Remember when Carson Daly and Tara Reid were a hot couple? I was remembering those halcyon days just the other night when I accidentally caught a few minutes of Last Call With Carson Daly. As it turns out, Carson thankfully moved on to bigger and better things after his relationship with the hot mess known as “Taradise”. He’s been in a long-term relationship with Siri Pinter, who just gave birth to a boy Sunday night. They named the little boy Jackson James Daly, which I think is a pretty good name, all things considered. People has more:

Now, the last call Carson Daly will be hearing will be for a baby bottle. The late-night talk show host and his longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter welcomed a boy on Sunday night.

Jackson James Daly, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz., is the first child for the couple. “Parents are both ecstatic,” his rep Heather Lylis tells PEOPLE. “They have a happy and healthy baby boy.”

With Daly being such an avid cyclist “friends are already looking for bike helmets for the little one,” joked his rep in November when Daly announced the news. Daly, 35 is the host of The Last Call With Carson Daly.

If you like it, put a ring on it, Carson. That’s all I’m saying. It’s good to hear that the baby is healthy and that Carson and his girlfriend seem so well-adjusted. Carson was looking rather manorexic for a while, but he seems to have put on some weight the past few months, perhaps due to pregnancy-sympathy weight gain with his girlfriend. Congratulations to the happy couple, and welcome to the world, Jackson James!
