It’s hard to believe that it is still possible to see infant Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on syndicated episodes of Full House all over tv, when yesterday they finally turned legal. Yes that’s right boys and girls, no more underage drinking for these cats. The timing couldn’t be any better with the new “Lohan Law” supposedly being pushed. And does it seem weird to anyone but me that these two are older than Lindsay Lohan?! I guess she always has looked older to me, but I guess that’s what certain alternative lifestyles can lead to.

The girls were born June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, and spent an incredible 9 months paparazzi free before moving in with Danny Tanner. Over the years the twins have tried to make more of a separate identity for themselves, taking separate roles (MKate has been successful on the tv show Weeds, while Ashley’s her role in Factory Girls was cut for the final draft) and breaking out on their own ventures. However, these girls are still number one to each other, as they are happy to say frequently.

The past few days have showed paparazzi pictures of the two separately with little present bags in hand, perhaps a gift for the other? And what does one buy ones ridiculously rich twin sister? Jewels? Spa Certificates? Black stuff?

No word yet on what went down on last night’s special evening, but I’m sure it’ll be out sooner rather than later.

Update by Celebitchy: Rose is right, we do have news about what the Olsen twins did on their birthday. According to Page Six, they had a low-key celeb-free night with 10 friends at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. They were said to be drinking champagne and tipsy but low-key.
