Was there ever any doubt? He’s a terrible f*cking person.

    RIP Odin Lloyd

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      +1

So sad. Buzzfeed article said Odin’s mother said she forgave everyone involved in killing her son. I don’t think I could do that.

      • Kitten says:

        She’s such an incredible woman.

      • Giddy says:

My heart ached for Odin’s mother when she said that he was the best gift she ever received. She talked about never getting to dance at his wedding and said that the day she laid Odin to rest her heart stopped beating, and yet she is still forgiving.

      • Kiddo says:

I don’t think I could either, but the point about forgiving is sometimes letting go so that the anger or hatred doesn’t eat you alive. I don’t think it’s all about saying everything is square and copacetic.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Oh, totally agree, Kiddo. I think it’s the best thing for you to forgive. I just am afraid I might let the hate and anger eat me alive. I don’t know if I would have the strength to do what she did.

      • Mispronounced Name Dropper says:

        Me either.

      • Ava says:

Nobody can forgive such awful things. We as humans would like to but its just not true! Just words!

      • sherlockapple says:

The strength it would take to even utter those words is immense. I am not so pure at heart that I could forgive someone who killed my son or my daughter; however, the world is a better place because people like Odin’s mom exist.

        RIP Odin.

        @ GoodNamesAllTaken

As they say… “let go or be dragged”.

      • Dana m says:

About 10 years ago, some f-ing nutcase murdered my uncle. My uncle and I were very close. I still cannot forgive the a-hole who changed my family’s life forever. I can’t do it. Maybe with time. I’m just not there yet.

I admire Odin’s mother for being such a strong and capable person. Going through the trial brings back bad memories and brings on high anxiety. The trial made me hate my uncle’s killer even more. It takes a very selfless individual to be able to forgive. Perhaps this helps her with the grieving and allows her to move on. Good for her.

    • AJ says:

I was afraid it would be a hung jury since they had been deliberating for so long.
I hated his smug face througout the trial then mouthing “you got it wrong” to the jury. What a d*ck.

      • msmlnp says:

He’ll need that tight end in prison.

Such talent and still chooses the thug life. What a waste of flesh.

      • lily says:

I didn’t notice that. Disgusting. I did however see the intimidating look that said I got your face locked in my brain and one day…..

      • Neil says:

        msmlnp

Don’t kid yourself. He’s no eighteen year-old doing time for pot. He’s an ass, he’s athletic, he’s violent and last but not least he’ll have “cred” on “the inside” because he’s a methodical killer and because he’s an NFL football/celebrity. Better you should be concerned for that eighteen year-old.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I agree 100%. Horrible person…and an idiot as well.

      • Miss Melissa says:

What a moron. Seriously, maybe the dumbest person on earth. He had the American Dream and threw it all away to be a gangsta.

Thank God the jury convicted him.

    • lucy2 says:

The little bit I read about the case, it seemed pretty cut and dried.
Are they still pursuing him for other crimes/murders? I remember there was suspicion about him being involved in others.
The victim’s mother is stronger than I could ever be. I don’t know if I could ever forgive something so horrible.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Yes, Lucy2, he goes on trial for a double murder this summer

      • Senaber says:

An article I read said that he would probably plea bargain the other cases for sentences to run concurrently. I don’t see the point in prosecuting those other crimes unless they think he has a case for an appeal.

    • Lilacflowers says:

And his second trial for the murder of two others starts this summer.

Will college bestie Tim Tebow visit him?

  2. Abbott says:

Juice is having a bebeh! I accept that.

I missed the RHOBH reunion finale. Anyone watch? Was it off the chain?

  3. Kiddo says:

Where’s Tater? I believe it’s AnnE Denim Hathaway Wednesday.

  4. Senaber says:

Damn Luke Evans should definitely have been cast as beast. Dude is sex-ay.

  5. Rhiley says:

I wonder if the picture of Chris Pratt was taken when he was flying back from Florida after competing in a Iron Man 1/2 which is pretty awesome. His time was respectable as well. I like how he does fitness.

  6. Josie says:

Justified finale was amazing and so fitting. The last scene made me cry.

    • lucy2 says:

Me too! I held it together for the whole episode, which was fantastic, but at the last scene, a single solitary tear slipped down my cheek, like Chris Pine at the Oscars…
I am desperately going to miss that show, but I love how they ended it, and that they got to write the ending the show deserved.

      • VirgiliaCoriolanus says:

I still have “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive” stuck in my head! That should’ve been the theme song. “Justified” was one of the best tv shows I think I’ll have ever seen in my entire life. The first season was perfection.

      • lucy2 says:

I like that it was sort of their unofficial theme song. I loved the line Boyd said about “the only way to leave Harlan alive is to never be born there.”
Second season remains my favorite, but the whole series is wonderful, right behind Breaking Bad in my Best Show Ever list.

  7. morc says:

That’s a trek I wouldn’t do with infants. At least but without a day break in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Dubai or wherever.

I also would fly that trip private, if had the money I’d only travel with my family, not strangers.

    • dr mantis toboggan says:

I wonder if they were in first class? Imagine paying $10,000 to put up with that

      • morc says:

I mean, while I don’t think 1st class passengers should be exempt from kiddies, I’d be pretty pissed if I spend 10k$ to spend 14h in a small cabin with screaming infants.
That’s why I would have flown private or booked the whole cabin, maybe they flew without much notice.
Private plane would have been more relaxing I think.

    • **sighs** says:

30 hours is way too long a trip for about anyone under the age of 6. They just can’t sit still for that long. You would need a day break so where in there.

  8. meme says:

Hernandez will be a hero in prison. He’s got nothing to worry about except of course he’s spending the rest of his life there if his appeal doesn’t work out. and he will appeal.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Appeals on Murder 1 here are pretty much automatic. He’s a gang member so rival gamgs won’t consider him heroic

    • Senaber says:

Yeah sounds like he will be in his element in prison for sure. He will probably have a blast acting like the godfather of convicted felons.

      • Tiffany says:

But considering high profile this was, would they put him in general population. That is just a mass riot waiting to happen.

      • Lilacflowers says:

He will not be in general population; the state can’t risk that liability. He also won’t stay in the prison he is currently in so all the news media hype that he’s going to spend the rest of his life just 2 miles from the stadium is nonsense. He’s just there for orientation and then they’ll move him to a maximum security prison elsewhere in the state.

  9. Stephanie says:

Does anyone know what’s going on with Bobbi Kristina Brown? Did I miss a post on that somewhere?

    • snowflake says:

last i saw, there was an article on yahoo a day or two ago that mentioned her dad doing a concert and that it was the first time he’s left her side since she was put in a medically induced coma. i was left with the impression she was still in the coma. I would like a post on that too

  10. Ana says:

OMG how lucky do you have to be to catch a Buckingham Palace Guard falling? If I had been there the next thing I would have done, is buy a lottery ticket.

P.S. It does suck a bit for him though…

  11. Miss M says:

Love drunk Chris Evans, but I have a secondhand embarrassment at the same time, lol

  12. mfkmm says:

Rudd’s hot, I kinda want to see Ant Man….

I’ve watched way worse movies cause there was a hot guy in it.

    • VirgiliaCoriolanus says:

You and me have the same one track mind. I watched “The A Team” because Liam Neeson was in it. And was smoking a cigar (find it gross in real life, but on tv? Bring it!)…..and that’s about it.

    • PrincessMe says:

OMG, I thought I was the only one who wanted to watch it (at least, here). I wasn’t really interested at first because it seemed like a weird super hero concept. BUT, the trailer convinced me – I like that there’s some comedy interspersed.

  13. Smurphy says:

Drunk Chris Evans is my favourite Chris Evans (as long as he has the beard).

  14. Fatty Magoo says:

What a waste of talent. Such a Damn shame he would’ve rather been a thug then have a long and successful career.

  15. jc126 says:

He’s a total idiot. He could’ve played ball with Tom Brady for millions of dollars, but chose to be a killer instead. Probably repeatedly.
