According to Us Weekly, Tom Hiddleston is dating Elizabeth Olsen. I know, it seems kind of random, right? Olsen and Hiddles have known each other for a while, and they worked together last year on I Saw the Light – he plays Hank Williams and she plays Hank’s wife Audrey Mae Williams. So… I’m guessing they hooked up on set?
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s sister Elizabeth Olsen has a new man in her life! The Avengers star has been getting cozy with her costar Tom Hiddleston, a source tell Us Weekly.
“They have been hooking up,” the insider tells Us of the longtime friends, who become close while shooting upcoming movie musical I Saw the Light, in which they play husband and wife.
“It’s casual,” the insider says, adding that the two won’t be rushing into titles anytime soon, but they do make sure to “text when they’re apart.”
And the timing for Hiddleston, 34, couldn’t be more perfect, considering Olsen, 26, called off her engagement to Boyd Holbrook this past January.
“She wants to make a new life for herself,” the source says. “She’s having fun.”
Hiddleston was previously linked to record producer Jane Arthy.
What I’m getting from this is that Hiddles is a homewrecker. Olsen was engaged to Boyd Holbrook while she and Hiddles were working on ISTL. So if they did start hooking up during the film shoot, Hiddles broke up an engagement. Huh. Anyway, I have my doubts that this is still an ongoing thing, just because he’s been filming The Night Manager all over the place and she’s been promoting Age of Ultron all over the place and they haven’t been in the same city at the same time that much. But sure, I’ll buy that they were hooking up and they’ve left the door open for more hooking up in the future. I’ll also buy that Hiddles is a homewrecker.

Actually, I would think a little less of him for it. No free pass here because of his gender. He’s still an amazing actor, but while most of it would be on her (IF this is true) since she was the one who was engaged, he’s a grown man and knows better – how would he like it if the shoe was on the other foot?

I was engaged to a guy, we had been togother a few years. One night I went out with my girlfriends and one of them had her guy neighbors tag along. I had this crazy attraction to one of them. Not a superficial “wow he is hot”kind of thing but an “I would like to get to know this person better plus jump his bones”. I did absolutely nothing that night other than talk as a group. BUT it did make me realize that I was not ready to settle down and get married. So I broke of my engagement. When my friends neighbor found out, he asked me out. So I went for fun. And we had a great time dating and just having fun for awhile and then I moved on. A lot of people thought that there was cheating and overlap but honestly there wasn’t.
I refuse to believe he is anything less than perfect. (Denial is powerful, y’all)

Apparently, I’m hooking up with my married gay co-worker because we text constantly. If it’s true, may they be happy. Although he had three months earlier in the year when he wasn’t doing much work, other than the book on tape version of High-Rise, which took a week, and reading at various events like Attenborough’s memorial service and whatshisface wedding, and yet, he didn’t travel to see her.

By this I mean after the ISTL shooting finished. Also she just broke up with the fiancé right after. Hmmm. I know he’s working hard, but the overt silence helps fuel speculation.

@kara I guess I said that wrong. What I mean is that you can been seen about without having to publicly gush or talk about it.
Well speaking from experience, I found it better to keep things on the QT until I was sure of what exactly I/we wanted. I met Mr Lindy in work and no one knew about anything until we were about 6 months together, it makes things a lot easier and if things don’t work/fizzle out or if it’s just a casual thing you don’t have to worry about everyone knowing your business.
I’d imagine it’s the same for a lot of celebs who just see people casually, granted if he turns around and announces he’s engaged in a month then we’ll all be shrugging.
Nothing like the discomfort of people asking how things are going with soandso when he dumped you after three dates. Really is best to keep quiet until y ou now where things stand.

In my early twenties I was in a serious relationship that was essentially over but it simply hadn’t been verbalized yet. I saw other people, there was some overlap, but nobody’s heart was broken, there was no scandal, there was no crying, we just kind of grew apart. We didn’t break up because I was seeing someone else, I just started seeing someone else because I knew it was over. It wasn’t a happy time by any means but no one felt particularly burned, we were just sad that we couldn’t make it work.

I really hate when people do the whole “well, it’s Hollywood, so…” For God’s sake, not every actor/actress does cocaine while humping a co-star. It’s not the norm and this is coming from someone who works in the industry. The gossip/PR mill is large in Hollywood. Take everything you hear or read with the largest grain of salt.

The competition is big this year for the actors, this film was purchased by Sony, so there’s potential. A good buzz about the actors is always good.

Crocuta, campaigning can start anywhere from one year to six months before the telecast. The flick got picked up by Sony in April, so there should be already a plan in place by now.

Because every year, hundreds of actors are thrown into “for your consideration” roaster for the Oscars. Look it up, it’s online. We of course don’t know if these two will get there because there’s no product to consider yet, but to hell with that, yes?

Oscar-potential flick for UsWeekly? The only people who at the moment link I Saw The Light with Oscars are people on Hiddleston-friendly pages. The movie hasn’t come out yet, we don’t know the date of release (it should be set soon, I hope), we of course have not heard a single critic saying anything. As far as we know, it could be a total disaster. That’s why I feel it’s “a bit” early to speculate about an Oscar campaign NOW.
Like I said, if this applies to these two, it has to apply to ALL actors who go into new romances during a year of releasing a film.
I’m not saying it’s impossible it’s PR. I don’t know. Or perhaps they were spotted together as friends and somebody made up this story because Olsen is popular ATM and this is click-bait. Or perhaps it’s all true. Who knows? But my god it’s early to have predictions for I Saw The Light.

Why would this have to be a mandatory rule across the board? There are many ways to market a film and its stars. Fake relationships are just one way and it is easy to do this day and age of internet where the speculation can keep going with very little activity by the actors themselves.
Maybe they are a real casual relationship, maybe he is putting it out there like he may have done in the past, or maybe there is something else going on with someone else. Or maybe a studio is trying out a tried and true method for an actor who hasn’t publicly been linked to someone in a while and why not pair him up with a costar. Don’t over rule anything here. This industry is all about the show and the bottom line.

All I know is that I am reminded yet again of how glad I am not to be in Hollywood. I like my romance to be free of PR considerations and my man with me at home evenings and weekends. I wouldn’t want to be involved with someone who’s gone 3/4 of the year and surrounded by women who want to get him into bed. The downsides of fame alone would be enough to send me over the edge.

Big distributors like Sony normally only buy small indie movies like that for awards potential. They would have seen a cut before purchase.
@Kate(2) –SPC (Sony Picture Classics) ONLY distributes small indie movies. That’s what they do. They were the distributor for OLLA (as well as Austenland, among many others.) So, no, they aren’t only selecting movies purely for awards potential.

@Crocuta, it is far, far too early, but that hasn’t stopped industry-focused blogs and websites from speculating. I think I saw a potential Oscar list for 2016 one day after the 2015 ceremony. None of the films or performances that are being buzzed about have been released yet, at most there are a few trailers finally starting to be seen. I don’t want to jinx it (there is such a thing as peaking too early) but it’s not only Tom fans that are abuzz about I Saw the Light.

My own guess is that any nominations for ISTL are a super long shot at best (which is true of most films, even the very, very good ones). Having Sony Classics on board is an excellent sign. They have a very good track record running successful award campaigns for their films.

Apparently, Tumblr lost it’s collective sh*t. That’s the last they’ve been papped together. Since he’s not been seen or attached to anyone else, her name still gets brought up.

A commenter at the time (@Sixer, was it you?) remarked that Jane sure can take a good picture…and everyone laughed and laughed since they hadn’t been seen together in months. A few days later the restaurant photo surfaced and it turned out she was actually there and probably did take that photo. My God, the mayhem that ensued. Those were good times – here’s to Jane!

@Josa–SPEAK it, sister! Seriously, this has been my take entirely. IF the ‘source’ is a deliberate pr stunt, it makes waaay more sense to connect it with a present situation than the not-yet-set vague future release (probably months from now) of his movie.
Someone (you? Lilacflowers?) pointed out that Tom/Luke took all of the heat for the JChastain rumour, when SHE was the one in an Oscar race. But Tom never gets a pass when it comes to pr, he (or Luke) is always the obvious ‘culprit’.
Why would Chastian’s camp have started the rumor? You just wrote she was in the Oscar race so why start a rumor with an actor that isn’t really on the radar yet? She wasn’t even assigned to work his at the time either. His camp also set up those paparazzi shots of him walking around Toronto while he was filming Crimson Peak. So it is believable his camp would start this current rumor. Why would Olsen’s camp do it? She’s actually IN the #1 movie in the world, he isn’t.
Both Chastain and Olsen are more well-known than Tom in the US atm. That’s how you know it’s his PR, since their PR would pair them off with someone with a higher profile.

And most places repeating the story (which, at this point, are legion, are connecting it FAR more to Avengers/Thor/Age of Ultron than to IStL. ETOnline even manages to tie it into their video from AoU set visits!
What is the PR reason behind tying her to Renner? And isn’t it a PR improvement to tie her to feminist and “good guy” Hiddleston instead of the worst of the offenders?
And being the number one movie is all well and good and expected…doing 10-20% less domestically over the first week than the first movie is NOT.
And I don’t want to hear about “sporting events”–NBA playoffs, the Kentucky Derby, AND a Floyd Mayweather PPV fight were ALL occurring during the first Avenger’s opening weekend as well..

TotallyBiased, Marvel would have just plugged Age of Ultron, which isn’t even specifically mentioned by title. It doesn’t even give their Marvel roles.
It does, however, tell us what ISTL is and their roles in it, and that blurb is getting picked up everywhere. Great advert for ISTL with Marvel as a draw.
Basically, if it was Marvel, they wouldn’t be giving out the most information about a movie they’ve got nothing to do with.

Do me a favor, go type up “Elizabeth Olsen walking” on Google image and see how many different kinds of her walking around the streets pap shots you can find. Just the past week, DM has 2 articles of her walking around. So limit your search to a time frame or you won’t have enough fingers and toes to count. I’m sure you are going to tell me, because she is so famous, much more well-known than Tom that she got papped, it has nothing to do with her PR, whatever. There’s always people who can find way to excuse other celebrities for getting papped, but Tom is the only one who ever called the paps ever, he’s only been papped like twice in the past 3 years but surely his PR is the most notorious according to you.
If US Weekly didn’t mention ISTL, the story will be debunked in 2 secs. It’s been widely reported that Tom spent a weekend filming his part thanks to Idris. That’s during the period when he’s filming High-Rise so it’s not like he has time to hang around at the AOU set while he’s not needed. His scene is in Asgard, with Thor and Heimdall and the rest of the Asgardians. People would just start questioning how the 2 met if it didn’t seem they had to work together in AOU. To make the story more credible, they have to spend time, hence ISTL as the perfect backdrop. But don’t let this little important detail get in the way, must insist the article mentioned ISTL therefore it’s PR for that film.
@CA –y’all have some serious confirmation bias! You know the movie’s title is Avengers: Age of Ultron–so the US Weekly article, short as it is, gets in two references to the Marvel movie and one to IStL. Which is kind of a necessary connection anyway because it’s the only time they’ve actually filmed together.
A quick survey of Google front page, using terms Hiddleston Olsen (order doesn’t matter) gives eleven stories, including the US Weekly ‘exclusive’. Ten of those display the Marvel reference in their headline, leadline, or both. The exception, DListed, makes two Marvel references and one IStL reference. #factshakes

I go back and forth on this one, since I have no real knowledge about it anyway…
On the one hand, it could just be a silly rumor, put out there to stir up fans and get his name in the press. Then I saw the similarities between Cumby’s gf rumors that started last April and kept the chatter up before the sudden engagement announcement. Is this a rumor or romance being used for early ISTL promo? I hope not.
Then I thought, well he’s a charming and charismatic guy and she may have been going through a rough patch with her fiancee during filming, so working close together, something may have sparked. The quote doesn’t say when they hooked up, but it’s certainly plausible that they acted on a mutual attraction at some point. during or after filming. For ethics sake, I would hope it was after the breakup. He was laying low in London for a few months after filming, so who knows, maybe he was spending time with her before Avengers / Night Manager took over.
I can’t see it as being anything but casual if they’re living on different continents and working a lot, but don’t have any issues with it. People want connection and it’s hard to have a serious relationship when you travel as much as he does. He’s going to get close to his co-stars after working with them for months, so perhaps there is some truth to it.
It’s possible they are casual. Anything is possible, even him dating others. And those sightings are just that, sightings that may or may not be true. We don’t really know for sure, but if they see that there is a market for this story, it’s going to run.
With Tom, most things are hearsay. He gets a lot of quiet whispers about his life, but Us Weekly seems to want to change that.
I’m just glad to see a little romance gossip around here, it was getting a little boring. I mostly like the idea of them as a couple, but I don’t think it could be anything more than casual, they’ve barely been on the same continent at the same time in the last six months. Now if she just happens to be spotted in Morocco (or wherever else Tom might be filming), that’s when I’ll really get excited. @Lilac, you should probably send Colin to the store just in case, we’re gonna need provisions, i.e. booze and popcorn.

As for US Weekly, Elizabeth is the more widely known person here. Olsens translate to clicks and money more than Tom does.

I think those Cumberbatch SGF rumours from last April, were just an attempt at clicks. They article said his SGF Was someone with quite a serious career who was outside of the entertainment industry. Since SH is a “theatre director/singer/actress” I’d say she was within the same industry as he is. I think it was just a coincidence that she went from being a long time acquaintance he was casually dating and/or hooking up with, to “unintentionally fertilized” (LOL) in such short order. I doubt there was a lot of planning involved, at least on his part.

Abby, I got a twitter handle for following events that I can’t watch on my screens, like races or BAFTAs. The only entertainment industry person I followed was Joss Whedon and now he’s off. I find Instagram the easiest social media site to manage since I just scroll through pretty pictures of mountain beauties.

I don’t believe this for one minute. I just don’t understand these actors, is there Something wrong with dating someone who is not a celebrity?
I understand to find that one who you want to spend your rest of your life with is hard to do with a commoner but they are people who wants to be “famous ” who are Golddiggers. Now I am not saying that these two are not after for their money or fame, they did pretty well with that but, dating actors is bad enoght, but dating your co-star is recipe of disaster.

This has PR written all over it. It is a classic promotions move to generate interest for “I Saw the Light” and I think the reference to a “casual” relationship is PR to cover up that they’ve been involved since last fall.

It’s not odd in light of Cumby’s timetable last year with the sgf rumors in the spring and his relationship being a hot topic all through his Oscar campaign.
Luke didn’t issue a statement after the Chastain rumor came out, so I doubt he’ll do it this time. Probably thinks any romance news is good PR for his client. The more they let people think they’re a couple it will generate more interest in the movie.

absolutely not, i have many friends who have been together for 20 years and have created homes without laws or children. And many that cannot get married because of their sexual orientation. That is not what defines a home or a family. What i meant is that this isn’t the 17th century and it,s like she bethroved or Something. She is 26 with a rising career. Big deal if she cut off her engagement. If she really was married, lawyers would have to get involved and if there were children that would be painful. So some twentysomethings decided to call it a day, so what. And I would not call the 3rd party a homewrecker.

Skull Island is happening this summer. Actually, it is supposed to start this month or next.
I read production was starting later this month in Hawaii.
I’ve said in other posts that Skull Island won’t be starting in May, despite the one report that seemed to spread like gospel online. I’m betting on August for a start date, which makes more sense. Besides, if the director is posting on Instagram in real time, they are still doing pre-production scouting (or whatever you want to call it). He and a small team have been in Vietnam the last week or so. Once filming starts I doubt he’ll have time to post very much.
I have no idea when filming is planned -but it is now on the website unless it is a fake-I must admit i struggle to see him as Richard 11 but the only Richard 11’s I have seen are wimpy Richard’s

Though I don’t get why some of you are saying that it’s not “homewrecking” because it was her engagement or that there weren’t any kids yet. For example, people *still* talk about Jolie “wrecking” the Pitt/Aniston marriage, even though (1) Jolie wasn’t the one married and (2) Pitt and Aniston had no kids. This (if true) doesn’t seem much different.

To me it’s pretty much the same thing, except that the couple hasn’t signed a license and had a big party. It’s an indication of commitment.
Engagement implies that fidelity is expected. You’re intending to bind yourself to the other person for life. To me, it’s cheating if a couple is dating exclusively, even if they’re not engaged.
No one is claiming that EO cheated on her fiancee but if she did, then both her and Tom are responsible since it takes two to tango. The seeds of romance may have been planted during filming and after the breakup they got together for reals. But it’s Hollywood and fidelity isn’t the norm, so who knows. I don’t assume that Tom’s incapable of being one half of a cheating couple, but I’ll hope he’s better than that until proven wrong.

A committed relationship is a committed relationship. The marriage license is just a piece of paper. But this hasn’t stopped anyone in Hollywood from cheating and otherwise behaving badly. I could make a long, long, long list of actors and actresses who were “home wreckers,” including Tilda Swinton, whose partner Sandro broke up with his long time girlfriend by email.
All that said, it takes two to tango, and you can’t “steal” a person. Relationships are participatory. Maybe EO’s relationship was on a long downward spiral, and hooking up was a convenient excuse to break loose. I’d chalk it all up to immaturity. I hope everyone involved can do better.

I don’t know. I could see Hiddles with someone outside his class if she interests him. He doesn’t come off as being as class-conscious and driven to be seen with the right people as Bendy is. I think the problem is that he doesn’t get the opportunities to meet and get to know the normal chicks — y’know the schoolteachers, nurses, therapists etc — the ones that have their own thing going on, but aren’t so busy they can’t be there for him when he’s home.
Arthy had a thriving career of her own and having worked for a small record label, I saw how busy the marketing and promotions people were. I’m sure it’s even more so working for a big label like Warner. She wouldn’t have a typical 9-5 schedule and would be doing a lot of travel in her position as a radio promoter. I suspect their own busy schedules made any serious relationship impossible.

I could see him with a smart, savvy busineswoman like RDJ’s wife. It doesn’t really matter what she does really, just that she’s got her own career and an identity apart from being his SO. She’d need a lot of confidence and very thick skin to be attached to someone as popular with the ladies as Tom.
A lot of people who are in the dating game post college meet people through work or industry events (less glamorous conferences and such for those not in show biz). In my own circle of friends (none of whom work in the entertainment industry) I know several happily married couples who are in the same field or a closely relayed one. It’s also not unusual to see doctor/doctor couples. I think it has to do more with those are the people that they meet and with whom they have things in common than specially not wanting to date a “commoner.”
Similarly, most of my friends and acquaintances seemed to have married within their own socioeconomic class, whether they were from Midwest blue collar (although both were working in white collar professions on the east coast at the time) or from fairly wealthy East coast families. As one of the pair from the Midwest born couple explained “he gets all my cultural references; I don’t have to explain everything to him.” Certainly not the only reason they got married, probably not within the top 5, but it added a certain comfort level. Granted I also know a married couple who are not from similar backgrounds in any way (different races, family backgrounds, educational levels) who are the best co-partners, both within their own relationship and as parents of two toddlers, so i’m not saying that couples from the same background work best, just that it’s not uncommon, even outside of the entertainment industry and/or people from the upper-middle or higher socioeconomic groups.

TH dated KD, someone who wasn’t posh or British, (the HORROR) so there is that. BC may or may not have dated Lydia Hearst, but she’s the American equivalent of posh, if that’s even possible, since she is an heiress. BC seems very preoccupied with appearances and diemonstrating his sense of inferiority. TH has NOTHING to feel inferior about. 😉

Her most recent “work” prior to her big reveal as BC’s fiancé in November, was a series of car adverts where she had no lines, just OTT pantomimes as she “face acted.” After the announcement, complete with a new and improved, completely overhauled CV, and she’s suddenly “theatre director, SH” whenever mentioned, well pregnant fiancé and pregnant wife get mentioned often, too, but you get my meaning.

Nighty, in response to your comment above… I have a hard time picturing him with a nurse or teacher too. Perhaps it was the caretaker type of personality I was zeroing in on. Based solely on his public persona, I’d thinking a strong woman who will take care of him and whose career won’t outshine his.
But, if I was a betting woman, I’d put money down on someone posh or wealthy, who is somehow tied to the acting world. Maybe not a fellow actor, but someone behind the scenes, like a screenwriter or producer.
As long as we’re playing ‘pick the SO’ for the Tom-ster, how about someone whose career is more or less mobile – as in someone who can work anywhere there’s a decent internet connection. I just can’t visualize any relationship flourishing if one person is away for months at a time while the other has to stay behind to be in the classroom or office. Maybe if he had serious down time between projects, but at most there has only been a few days or weeks before he jets off to another gig.
I’m ok with wealthy and maybe even posh, as long as that doesn’t translate to status-conscious and snooty. But Tom strikes me as a bit of a contrarian, he seems to enjoy doing what is least expected, so part of me hopes that carries over to his choice of life-partner.
I worked at Sony Music and had no life outside of work. Basically worked from Monday to Monday, from 9 to sometimes 1 AM. You have to attend events, shows, junkets, promotional tours, etc. it’s exhausting and fun at the same time. But my personal relationships suffered and I even broke up with a guy I was casually dating.
Didn’t we all talk about this possibility last year when they were filming? I’m just surprised it took the gossip magazines this long to write it up.

She’s lovely. I’ll confess I haven’t seen any movie she’s been in (yet), and probably only know who she is because of her sisters, and being cast in I Saw the Light. I appreciate that she doesn’t quite cater to all the ‘young Hollywood starlet’ expectations – she looks and acts very much like a normal (albeit beautiful) girl, and I mean that in the best way. She seems to know who she is and doesn’t try to be anything else just to get attention.

I have no opinion on the whole Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen thing. What’s weird to me is that most gossip sites that went with the story are describing it as a hook-up (one site went with the charmingly juvenile “doing it”!). It may well describe the nature of their relationship (if they even have one outside of colleagues/showbiz friends), but I don’t recall ever seeing this before. Usually it’s “so and so are dating” or “are so and so in a relationship?” Even if the hapless pair are just chatting to each other at an event.
I also loved the added detail about how “they make sure to text each other when they’re apart.” Must be true love then.
I’m expecting a swift confirmation of a relationship or a denial because this is way too disrespectful.

If they are dating, start the ISTL buzz by saying it’s casual and later on confirm it one way or another (in an interview or with papped pictures). By November, they’ll be a RC couple promoting an Oscar-baity film and when the awards season’s over, they’ll likely go their separate ways.
If they’re not dating, then they’ll keep quiet and let the chatter work to their advantage with generating ISTL interest. Either way, it’s a PR win.

@MtnRunner, Your points are valid, but I think that Bea and I are reacting to the terminology “hooking up” and “doing it” in the headlines, which even in this more sexually enlightened times suggests a degree of shade or disrespect that I haven’t seen (or at least hadn’t noticed) in gossip “outings” of other celebrity pairings, regardless of whether there was any truth to the rumors. I’d imagine that *if* anyone would make a statement it would be Elizabeth’s people because unfair as it may be, she’s the one whose going to get the most negative flack about being labeled a “hook up.” Describing them as casually dating may essentially mean the same thing but it’s more judgement neutral (to me at least).
That being said, no comment and hoping either that it goes away, or if not that it adds to rather than detracts from interest in ISTL, is probably the best course of action.

I just watched the recent Graham Norton with her, Ruffalo and Renner and I would put my money on her currently hooking up with Renner- lots of chemistry, eye contact, casual touching for no reason. At one point they all laughed and Renner fell over across her legs and his hands where on her thighs and lingered there for longer than necessary. I’ll admit I watched her a little closer than I would have before I read this rumor yesterday lol. She came off to me as very vanilla, a bit empty, not much personality. Tom could do better.

EO will be filming Capt Amer 3 in Atlanta. TH will be in the UK until he heads out for Skull. Texting to keep in touch sounds right. The rest of it, not so much. Us Weekly wins eyeballs but no journalism awards on thiis one.
They’re friends, possibly with benefits. No different than any other female friend he has. I won’t buy they’re anything more than that without a statement to that effect or some very convincing pap photos.

@MtnRunner @Browniecakes NM is still shooting in Morocco, but I think they finish there this week and then on to Mallorca. Maybe more shooting in UK, but I’m not sure. I read somewhere filming would run to July – and I suspect Skull Island will be shortly after that, into October/November.
Not sure how big EO’s role is in CA: CW, so she might not be needed for the whole shoot. There will be a break for Comic-Con for Tom to promote CP, and then I suspect both will be in Toronto for TIFF in September, and various premieres through the end of the year. Should be interesting to watch this play out.
And it wouldn’t surprise me if this is also partly to push Elizabeth for a possible awards mention, too… Just a nice reminder that she’s in this movie (the Felicity Jones/Keira Knightley aspect – though I’d rather see a nod for Cherry Jones if others are being talked about at all). The Olsen family has been playing the PR game for several decades now and with bad buzz on the twins over the past few weeks, with them claiming to be unaware of their show being revived and John Stamos calling them on it, it wouldn’t be surprising if a decision was made to deflect away from the onto Elizabeth.
As for Cherry Jones, I’m really hoping she does get recognition. She is a force and her role is really baity.

I’m coming around to the idea it’s from EO’s camp (possibly incited by the Marvel/Buena Vista machine) because they did the Scarlet Witch/Hawkeye hooking up thing and then realized what a VERY poor choice he was (and looking worse all the time.) Quick scan for a single Marvel guy close at hand who had spent enough time with her for this to be even possible, with an image good enough to erase the bad taste left by Renner.
Of course, TH and EO COULD also be totally hooking up. The two ideas aren’t mutually exclusive. 🙂
