Here’s the latest in your non-stop Paris news:
Paris’ mom Kathy and dad Rick visited her in jail on Tuesday. They saw her for a half and hour begind glass. Her dad said she was “weepy,” but “doing the best she can” and “hanging in there.” Her mom said she “wants to just do her time, and get on.” The Hiltons were frisked before being led in for their brief viist.
Paris Hilton was dumped by her agent at Endeavor. They said that she was no longer a client, and sources claim she was too demanding. She was also said to be trying to become the “Martha Stewart of her generation.” Martha Stewart did her time and moved on.
Still, it seems to me that they should have dealt with her drama because everyone is going to want a piece of Paris once she gets out of jail.
And the latest public figure to weigh in on the Paris coverage is no other than OJ Simpson. The man who dominated the media for months with his wrongfully-acquitted double murder case against his ex-wife and her friend says that things have “changed a lot since my trial.” At first I thought he meant that his trial brought in ratings and that’s when the news starting covering celebrity flull instead of the important stuff, but that’s up to interpretation:
“When Paris Hilton was going to jail last week, more people knew about that than knew that we were sending people into space that day.”
He continues: “It is about time that the news media point out that they are not doing their job. Things have changed a lot from my trial to today. It is all about ratings, unfortunately.
