Denise Richards visits Charlie Sheen’s new twins

If these two can find a way to bury the hatchet and get along, then maybe there is hope for peace in the Middle East. Long time enemies and former spouses Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen must have found a way to settle their differences, because Richards was seen visiting Sheen’s new twin boys with his new wife, Brooke Mueller, at the hospital last night.

How’s this for a shocker: Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife and onetime mortal enemy, visited Charlie’s newborn twins at the hospital last night … and he was there!

Denise and Charlie had one of the most vicious divorces ever, so allowing Richards past security is a big step — let alone allow her meet little Bob and Max.

Earlier in the week, Richards was asked for her reaction on the birth of the twins, and rather than launching into a tirade laced with words like “tranny-infested,” the newly demure Denise showed some new-found restraint and said that her two daughters, Sam and Lola, were very excited to meet their new brothers. Denise accompanied the girls to the hospital to see them without an ounce of drama. Could it be?

“The Insider” has Denise Richards’ reaction to ex-husband Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller Sheen’s new twin baby boys.

Denise spoke with Samantha Harris following her performance on “Dancing with the Stars,” saying she was on her way to take her daughters to see Charlie and Brooke’s new babies.

“They have brothers. They each picked their own,” Denise says of her daughters’ reaction to their new siblings.

The twins — named Bob and Max — were born Saturday night, a rep for the actor told “The Insider.”

Sheen already has three daughters — Sam, 5, and Lola, 3, with Denise — and 24-year-old Cassandra from a previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt.

Personally, I think it’s kind of crummy for reporters to ask Denise these questions. It’s right up there with reporters who feel compelled to ask Jennifer Aniston for a reaction everytime Brangelina adds another kid to their brood. Why should exes be expected to have a reaction- at least a public one. It has nothing to do with them! For once, Denise had a cool head and only gave her daughters’ reactions. It was also very mature of her to take the girls to meet their new brothers. Like I said, if these two can get along, anything is possible!

I doubt Charlie was anywhere around when she was in there…
But it must have been pretty awkward, I imagine Denise went into a waiting room somewhere

  2. Lem says:

guess hell has frozen over… congrats for acting like adults…let us hope this little nugget of gossip is true

  3. Grandizer says:

She was just checking out the competition, seeing if the boys were handsome…

  4. Annie says:

At some point, people DO need to grow up. Why not now?

Random: All these celebutwins makes me want a set.

  5. OXA says:

It is not Brooke or the twins fault that Charlie is an asshole. I think it was a good move on her part, ya dont want to piss of the other woman when your kids spend time with their dad and her.

  6. CiCi says:

Denise looks good! On another note, I bet she and Maksim will hook up.

  7. rbsesq says:

CiCi, if you watched DWTS Monday night and saw the way Maks tried to avoid all contact with Denise, there’s no way you’d make that comment. I have a feeling Denise isn’t going to last very long on the show because Maks is going to kill her.

  8. Chiara says:

Pay enough lawyers and therapists those hefty fees and discover it’s easier and less expensive to co-operate.

It’s what families do today 🙂

  9. Embee says:

    LOL Chiara – too true!

  10. Rio says:

If she actually acted like an adult, then good for her. Children have a right to know their half-siblings.
I do have to agree with Michael K on Dlisted, though: “Bob” is a HORRIBLE name for a baby. Please, please let his name really be “Robert” and they’re just saying it’s “Bob”. No child deserves to go through life named a nickname…especially frickin’ BOB.

Sometimes it takes another woman to bring the execs together. Maybe this is the case. Still not a fan of Denise.

  12. heh-heh says:

She looks hot. Bitch, homewrecker, Heidi-Fleiss rumors and all, she’s hot.

  13. grape says:

i don’t see anything wrong at all with the name bob.

i think that that is the only thing that i don’t see anything wrong with. lol

  14. Judy says:

Bob is a good name nothing wrong with it at all. Better then Apple and Zuma.
Good for Denise she actually showed some class for a change and I hope Charlie did too. The kids will be spending time with their step mother and the twins and there needs to be a relationship of some kind between step mom and mom.

  15. Di says:

Bravo. It is SOOOOOO important for these blended families to find a way to come together. I think it’s terrible when people can’t meet their siblings/half-sibilngs just because the parents can’t work things out. Brothers and sisters should be allowed to be together and love each other, even if they have different moms or dads.

I actually believe in shared hollidays and a lot of time together.

  16. CB Rawks says:

Max Sheen is weird. Sound like a cleaning agent, or a Private Dick. Or a space cowboy.

Bob is lame for formal events like weddings. “I, BOB”

  17. Rio says:

“Bob is a good name nothing wrong with it at all. Better then Apple and Zuma.”

For the record, I think Apple and Zuma are awful names as well. My problem with “Bob” is that it is a diminutive– the nickname for “Robert”.
Naming anyone a diminutive of a full name irritates me– it’s a personal pet peeve. Don’t mind me. For example, as much as I like Mariska Hargitay’s name, naming someone “Mariska” bugs me as it’s a diminutive of “Maria”. Nicknames rock, as long as they’re kept nicknames and not given names.
    Your incredibly OCD commentator,
    Rio
(who seriously has considered Ruth and Alice af future children’s names…)

good names, better than pretencious zuma
