice for those transitioning or help make society become more understanding about this, then I can’t fault him for that.

  8. INeedANap says:

Am I the only one who doesn’t get the Jessica Alba body worship? Don’t get me wrong, she’s certainly a beautiful woman, but I really don’t see why she stands out so much for some people.

But I have to admire her businesswoman skills!

    • Dr.Funkenstein says:

Nope, never got it either. I’ve always thought, “cute,” but like a million others in Hollywood. Nothing really stands out about her.

    • Whatwhatnot says:

Nope. Me too. She has a gorgeous face but she has a basic body.

      • Veruca Salt says:

Hehe I always thought the other way around ☺️ Like, I’ve always been so impressed by her butt, it’s so round and perky, I can see why guys love her but her face has always been meh to me

  9. Iheartgossip says:

He is an awful father. He is an awful man. I bet any amount this is all a ‘troll’ for their show. Ryan Seacrust should be ashamed for bring this band if miscreets to our society. Shame on all of them.

    • Veruca Salt says:

Woah. Why do you say this? I mean, how do you know he is an awful man?

      • maeliz says:

Nobody can say he’s awful. When people say he is, they probably don’t know anything but KUWTK shit about him. He’s the only one that has earned his fame.

      • Bridget says:

I’m guessing the point is that Bruce Jenner only comes across as ‘good’ because he’s the direct comparison to PMK. An old fart in a jar would look like a good parent and a good person in comparison to her. But Jenner has clearly stood by while his children (aided by his wife) made increasingly bad decisions, andthe Jenner boys have been pretty blunt about the fact that Bruce married PMK and just disappeared from their lives.

  10. Joy says:

I still don’t think he is becoming a woman. I think it’s a mid life crisis.

    • Ag-UK says:

Me too. I think they are careful with their wording when speaking admin tune in you will see!! I am not sure I believe it. I won’t be watching haven’t watched that or any of the shows in 5+ years.

    • word says:

I think it’s a KUWTK low ratings crisis. This family is currently in over-drive trying to get pr for their show and spin offs.

    • LNG says:

Yeah, I am inclined to believe that they are doing this for ratings. I think they all have been so careful in their language because they want to build up interest for his reality show, which will drag things out and it will turn out that he is just “transitioning” to being a single 60 something year old man who has always been a bit to heavy on the plastic surgery.

I could be wrong though – if so, I just hope the show handles it appropriately.

      • Jayna says:

Well, Kris isn’t producing this show. Otherwise, I would agree with you. But since her greedy fame-ho hands aren’t involved in creating this show, I think he is transitioning.

  11. lunchcoma says:

So, the Lainey blind, is that meant to be about Kathryn Bigelow? She’s the only one who’s coming to mind who fits it.

  12. moi says:

wow. winona did something to her face! and it’s a job well done!

  13. mimif says:

I know she looks fantastic. I wonder what she eats for breakfast…

  14. Leslie says:

I see this as a whole lot of hype to create another dumb reality show. Is pimp mama Kris his manager? The show will be all about how the media created all the hype and he’s not really transitioning into anything except a single man.

    • parischic says:

      bingo …
      i agree 100% …
      the word ” journey” is high-larious …
they must really believe the public are idiots ….

  15. LAK says:

    Of course he did!!

  16. Ravensdaughter says:

I never understand why people want to display intensely personal details of their life in the MOST INTRUSIVE FORMAT POSSIBLE ON TV-the reality show. Of course, this behavior runs in the family; however, nothing the Kardashians or Bruce’s daughters have done “in reality” compares to the process he will undergo.

A few years ago I sped through a fabulously witty book by Richard Russo, “Straight Man” (1997). If you ever work on a faculty at a university or college anywhere (especially an English Department!), you must read this book!

One of the characters in the book is Russo’s interpretation of a prof who worked with Russo in their real job in the English department at Colby College. Russo’s colleague transgendered to a woman, and “She’s Not There: A Life in Two Genders” is Jennifer Finney Boylan’s account of her transformation.

It is a wonderfully written, insightful book which I highly recommend. Insight, of course, only comes from looking back in time, not from having every painful moment of your life on film (and with poor production values, which doesn’t help) for all the world to see. Skip Jenner’s reality show and read Boylan’s book (which, incidentally, has an afterword by Richard Russo!)

Jenner, in fact, should read the book before he opts to display the range of emotions-and potential complications, physical and psychological-that Boylan described in her book.

  17. parischic says:

    “transitioning’ ???
    to what ?

  18. Imo says:

Mmaybe a real reality show will be produced

  19. scout says:

Hype to sell some more trash about Jenners this time. He is not transforming to anything but needs some income, IMO.
