Lindsay has… issues, to say the least, but with family like that, who needs enemies?
Once again I feel bad for Lindsay. Sometimes she’s such an ingrate and a brat that I lose all pity for her… then I’m inevitably reminded of where she came from and the family she STILL has to deal with, and I feel bad for her again.
Completley cutting Dina off for the rest of her life would be a good, healthy move. Probably the best thing she could ever do for herself. But cutting off your mother, especially one that raised you with so much fear of others and us-against-them mentality, is very hard. She would need a clear mind and lots of support. I don’t think she has either of those things right now .

Anybody who leaves anything at Dina’s house and thinks it’s safe is stupid. I watched the Millionaire Match Maker and she said she lives part-time in London. Then I read gossip that she and Lindsay are fighting because the latter doesn’t want Dina to live in the same country. And now Dina is selling Lindsay’s stuff?
It still makes me sad to see what a shambles Lindsay’s life is. She was such a talented little girl and I still get teary when her version of the Parent Trap movie. lol But she really was a good actress and it just got all mucked up early on for her. Her family is such a wreck. I cannot imagine having Dina and Michael Lohan as parents.
I’ve told my children anything left in the house is gone when I start cleaning. Now if I think it is something they may want, I ask first. But Lindsay should have gotten all the stuff out of her mother’s house before she left for London. Her mother’s house is not for storing Lindsay’s things.
Oh come on. That’s a rule I understand for normal families – my mom handled it quite similarly when I moved out. But Lindsay has been supporting / paying for everything her mom wanted ever since she was a little child. Coupled with all the (alleged, but very much possible) abuse that she’s witnessed/ herself has been suffering from, I don’t think what WO is doing is right.
If Lindsay doesn’t want Dina to sell it or throw it out then maybe instead of partying and doing nothing in England, she should come back and move her stuff into storage. While selling the things should not be done, it is not Dina’s obligation to keep it until Lindsay decides to get it out of her house .
Getting rid of stuff and selling it for profit may come from two entirely different fields of thought.

The few glimpses of Lindsay’s home life showed that she favours really, high end labels. In one glimpse, she had at least several birkins for example. A sale of just a few such items would bring in serious money depending on their condition.
I, myself have often thought that Lindsay could have made a huge dent in some of her debts by selling off some of the bags that she carries. (Dina as well.) the fact that they’ve never don this suggest to me that they’re fakes?

I honestly thought that title was going to read “Dina Lohan is going to sell all of Lindsay Lohan’s internal organs because that’s the only part of her daughter she hasn’t exploited yet.” Mess that she is, I still say poor Lindsay.
I agree with you 100% Shambles. Who would any of us be with Dina and Michael Lohan as parents? I have said this numerous times on this site and been attacked for being blind to what a mess Lindsay is. However, she is still very young. It took me nearly 10 years of psychotherapy to deal with the crap my parents did and it does not come close to what Lindsay has had to deal with. Here’s hoping she eventually gets the real help she needs to carry on with her life in a healthy way.

That’s basically what I thought by reading the headline “possessions.” Crack pipes, bongs, needles…
Lindsay might be a lot better off if weed was her drug of choice. But alcohol and cocaine don’t show up in the simpler tests after a short period. Usually takes about 3 days to clear metabolites from cocaine down to a non-detectable level, which is why she risked it while being tested every week on random days. She miscalculated and tested positive, not too wise when just two weeks out of jail followed by forced inpatient rehab and then on probation and outpatient rehab. Yes, she lasted only two weeks after release. This was back when she had tried to claim her dog ate or stole her passport and a volcano made her miss her mandatory probation hearing, where she went for the rescheduled hearing with FU (spelled out) painted on a nail that she kept waggling at the unamused judge who decided a little jail time was appropriate for her repeated refusal to take a few Drunk Ed courses on the mandatory schedule. Oh, she had been fitted with a scram bracelet before the hearing and that reported alcohol use at one point, which she explained as someone spilling a drink on her at some function. Memories. Such an adorable little scamp.

Maybe Lindsay is okay with Dina selling her stuff. She has huge gobs of things she’s bought and never worn/used. They can’t all have sentimental value. Dina has talked about selling it for years – I remember this being discussed when Lindsay was still in LA and spending much of her time in various courtrooms, getting to know all the local judges. Lindsay does seem in better shape since her last court-ordered rehab, so maybe she’s finally ready to let go of the stuff (although it didn’t seem so during Oprah’s awful Lohanomentary).
So is Dina going to use the proceeds from the sale of Lindsay’s things to make mortgage payments? Because I can see Lindsay refusing to help next time Dina falls behind in payments
