Charlie Sheen’s always had a bit of a problem with women. Whether it was paying too much for them (thanks Heidi Fleiss!) or treating ex-wife Denise Richards to an all-out divorce war played out in the media, one thing was always clear: Charlie’s not a prince. But because he can be charming and Denise is just as crazy as he is, it’s easy to forget that. Especially when he married a seemingly nice, cute woman and they got pregnant with twins right away. But it sounds like Charlie’s jerkish tendencies are still very much alive, and at risk of ruining his third marriage.
Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller are having, ahem, “problems.” Last month it was reported that after Brooke was hospitalized due to complications from her pregnancy, Charlie — who was in Las Vegas at the time — didn’t even fly back to L.A. to be with her. Brooke gave birth to twins on Saturday and Charlie barely made it to the hospital in time for the delivery. From TheMediaBuffet.com:
Sheen wasn’t to be seen the entire Saturday while Mueller checked in with the help of an assistant. Charlie was a no show. He has not been seen spending much time at Saint John’s Hospital but has managed to attend the delivery even though Brooke arrived to the hospital alone. It became especially tense, sources say, this weekend, when the couple’s arguing prohibited friends from visiting.
“Brooke won’t put up with Charlie’s berating much longer,” says the source. “This pregnancy has been especially rough on Mueller,” say insiders. “She has gotten some life saving support from her mom and close friends.”

Well let’s be honest, gambling in Vegas IS pretty important. It’s definitely on par with a kid being born. Depending on the stakes, it might be as important as your twins’ birth. Some would say Brooke should have known what kind of guy Charlie is, but I can’t help but feel badly for her regardless. Somehow I did think his asshole behavior was due mostly to his specific issues with Denise Richards. I think because he talked so much about his kids, it made it easier to forget his past bad behavior.
If this is true, then it sounds like Sheen really is a unique kind of selfish. I cannot stand his trite, clichéd, cheesy-ass show. I have no idea why it constantly does so well in the ratings. For most celebs, I’d doubt that their reputation could take another serious hit. But with Charlie Sheen, the public doesn’t seem to mind. Another divorce scandal probably won’t make a difference. Except to his family.

Anyway, too bad for Brooke, at least with Denise, Charlie was on his best behavior for a year or two, this time around it sounds like he went back to his dick-ful ways right after the wedding.
charlie has issues with women that get pregnant. he doesn’t find the whole “leaking mommy” sexy. he was cool with brooke before she got pregnant, then once that happened that’s when the problems started. memo to women getting involved with charlie sheen, don’t get pregnant if you want to be with him for any length of time.
I never thought Denise was crazy, I had a feeling it was him … when (not if) this marriage falls apart, Denise will be vindicated and he’ll pull the same media stunts he did before!! He’s a jerk, always has been always will be.
yeah, I’m one of the ones who believes that this woman knew what she was getting into here…….at least she can get out now, collect alimony and child support, and maybe a reality show???

Why would any SANE woman be with Charlie Sheen? Brooke Mueller doesn’t seem like a dummy so she had to have known what she was getting into by marrying Charlie Sheen. Therefore, I can’t feel too sorry for her. eternalcanadi, I think you’re right – I think Charlie has a problem with women once they get pregnant. (Maybe a mommy complex like Elvis had?)
Although I hate Charlie, I think “Two and Half Men” is hilarious and it seems that the show parallels his life – maybe a bit too closely.
During my marriage to an abusive husband, I had a “friend” who saw it all and in whom I confided. When the husband and I finally split for good, this “friend” started dating him, to my shock and horror. When he beat her up she had the nerve to come running to ME, of all people, to cry about it. When I asked if she remembered all the hell I had been through with the guy, she said: “Yeah, but I didn’t think he would do it to me.” That, my friends, is dumbass in a nutshell. I didn’t tell her that I was seriously considering kicking her ass myself; 1) for being so stupid, and 2) for dating my ex. Thankfully, she moved away and I’ve never seen her again. This relates to Charlie Sheen’s current wife, somehow.
It’s like there are two sides to him – one who wants to be a husband/parent and the other who wants to be a player/gigolo/professional gambler. I can’t see those two sides reckoning in any way. His issues are monumental.
Dixiegirl – you’re being kind saying you see two sides to him. I see only one, and it’s not the hubby/daddy side…he’s so good at playing his TV character because he IS his TV character – I’d be awesome playing me, too!
Their girls ALWAYS look so sad. It breaks my heart to see the idiotic games people play with each other in divorce, you can SEE how it affects these kids. sad.
Remember the reports of them fighting so badly on the honeymoon? Twins will only add to that..PEOPLE..babies don’t make things easier. That’s not how it works.
Maybe Brooke can move in w/ Denise. Then Charlie can just drop off checks in one place instead of making 2 trips

Why is anyone showing surprised at Charlie Sheen being a raging a-hole?
He’s always been a jackass, in almost every facet of life (habits, marriages, anger mgmt issues, conspiracy theorizing about the govt, ETC). Charlie is completely self serving and likes to fall in love with women, but not endure daily life with them. When he meets a new one, I’m sure he truly believes that “this time is IT.”
I have no doubt that he and Brooke will split up sooner rather than later. It probably won’t be a media war as Brooke doesn’t seem to have the same type of personality as Denise. And then the cycle will being all over again.
As far as his show, I used to love it and now it’s just the same, tired old thing week after week. I can’t wait til it’s cancelled.
And Jess – maybe Brooke wanted to have kids for herself because she wanted to be a mother. Sigh.
He would prefer a hooker but it’s not so easy now…what a revolting man he is and now there are two more unfortunate children to add to the mix.

Two and half men is a satire. That is why it is popular. These men are not role models; they are caricatures of dysfunctional male behavior. The characters and their behavior is not intended to be likeable.
that show is hysterical. brooke should’ve known. after all it is charlie sheen.
He’s certainly not likeable on his show, OR in real life. I saw an interview with him, might’ve been Barbara Walters, right after the Heidi Fleiss prostitution story broke. His body language and the way he acted was screaming BS; the man could not sit still, exhibited secretive behavior, fiddled around covering his mouth, wouldn’t answer questions straight, and denial. He seems calm and focused when he’s acting, and he’s a decent actor. But in the interview, totally different energy. He was all over the place, could not focus, and couldn’t really string a sentence together without being defensive. Like he was on permanent cocaine. Really rubbed me the wrong way.
Then right after that he took up with Denise and bang, had two kids right away. I just knew it would end in heartache. Unfortunately it did. 🙁

His hair looks so strange in the front – got to be a hair piece of some kind.
What I notice about the above photo is how incrediably SAD his two daughters look-especially the little one sucking her thumb with a blankie. That screams childhood insecurity! Those poor girls! Any off spring of his is bound to be unhappy. Why doesn’t Charlie do everyone a favor and get his junk Snipped and Clipped once and for all so no more kids have to suffer for having him as a father!!!

Either way, it’s not the brightest decision to have children with him, given his history. But another well-known blunder that women make is that they think they can change their partners. WRONG!
Those little girls look incredibly withdrawn and depressed. I read he screams at the older one and ignores the younger one. He also left abominable emails/phone messages to Denise Richards, calling her a pig, a c-nt, and a n-gger. What absolute trash he is. Of course, he thinks the women are the problem and changes partners regularly, producing more children destined to be withdrawn/depressed around him. He’s got the self-insight of a gnat, though, so will doubtless produce many more unhappy families.

I thought this one would of been different,but why am I not surprised? However, I still think Denise is three bags of crazy!
Two women who knew who Charlie Sheen was prior to getting involved with him. Two women who got pregnant right away. Will anyone even consider the possibility that maybe these women are money hungry and were in it for the money from the start. Child support from someone like Sheen is probably more in one year than most use to support their kids during their lifetime. Who turned the divorce into a media circus? Denise. Hopefully the next wife will have a bit more class.
