Eddie Cibrian got a job! Finally, an explanation for why LeAnn Rimes was so desperate to convince people that she was terribly ill – she needed Eddie to NOT work and stay home with her. EDDDDDIIIIEEEEE!!!! Bring me the thermometer! Make me some soup! PAY ATTENTION!! According to the trade papers, Eddie was cast in a TV sitcom vehicle for Monica Potter, who is just coming off of NBC’s Parenthood. Potter is producing the sitcom, and will star as an animal-loving woman with three ex-husbands and three children by each husband. It’s called The Kate Winslet Story. No!! Just jokes. It’s untitled for now. Eddie plays one of the ex-husbands.
Monica Potter has found the quartet of men in her sitcom life. Eddie Cibrian, Donald Faison, Josh Hopkins and Rory Scovel have joined the cast of NBC’s untitled sitcom loosely based on the “Parenthood” actress’s life with three ex-husbands, a child by each of them and a new boyfriend.
Cibrian, Faison and Scovel will play her three exes. Hopkins plays a veterinarian who is attracted to Potter’s character, Bridget, an animal lover who brings her rescues to kindly Dr. Tom.
The untitled project was written by Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer for Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production and Warner Bros. TV. Bilsing-Graham and Kreamer exec produce with DeGeneres and Very Good’s Jeff Kleeman. Potter is a producer on the pilot.
According to THR, Eddie will play the first ex-husband, “a slick professional gambler. He remains slightly territorial when it comes to Bridget, even after their divorce. They share a daughter, Jessica.” (Art imitating life?) Do you think this show will get picked up? I think it might, but not because of Eddie. People really like Monica Potter and I think there are lots of people looking forward to Donald Faison’s return to sitcom glory (he is such a talented TV actor). Who knows? This could be really good for Eddie’s career.
BUT LEANN IS STILL SO SICK, you guys. She’s so sick she had to cancel her Las Vegas show this weekend. Why won’t Eddie stay home and look after her properly, you guys? SHE’S DYING.

She will go down in history as chalkboard child. How depressing for her, yet her shut in fans must be delighted that Le is sending them a daily message now. Does anyone else in the music industry do this? OMG, she is ill, her parents must be so ashamed of the so called star they thought they raised. Of course if you look at her fans, they all tweet every illness they have, it’s like a completion between them who can be the sickest.
Her jackpot crowd are people in their 70’s who go gamble anyway, they walk freely into a small room show, have a free drink, talk between themselves while she performs, it’s free to them. The place takes the hit for no money off of D-listed singers, it’s a free draw for them. Her 3 band wonder is half a normal show, most performers have at 8-9 backup on stage. Have you seen how those guys look? Dirty, grungy losers. Must be the only work they will ever get. They need to clean up, have some decent clothes on, even their hands look dirty.
She reschedules everything, her insurance company must see a pattern here, is she scamming them? She should be sued for lost revenue for the joints. imo
He’s cashing in on Brandi’s success on Celebrity Apprentice perhaps. I bet he curses himself on the daily for that affair that has wrecked his life and that of his family.

Well, Leann is not a star and no longer brings much money in. I wonder if it costs her money every time she cancels, because it’s not like she sells many tickets.

When neither work, the cash goes fast. All the money she has spent keeping her man was not worth it. She is the fool, the world laughs at her, all the while he gets served up with nice things she has to buy.
Canceling concerts is her last straw, boycott any place that books her, even the street corner is to good for her now. She never was a star, in her mind only, 2 songs at 14 does not make a future in music for anyone. Now all she does is re-make other artists songs, her yodel is long gone. She just needs a simple job that would hire a 16 year old.
The douche Ed will always be a douche. He is fat, no body left, look at his huge legs and behind. He has screwed his future too, no one wants a cheater on a show now, those days are long gone.

He’s totally hustling now. A year or so ago, he’d really let himself go (for an actor, anyway) and had put on weight/bloat. It looks like he’s started working out again. And now two jobs! In one year! I think if he can find some steady work he’ll be out the door.
Here’s hoping he is ready to make a dramatic exit away from the ATM!
If he can get some steady work, we can at the very least expect the crazy to ramp up on twitter. ESPECIALLY if he’s playing a character who’s protective of his ex wife.

Can’t stand Eddie, but at least he’s finally showing his kids he works and will support them. I wonder if they’re starting to ask questions. I think Leann likes him home and trailing after her; her power, considerable in the beginning, has diminished greatly. She needs an Eric Johnson, who is happy to stay home and give her kids and be the househusband. Eddie already has kids, clearly doesn’t want more- his youngest is almost 8. Then again, Eric wants to be supported and she is destroying her career. It would be bittersweet if this led to the demise of her marriage to Eddie, as Brandi and the boys have dealt with her insanity and his vengeful ways for all these years, but it would still be nice for them to have peace. And it would be hilarious if she started suing him for alimony; she would have no problem taking money from the boys. BTW, it could also be the Melanie Griffith story, or the Christie Brinkley story. Off to wait and pray that the heating guy shows up on this FOURTH day of waiting.

Her drama queen need for attention is that of a 15 year old girl, and it is getting OLD.
I think if he finds some success and leaves LeAnn, the boys will end up with Brandi way more. He won’t have LeAnn to play mom to them and he’d have to look after them himself. I know Brandi has said he’s a good dad, but any good mom would say the same whether true or not. I doubt he’s very involved.
You have to wonder if it costs her when she cancels. If not, then she certainly isn’t bringing in much money. If you want an Eric Johnson- which is what Leann needs- then you have to be willing to be the breadwinner… it actually would be ironic, not hilarious, if she sued him for alimony after all those years of supporting him.

@Jenn12, IIRC, some people in that industry had posted that it’s typical in a contract that even with cancellation, the artist gets paid a certain amount. This is why I think of Leann as a scammer. If that is true, she’s knowingly booking these shows at these low-rent places, cancelling based on lies and then STILL taking these places’ money. It’s a total scam.
@briargirl, OMG, you’re a trip and a half. Trust me, if Eddie leaves her, she will look for alimony and yawp on about how she ruined her life to be with him. @Claire, I can totally see that. She doesn’t sell tickets, doesn’t want to be bothered with performing, but still wants money for doing nothing. However, I think- hope- it’s catching up with her. She has always carelessly left evidence around, like the trail that the boys will eventually find about how she harassed their mother. She has photos of her drinking and posing all over the internet prior to her sick claims. She probably wants a reality show where she can be the judge- because she considers herself superior- doesn’t have to perform, gets paid, etc. What amazes me is she truly considers herself a hard worker and a victim.
@jenn12: I truly do not understand why more fans don’t call her out. She often parties right before the shows that she is claiming to be too sick for. The evidence is all over the internet, posted by her. She knew before partying all weekend that she was (supposedly) getting a sore throat. Instead of resting up because she has fans to please and career obligations to keep, she partied. If that isn’t a showing of her priorities, I don’t know what is. A person that gave a crap, a professional, would have been resting up and prepping to be well.
I look at Twitter sometimes, and Leann’s fans are certifiable. They rant and rave over anything and everything. They were going on about how inappropriate Brandi is and judging her as a mom, and someone started posting photos of Leann grabbing Eddie’s crotch in front of the kids, climbing over Jake to make out with a newly separated Eddie, making out with Eddie at kids’ soccer games and these fans were like, “Whaaaaat? It’s true love!” Or they rant over Brandi’s FU line, but ignore the photo of Leann and her f— jewelry. Or go on over Brandi giving the finger, and, when confronted of photos of both LR and EC doing it, they just blithely go on as if they didn’t see it. They seriously believe Brandi copies Leann. The level of delusion is unbelievable. They truly believe she is sick when she says she is.

I am not really up on anything Hollywood. In my younger days, I was the type to follow bands like Crunt and Beat Happening (in those days, Hole was cool). We loved that they played tiny places, where we could yell out requests, etc. This has become my guilty pleasure (and distraction as I was trapped in the house with 2 bored kids waiting for the heating guy for 3 days. I read a lot of recaps I don’t even watch tv; I just read recaps and articles. If you can get Why’s attention, I would bet s/he would know much more than I do. I don’t think LR’s projects go far. Ironic, considering how she used her celebrity to bully Brandi for years.
I read she was a total failure, everything canceled. She promotes her crap before she has a deal, and when it doesn’t make it, she hides the true facts. The staged auditions and audience blew the top on this from what I read. True or not, not sure.
Peace for Brandi and the boys would be nice, but rest assured Ed used Le for his own personal gain to make Brandi miserable. The mind control of a child is so easy to do. She is the nut for doing it, so what comes for her now, she deserves.
Brandi should have never agreed to stay in the area where she is, high living, so that Le had access to her children. The court should have let Brandi live where she wanted with visit’s on weekends only.
A messy singer and a loser Dad is just what good kids need in their life. Ugh! Hope at least he gets a few bucks for the pilot, but it will never be enough for him to leave a cash cow, she has always had to buy friends to keep in the news.
Well, I adored Parenthood, so I’ll give this a shot. I think Eddie is a scumball, but I saw him on a few episodes of Hot In Cleveland, and he was ok. And if it annoys LeAnn, bonus.

The best comedy has a natural flow to it. Eddie is way too stiff and his delivery is obviously always on cue. Eddie is a “hit your mark, say your line, and scratch yourself” actor. He’ll soon become the ex you don’t see much.

Let us not forget the nearly empty and/ or cancelled venues, which were small-fairground and third rate casinos type venues. Oh yes, and also the drunken international tour efforts- sh1tfaced in what-Dublin? Then cancelled the next day’s concert? How about the drunken Taiwanese concert, sitting on the stage, lyric amnesia. And then there was that simply fabulous surreality program she ponied up to produce. I could go on, but now I am bored to tears.
So success. Much popular. Many crowd. Such ticket sale. Wow.
She ruined it herself. She’s the one who has made a fool of herself for the last 5 years. Besides, her career was pretty dead before the affair. Most had forgotten about her. The affair and her insanity actually reminded people she existed. She had burned many bridges prior and she had a strong reputation for being a brat and unreliable, in the industry, long before Eddie came around. I think Dean’s full-time job was to just keep her afloat.

In the case of a cancellation the venue gets paid for loss of revenue, performer $0. Special Events Coverage in insurance lingo, the price for a LR event is high based on cancellation history. I doubt she’ll be booked again without a rider that she pays for the insurance.
Ouch–can you imagine the premiums Leaky would have to pay on cancellation insurance??? They would be out of this world with the reputation she has of cancelling all the time. Pathetic and desperate lil ole LOSER!

She was my least favorite character on Parenthood. To me, she just didn’t fit at all. I think she is probably a pretty good actress but I felt she was miscast in Parenthood. I do like Donald Faison, though, but not enough to watch this show.

We did notice that Leann was doing things that were not her normal routine, like sporting pigtails on February 8 and February 14 and making sure that The Dailymail emphasized that she was wearing pigtails in their writeup, the sudden interest in chalkboards 2 days after Valentine’s Day, and doing arts and crafts with her family on February 11. We all wondered what woman she got the ideas from. Now we know. If Leann and Eddie are happy like Leann posted on the chalkboard that “Eddie” made her, why is she now single white femaling Monica?
Leann found out that Eddie got the job on the sitcom February 11 because that’s when the sick tweets started and the day she bragged on instagram how much fun EVERYONE in her family was having making Jake’s Valentine’s box for his class party. We all assumed that Leann’s main target that night was Brandi, but it was just Leann trying to be Monica Potter.
You know that chalkboard that “Eddie” made for Leann, well when you google Monica Potter and chalkboards, what comes up are 3 chalkboard projects (chalkboard notebook, pumpkin, and barware) from Monica’s online webstore. I was searching Monica’s twitter account to see what other things Leann single white femaled from her and on February 9, Monica posted a photo of herself hanging red garland around a chalkboard. Does anyone else find it strange that Eddie gets Leann gifts that mimic his costars? On Christmas, “Eddie” got Leann YSL shoes and a purse, the same brand of clothing that Chelsea Kane wears. For Valentine’s Day, “Eddie” made Leann a chalkboard, the same DIY subject that Monica Potter blogged about on her webstore many times. Monica also has a webstore, which she created in 2012, and opened a store in Ohio on February 14. Could Leann be anymore transparent? She takes details from these women’s lives and incorporates them into her life to create a story for herself. If Eddie was Leann’s soulmate, then why is Leann always morphing herself into the women Eddie comes into contact with? Brandi, Scheana, Josie Davis(Hallmark movie), Elisa(tattoos and the reason Leann is always talking about whys he wants a baby girl), Lizzy, Chelsea Kane…the list goes on and on.

Leann canceled a concert today, you would think that she would be somewhere resting, not on twitter having a tweetfest with her fans. When will the staged handholding photo-ops with Eddie begin since Leann is way too sick to attend the concerts she had scheduled for tonight and Saturday?

It’s true and very sad that LeWee is so insecure and uncomfortable with herself. I kinda feel sorry for her. She has never seemed happy with herself and I have to believe that growing up in the industry and being sort of plain and inconspicuous shaped that. She is an adult and completely responsible for her choices and actions but I have a hard time totally hating on anybody I think is emotionally damaged and unstable. I posted about a week ago on some board and got replied to by an obvious LeAnn sock puppet. I replied asking her to love herself enough to get the help she needs. Less than an hour later, LeAnn had posted that Instagram of hers “dear self, I love you”.

I hope this does well. I like Monica and Donald, and they’ll probably get something else if this flops anyway, but I want this for Eddie. I want him to earn money and pay proper child support. And support LeAnn for a while and truly “prove the haterzzz wrong” by actually supporting his wife and not ditching her the moment he gets a sniff of success. As much as I despise both Leann and Eddie (but no one is as bad as Eddie. That man is scum), I do hope he truly loves her.

This is interesting. Elisa’s daughter’s birthday was on February 18th, Lizzy and Elisa posted photos wishing her a Happy Birthday. I’m not sure if they threw her a birthday party on Wednesday or are going to have the birthday party this weekend. If they have the party this weekend, then it’s perfectly clear why Leann had to cancel those 2 concerts. What stands out the most is that Leann didn’t write her usual “my girls…love you…love Briar Rose” comments on Lizzy or Elisa’s instagram photos or go on a tweetfest about her god daughter’s birthday. Even Kiki didn’t write anything on their instagram accounts. Elisa’s daughter just has to wait because stalking Monica’s webstore is Leann’s top priority right now. On Wednesday, Leann tweeted that she was hacking up a lung and she made 5 tweets. The reason Leann didn’t tweet much on Wednesday could be because she was at Elisa’s babysitting Eddie. The only reason Leann want a girl is because Elisa has a daughter and Elisa posted a photo of Eddie holding the baby onto her instagram account.

Leann just had a tweetfest, mainly still tweeting about how sick she is and one tweet about how proud she is of Eddie for landing that new sitcom. She is still writing quotes from pin on the chalkboard and acting like Eddie wrote them as love notes to her. Leann is trying way too hard to make it look like Eddie loves her and that Eddie gave her the chalkboard. Why would Eddie get Leann a gift that his new co-star specializes in? If Leann was getting Saturday love, she wouldn’t be on pin searching for quotes to post on the chalkboard she paid one of her fans to make, having tweetfests on twitter, and quotefests on instagram. LeAnn’s new chalkboard stupidity seals the deal for me that she’s legitimately unstable and desperate to prove thad Eddie loves her.Even her writing is odd in the way it changes from writing to printing and back, all of the time. She can’t possibly think that’ she’s going to be able to be on set for every rehearsal and taping can she? If this gets picked up, Eddie won’t be available to follow her around on her crappy casino basement tours anymore. He also won’t be available for the drunken, bi-weekly vacations, which have been such an important factor in their relationship either. In fact, he’ll have to stay sober during the week so he can be prepared for work. Considering that he only ever appears affectionate towards her when he looks wasted, this doesn’t bode well. He’ll also have to travel to promote the show and she won’t be able to go with him every time he does. Is she just going to cancel even more than she does now? One great thing is that, Eddie having a real, ongoing place of employment means that he’ll have to pay Brandi more than the pittance he does, he’ll be capable of taking care of his sons without LeAnn and the balance of financial power in that relationship will be changed. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that LeAnn is not happy about this and that her magic chalkboard will be a window into her damaged little psyche, while this all plays out.

On another note, I def think Brandi as a bff of the lead character would be more successful on a comedy like this rather than Eddie as one of the three ex husbands. They should get another guy. The guy can’t act, has no real humor and can only do one type of acting, play a pretty boy which is all looks and requires no real acting. Brandi proved herself to be hilarious at times, like this “Yes, Lisa, anything you say Lisa, I love you Lisa.” She totally nailed it. No script and all her. I’ve gone off her but she really has her hilarious moments and you can’t help to admit it. Best scene of season 5 so far.

Wait—she went to Nobu with Elisa when she was sooooo sick she had to cancel her two gigs??? With her tremendous work ethic that she supposedly inherited from her bio-dad, she would do that?? I am totally NOT shocked!! Can you imagine people sitting around a restaurant while she is hacking like a barfing dog?? Hard to tell when she is lying and when she IS lying!! My guess is she’s even more uncertain about the relationship and is trying to emphasize FAMILY.

Reality is, the boys are at a more independent age where she will be a distant memory very quickly, if Daddy ever leaves.

S— is going to be getting more and more real.
The cycle continues. Eddie refuses to go on tour with Leann. Leann goes on tweetfests about how sick she is, even though she does things that contradict her “sick” storyline(doing phone interviews about her bikini body without exhibiting any coughing spells, posting photos of herself on a beach for 2 days, or holding a red solo cup filled with alcohol). Leann cancels her concert(s) because she is just “too sick” to give her fans the concert they deserve and then within hours of her concerts being cancelled Leann is miraculously healed and sets up a staged handholding or happy family photo-op looking perfectly healthy. Just as we all predicted, Leann set up a staged photo-op yesterday. Yesterday, despite tweeting for 8 days about how she was too sick to attend her 2 concerts, Leann tweeted that she and her family were having Mexican food twice yesterday because it was National Margarita Day, Turkey Tacos earlier in the day and then a family night out at a Mexican restaurant later in the day. Yesterday wasn’t actually National Margarita Day, Leann found out it wasn’t Margarita Day at 7:01 pm. Why didn’t Leann’s soulmate tell Leann that Feb 21, wasn’t National Margarita Day? Eddie wasn’t with Leann yesterday morning like she wanted everyone to believe, which once again means that Eddie couldn’t have written the “love note” on the chalkboard yesterday . The first time Leann ever saw Eddie yesterday was when they met up for the staged happy family dinner at the Mexican restaurant.
When Leann’s fans questioned if she was even well enough to eat Mexican food( since she was still tweeting yesterday morning that she was still sick and on her second round of antibiotics), Leann said that the saying is “FEED a cold or bronchitis” and that she needed to get out of the house because except for doctor’s visits, she hadn’t left the house for 4 days. So Leann didn’t attend the celebration that Elisa had for her daughter’s birthday on February 18? If Leann had gone to the doctor, she would have set up a staged photo-op like the time she was papped outside of a doctor’s office after spending hours on twitter and instagram pretending that she was offended because Star said she was pregnant.

What stands out about the grocery store siting is what a horrible soulmate Eddie is to Leann. According to Leann, Eddie is such a good, caring, loving, and thoughtful husband that he made Leann a chalkboard using wood from one of their “romantic” vacations that they “didn’t” spend with Kiki, but he can’t even be bothered to do the grocery shopping for his sick wife so that she can recover? If Eddie’s mother loves Leann like Leann is always claiming, why didn’t she help her daughter-in-law out with the grocery store? Does that mean we will be seeing 2 staged photo-ops today? Family not out at a Mexican restaurant/Nobu and grocery store(Whole Foods/Costco/the same store Monica Potter shops at) photos?

Instead of sitting by the fire and cuddling with her family, Leann is back on twitter having another tweetfest. This time she is didn’t tweet about how sick she was, but about popcorn and wine about how she ignores all the haters. She also tweeted to the man who saw her in the store earlier today, telling him how nice it was to meet him. Notice that even though Leann has been tweeting about how she is still sick, he didn’t mention anything about Leann coughing or hacking during their grocery store encounter? This is why no takes Leann’s music career seriously and why Leann was performing in a parking lot in New Orleans on February 8 instead of walking the red carpet of the Grammys.
Eddie must have forgotten his way home because Leann posted a video of her BFF, Mateo(the hair stylist who also harassed Brandi), playing with her dog on instagram to make people think that Eddie was home with her. Even though Leann tweeted that she only has half a voice, in the video you can clearly hear her speaking without any problems.

Even though Leann told one of her fans that she has half a voice, in the video you can hear Leann in the background speaking without any problems. Why does Leann lie to her fans like this? If Leann and Eddie are happy, why is Leann having her friend Mateo pretend to be Eddie?

In pics, Eddie’s hands appear quite large. On the Instagram video, the male hands appear much smaller and “delicate”, imo.
When Eddie was married to Brandi he attended Oscar afterparties, but now that he is married to Leann you rarely see him invited to award shows or afterparties. Maybe he will attend the ACMs with Leann, Leann bragged on Saturday that she would be there this year. So far no photos of Leann and Eddie having dinner with Jake and Mason or Leann shopping at the grocery store have surfaced.
Leann continues to show just how obsessed she is with Monica Potter by continuing her daily routine of transcribing quotes from pin to the chalkboard that “Eddie”(one of her fans) made her. She calls it “chalktalk”, another thing she single white femaled. When she wrote the quote today, Leann didn’t pretend that Eddie wrote it or that he was even at her home when she wrote it.

What Leann wrote on the chalkboard: “By letting go it all gets done.”
This quote comes from the let it go/move on section of pin. Considering that Leann faked sick for 10 days just to cancel 2 concerts she had last week, Leann isn’t letting it go. Why would she? If she had left Eddie all alone in LA for those 2 days she couldn’t cope with what she would find when she got back. Or was this quote just another passive aggressive message to Brandi or attack on Brandi’s marriage to Eddie?
Edited for re-posting. Why, I agree with you. Brandi should definitely sue and take action/restraining orders against Leann posting photos of her children. BUT, Brandi doesn’t seem to give a darn about her own children and despite people on here and elsewhere pleading with her, pleading her for four years to finally once and for all DO SOMETHING about Leann, Brandi point blank REFUSES to. Brandi doesn’t give a flying rats. If she did, she would have done something long long ago, instead of spending all her potential lawyer money on booze, botox, collagen and chicken cutlets. If I were Brandi I would have put a stop to Leann posting photos of MY children long ago, but it doesn’t seem to bother Brandi in the slightest. She doesn’t give a darn about Leann exploiting her 2 children, she doesn’t give the remotest flying rats darn, she has made that abundantly clear, so why should we? She has given her tacit approval to Leann, so we should just take the hint.
