Apparently, the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered last night and this morning, I’m looking at a million headlines about Kim’s fertility. None of this is really new information, by the way. Kim has been telling everyone that she and Kanye have been trying to get pregnant again for months. Kim has also said that if she and Kanye can’t conceive naturally, she would be open to IVF or surrogacy.
Many of the konspiracists believe “surrogacy” is Kim’s endgame, because she loathed being pregnant with North and she doesn’t want to gain weight again. Perhaps. But maybe 20 million quotes about Kim and Kanye’s sex life will make you feel differently about that conspiracy? Because that’s what happened during last night’s episode of KUWTK. Us Weekly compiled a list!
*When sister Kendall Jenner asks why she is lying in bed instead of sitting with everyone else in the room: “The doctor said when I have sex I have to lay down for, like, 10 to 20 minutes, so, I just had sex before you guys got here. He said it takes 10 minutes for a sperm to swim up there. I’m going to wait like 5 more minutes just for this to marinate inside of me.”
*Consulting with her makeup artist after a bathroom quickie with West during a photo shoot: “I’m trying to stall for a few. We’ll tell them we’re just putting body makeup on.”
*When sister Khloe Kardashian asks about the bathroom quickie: “I was like, I’m ovulating today! Ao I made him come to my photo shoot.”
*Explaining why she and West are having so much sex: “There’s only a 20 percent chance of getting pregnant every month, I know that I’m ovulating right now, so you gotta get it in when you can get it in!”
*Lamenting not getting pregnant: “Maybe I’m trying too hard.”
*At the fertility doctor: “I am so on a mission to get pregnant. I remember growing up being so close with my sisters, so I want siblings for North. Because it’s been so tough I’m seeing a fertility doctor to see, like, exactly when I’m ovulating and really increase my odds of getting pregnant naturally.”
*To the fertility doctor: “If we have, like, a lot of sex and one of the sperm gets to that, don’t they say it could be a girl unless you do it right when you’re ovulating?”
*Also to the fertility doctor, and not actually about sex with West but too good to not include: “I had a psychic and a hairdresser that is psychic tell me that it’s going to be a boy.”
*About her obsession: “I am about to ovulate so I buy every kind of ovulation stick imaginable just to see exactly when I’m going to be ovulating and hope to really increase my odds.”
*On her determination: “It’s so frustrating. Kourtney just sneezes and gets pregnant. Like, not everyone is like that. It’s going to take work, and I have to work hard at it.”
*Catching up with Khloe: “I’ve been having sex 500 times a day.”
*At a Malibu lunch with Bruce Jenner and her sisters: “I just got my period today so I’m not pregnant this month and I’m really upset because I really tried really hard.”
*Lamenting not getting pregnant (again): “It’s, like, so frustrating. I’m exhausted and I think I’m just making this all about the wrong things. Like, I’m forcing it, so we just need relax. We just need to not stress it, not plan so much, and just go with the flow.”
Once you’ve naturally conceived and carried to term, isn’t it “easier” to get pregnant the second time? Or is it different for every woman? Anyway, I’ve already spent too much time thinking about Kim’s fertility, so let me just say: I GIVE UP. I believe her. I think she really is trying to get pregnant naturally and it’s driving her crazy that she can’t (so far). And yes, she needs to stop obsessing. I’m pretty sure that she got pregnant with North “accidentally” so maybe she and Yeezy just need to go on a vacation, with no cameras, and just relax and see where it goes. And then if that still doesn’t work, eh. Try IVF, I guess.

No way she is genuinely trying. Having sex every day, especially multiple times a day decreases sperm count and decreases odds of succes. Dr’s say sex every other day for optimal spermage. She should know that, especially if a Dr said she has fertility issues

Not that I can afford it but I wouldn’t mind using a surrogate, have one naturally and use a surrogate for additional pregnancies. It would save me a lot of body stretching, varicose vein, hemeroid and birth recovery issues. I wouldn’t lie about it though or make up an elaborate ruse. In her world though, things are different.

I agree, it’s all fake and for the cameras. I’d be surprised if Kim and Kanye have ever had sex. My friend has a client whose son works for a BIG designer in Europe – she told my friend that it is common knowledge in the European fashion circles that Kanye is gay and in a relationship with that Ricardo Tisci. This big show that they are having sex all the time just makes me even more convinced that North was conceived through IVF and that they are looking at surrogacy, IF they have another child at all.

No it’s not easier after the first. Secondary infertility is a common issue for a lot of women – it’s when you can’t conceive again after successfully having one child w/o problems

Had baby almost 3 years ago- so I go pregnant almost 4 years ago-
And it was so easy. Like first time we tried easy.
Now I’ve been trying for over a year and a half, had two miscarriages, tried acupuncture and still nothing 😔
And I’m getting up there in age now. Was 34 when I got pregnant first time, 35 at age of delivery. Now I’m 38 and will be 39 at delivery if I do get pregnant. The pressure and stress and hope and sadness…its A LOT and I try not to obsess but TICK TOCK TICK TOCK…
That’s not to say I believe Kim about anything.
But…yes this struggle is a real one for many.
I just wanted to say that it is a good sign that you have been able to get pregnant twice, even though they sadly ended in m/c. I was kind of in that situation. I had no trouble getting pregnant with my first two, in my late ’30s, although I also had a m/C’s during that time. It took me a year to get pg with my son (including 2 more m/c), but I did get pg naturally at 42 and had him at 43. I went to an RE, who did blood work and said that my issue was old eggs and that it only takes one good one. Best of luck to you.

Talk to your doctor about getting a full thyroid, adrenal, and hormonal panel done. Sometimes pregnancy can cause undiagnosed thyroid issues, and need more than just a T3 or T4 done. (Low thyroid can cause fertility issues or miscarriage.) There are some wonderful websites out there for research, such as Stop the Thyroid Madness which show what labs to get. Good luck!
I’m so sorry for your losses. Have you been able to see an RE? I have a similar path in that I was easily able to get pregnant the first time (miscarriage) and the second time, but my third and fourth pregnancies were also miscarriages. I recently saw an RE and there’s a chance I have a clotting disorder. We’re waiting on a second round of blood results. I’m crossing my fingers that this is the answer.
Came to say the same… secondary infertility is a real thing and it’s not talked about enough, IMO. I like to bag on the K Klan as much as anyone, but I can’t for this. Fertility issues I don’t mess around with.
Secondary infertility is more common than one would think, but it is also sometimes easier for a woman who was originally having infertility issues to get pregnant after carrying to term. Kim complained she was having infertility issues before, so it’s a little different than secondary infertility.
That being said, infertility is awful, & I’m sorry you ladies are going through it. I’m right there with ya (which is why I know a little more about infertility than the average person)
Both my sister and daughter had secondary infertility issues. Then sadly when they did conceive they miscarried (sister had 3 and daughter had 2). The good news is that they both eventually conceived and carried to term healthy babies. My sister even went on to have a delightful “oops” 3rd child because she just assumed she couldn’t conceive again. Hang in there ladies – there’s hope!
My first two kids were easily conceived. We wanted a third, but it just never happened.

I got pregnant the second month after we decided to have a baby with my first. The second ended up being an IVF baby after months with pills, three IUIs, three early miscarriages and we got lucky on the third IVF. Secondary infertility is very, very real. I’d love a third, but unless it just happens, it will never happen. I’ve had enough fertility treatments to last me forever.
Now Kim? Who knows what to believe. I have no problem believing that she just doesn’t want to have another baby herself. On the other hand, I hate to make fun of her, because I know it can happen.
She should be ashamed of herself. She went with Khloe and got checked and the doc told her she was good to go, but Khloe wasn’t ovulating. Then she got pregnant with North without any problems and absolutely hated her pregnancy. She never had real fertility problems. Just an act to excuse the use for a surrogate to save her vanity. I feel for all the women with fertility problems.
EDIT: Oh and I believe that they have lots of sex. Just doesn’t matter if you continue be on birth control secretly.

No that’s not true, there is something called secondary infertility. I will say I’m still on the fence about this though, I mean we know how much these people play to the cameras and the shows story lines. Also, when I was serious about getting pregnant my doctor gave me a calendar and we had to have sex every other day starting with cycle day 7 until cycle day 21 even knowing that my ovulation day was around day 14 or 15. Have these two honestly been around eachother for two weeks straight every single month since they supposedly started trying or is she just trying to have a lot of sex around the time the ovulation tests say to? I know I’m not the only one whose doctor uses that advice either.

Looks like one to me. There does not seem to be a good hairline at her forehead, just from the part, which looks like where all her hair is emanating from, not her head. Who knows with this chick, but that top photo really looks like a wig.

It’s not always easier the second time. There is actually some truth to the idea that sex closer to ovulation is more likely to produce a boy. Theory is that male sperm are faster swimmers but they die faster and aren’t as strong. Female sperm swim slower but are a little tougher so they last longer. Sex a day or two before you actually ovulate gives the female ones a ‘headstart’, so they’ll basically be the last ones standing when the egg is actually released. When my daughter was conceived we weren’t actually trying for a girl, but i’ve always tracked my periods anyway just because they’re so weird. I ovulated like two days beforehand and sure enough, got pregnant and it was a girl, so I actually somewhat believe that one.
I’m sorry to disagree but sex assignment happens much further along in development, sperm are just sperm, not male or female.

First of all her age is a factor. But that being said, I thought when Khloe was going through all her fertility issues Kim also talked to the doctor about her fertility and was told she had no problems. I believe she is going the surrogate route. She exaggerates do much you don’t know what to believe anymore. Saying she had sex 500 times a day is just way out there. And honestly, have they been in the same country much less the same room that often. Seems like they are always apart for some reason our another.
I’m sympathetic to anyone who has fertility problems. It would be devastating to me if i couldn’t get pregnant, because I had always known children were in my plans. I conceived so easily my first pregnancy and yet we’ve been trying for nearly a year for our second child. Our doctors tell us that this is very, very common.
My best friend went through secondary infertility. It was no joke. Happily she is now expecting via IVF. They tried for 2 years.
In one way if they are trying and conception is not happening then this is a sign someone is telling them no and that is a smart thing that the man upstairs is doing.

Funny enough. J-Lo came from Latino-hiphop culture (she was being helped/produced by rappers just as some of the most famous girls right now, the difference to me is that JLO’s body is a product of genes and exercise, and there was not so much photoshop as there is today in the Instagram image culture of today. Even Beyonce has followed to those photoshopping tricks, while I never see JLopez doing that, she does not seem to fall for it.
I’m sympathetic to anyone with infertility issues who really wants children. That has got to be so hard. In Kim’s case I’m calling BS. If she really wanted to get pregnant, she wouldn’t be botox’ing, bleaching, and shoving her face full of fillers. All that foreign matter has got to be causing an immune response, and as she already has one auto-immune disorder (psoriasis) she’s not doing her body any good by stressing it more.

She makes it sounds like she went to fertility dr to find out when she’s ovulating. You can buy a thermometer at any drugstore that will tell you that! Also, stressing about it doesn’t help, that’s for sure. Did she have any tests and procedures done at the fertility specialist? Any drugs? Any options? I mean, I can understand if she isn’t comfortable sharing those things, but it seems like she has boundaries about anything else so I’m surprised she didn’t go into that or give any reasons (albeit …maybe there is no physical reason).

Secondary infertility is absolutely a thing but I very much doubt that’s what’s happening to Kim. And laying down after sex is totally unnecessary and doesn’t help things along. Almost none of those “tricks” are actually helpful and a fertility doctor will be the first one to tell you that. And having sex often is important but quickies in the bathroom are silly and unnecessary unless there is no other time to fit it in that day. Once a day or once every other day gets women pregnant all the time. Hell, some women get pregnant when they have sex 5 whole days before ovulation. It’s like she read a pregnancy website and is just spouting shit from it.

Ovulation test kits are sold in stores over the counter just like pregnancy test kits. No need for a fertility specialist until you’ve been trying for a year or are over 35 years old. Too much sex, less viable sperm when the time is right.

I don’t know if it’s THAT shocking. People really share some intimate stuff these days. Here’s a fresh example: the other day my friend told me that they were at a bar with our mutual friends, talking about one of the girls’ vagina which, as she complained, was too small for her husband’s member so it hurt and she was going to see a doctor. I would never share something like that about myself. Someone else didn’t see a problem. I don’t think it’s the norm but it’s much more common than people might think.

There is such a thing as secondary infertility, just because a woman gets pregnant once does not make it a guarantee that she will get pregnant again. Kim K is an idiot who does very poor research in the field of infertility. I speak from my own experience and battle with it. Perhaps she is not able to read well.
I’d be more inclined to believe that she wants to do a surrogate pregnancy to avoid the pregnancy weight, except she seems to be getting pretty darn big all on her own. Of course, that could be IVF drugs which are hellish on the body.
Or, perhaps her life isn’t all she appears to make it. And she’s doing all she can to NOT get pregnant…. Like the birth control shot…
She doesn’t seem so happy, she surrounded by private jets, designer clothes, celebrities… But no longer is she the beautiful girl she once was. Deep down she may want out.

I don’t know how anyone could call for the fake story line, set up for her surrogacy. I just saw clips of the show, and it’s so contrived and fake. They always set up a couple of story lines for an episode and then out of the blue they are harping on it the whole episode Then you never see it mentioned again, whatever the issues is. The show has become more fake every year.
But this is a definite set-up for her using a surrogate. How anyone could watch that and come away believing she is really struggling to conceive is beyond gullible. All I see is bad acting.
I hate to be a Kardashian apologist, but for some people you don’t easily get pregnant a second time. I got pregnant on my wedding night with my son. I’ve been trying for 5 years and no luck. So it does happen, and it totally sucks.
Hate to sound like a broken record, but this is Kim the Pathological Liar. Kim lies repeatedly about anything and everything. She picked up all these myths about how to get pregnant and is working them in to her storyline. If she had a real fertility problem, she would be sitting down with the real named doctor with real verifiable credentials on camera and he or she would be saying real things to the camera. Her alleged tactics to get pregnant make no sense to anyone who knows anything about human reproduction. So no real doctor is giving her this alleged advice.
Poor Nori. She needs to run away from home NOW. Maybe she can enlist Uncle Rob’s help and hide out at Khloe’s with him until she turns 18. We could take bets on how long it would take Kim and Kanye to notice Nori was gone.

I’m just LOL’ing that my cable provider describes KUWTK as a documentary/drama. As if.
Guess they never heard the phrase “Over Kill ” they have pushed this “kim problem ” on every site and network media show they could buy time on…..Which is a sure sign that Kim is going for the surrogate baby…….and guess what I don’t care…..!!!! This baby will never happen if its another girl…….there will be a “miscarriage.” ….but if its a boy it will be all over the place and it will come out as white as Kim and she will be overjoyed it takes after her side of the family…..Joy Joy…..and over in Paris Riccardo will be handing out cigars…….with Kanye at his side…
I thought that doctor’s didn’t do IVF unless you had been trying for several years. Plus didn’t she admit that they had only been trying like 9 months? That seems to short a time to be considering it.
Maybe God is giving this b**otch a sign that she shouldn’t procreate? Just saying….there’s a reason she’s not getting pregnant. Who needs more of this f**ng family in this world? Noone.
