Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at the Cannes Lions festival on Wednesday. Her Beetlejuice suit is Balmain and while it’s not super-flattering, I like that Kim understands that at least she needs to wear vertical stripes. Kanye West did a talk at the festival last year, so it’s Kim’s turn this year. She’s been in the South of France for much of the week, and something really crazy happened to her on Tuesday night – a naked drunk lady pounded on the door of her hotel room demanding to be let in. Kim tweeted about it yesterday:
Thanks to the drunk naked woman banging on my door I have been up since 4 am! I’m so sleepy now but have to work! It’s gonna be a long day! I took a fun video of her as a reminder of why I never tolerated drinking 2 much! Slob kabob! I won’t post it but it’s funny! She thought her Amex was my room key lol. I think she’s staying at my hotel she just had the wrong room # I hope I run into her today
Kim also chatted about the incident at her Cannes Lions discussion, saying that the woman wasn’t so much knocking as “banging and kicking.” Since it was 4 am, Kim said, “I screamed profanities at her and told her to put some clothes on and get off my door, but she kept using her AmEx as the key. She had no idea it was my room.” That’s really crazy.
Anyway, Kim’s discussion was really about the future of social media and her mobile video game, which is still making crazy money.
About her game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood: “The game is you just want to make it in Hollywood, you want to make it to the A-list and get as many fans and followers and cool wardrobes as possible … we really mirror my real life, and make it in real time…I wouldn’t say it was risky, but it was new territory for me to go into the gaming space … I had just had my daughter and I just wasn’t sure I really wanted to be working this much, and I wanted to be sure I could give it 100 percent. It was actually my husband that talked me into it, he loves video games.”
Social media: “I don’t have a strategy, and I don’t have a team doing it for me, I am not knocking anyone else that does that, but I don’t find it to be authentic, if you are talking about personal things and sharing personal photos, but you are having someone else do that for you… My Myspace page just resurfaced and it was pretty embarrassing, I called myself a princess.”
Her current social media strategy: “You just have to be authentic. There’s nothing more than I can’t stand is when Instagram becomes very promotional. I know a lot of my brands get frustrated that I don’t promote as much as they would like, but I only do it if it’s authentic, if I genuinely love it. I have really stayed true to myself on Instagram — maybe too many bikini selfies for some people, but it’s what I want.”
Women in gaming: “Gaming is typically a men’s world, most of the games are male-driven, so I feel excited we brought a female fan base to the gaming and to the tech world, and I hope that this brings other opportunities for women in this field.”
Call me Kaiser Kardashian, but I really don’t have a problem with anything she says here. I mean, what we always say about Kim is true: she’s a self-centered, vapid narcissist. But she’s really not trying to convince people she’s anything but that. And she’s figured out a way to become a very rich woman because of her vapid narcissism. So… sure. Let her talk about social media and stuff.

The drunk thing has happened to me before. When I was in New Orleans, some drunk thought my room was his and then peed outside the door. Awful. Got my room changed after that….
The question is: did it really happen to Kim? She has a habit of appropriating other people’s stories. She lies so much, it’s really hard to tell if she says such things because they happened or because someone on her team decided it would make a good story to fill the time in an interview.
Her face gets like, extra weird whenever she’s pregnant. It is mesmerizing…
I actually think she looks prettier than she has in a long time here! Pregnancy suits her.
Good god who wrote those answers for her? We all know she has a “team” that does everything for her. The woman can’t string a sentence together without them. The only thing this woman is “world class” at is telling one lie after the other. Shameful.
IKR? I tried reading them in her sex kitten voice and they didn’t sound so smart then. She’s just reading an expertly written script.
Who’s still believing these lies of hers? She has a team for everything. Not only business wise but also for clothing, hair, makeup, child care, housekeeping, cooking. She does nothing herself except cash the cheques. She even has her mother think up new money-making schemes like this video game and marrying her third husband. She’s a delusional liar. God’ sake, Ugh. She’s an embarrassment to and makes a mockery of accomplished women everywhere. And for God’s sake, hem those pants. She supposedly has a tailor on the payroll.
Her face doesn’t look so bad here. Plastic sure, but I’ve seen worse pictures of her.

Who pays who? Do newspapers really get paid by celebrities to feature them because the DM is absolutely obsessed or do the Kardashians receive payment to be featured even when they fart.
I think the Kardashians must have some sort of deal with the Daily Mail. Every day there are articles and articles of the Kardashians doing the only thing they know how to do, taking photos and having others take photos of them. There are photos of Kris and Kylie posing in front of Daily Mail banners in yesterday, obviously plugging for them, DM probably paid their way over in exchange for the whoring out of their company.
Is that material, fuzzy? Those stripes seem very fuzzy and full. It actually looks like chenille.
She really has the worst fashion sense, I have ever seen (and I’ve worked at Walmart and seen some things, man)! I love the “I didn’t know if I wanted to work this hard” as if, she were the one designing and making this video game. I’m sure her participation was, signing a contract and collecting a check!
She is in such denial that she is not a six foot amazon who can pull of the stuff she wears. I can see why major designers don’t want to dress her, she is a complete disaster.
The brains behind Kim and the rest of the Kardashians is Kris Jenner. I doubt very much Kim and the others would be as popular and infecting pop culture as much if Kris had not been there to hustle and promote them. I loathe Kris but she is a savvy business woman.
Yes Kris is really behind all the success. Kim just does what her mom tells her to do. Even with the game. The company came to her and ask her to use her name, likeness, and voice. What “work” did she really do? The credit for the success of that game should not go to her. Just like everything else she’s ever done, she just shows up and gets paid. It is others that do all the work.
About the naked lady knocking on her hotel room door…was she being racist? You know because it’s been a while since we’ve had Kim talk about racism and how she’s going to rid the world of it. LOL remember that?

Her pants and ususally the sleeves on her jackets/coats (can’t tell on this one because, of course, she is wearing it on her shoulders as she normally does) are ALWAYS to long. Which makes me wonder if the clothes are on loan to her and have to be taken up too much and can’t be taken up for fear of when the clothes are returned no one else could wear them. Just a theory.

Short girls want to believe, it gives the illusion of longer legs. Then they will add ridiculous high platforms, with 5 inches of material of their pants, covering them up.

SO. NOT. PREGNANT. But, I’m sure her surrogate looks lovely and glowing. Kim “should be” well into her second trimester by now (16 weeks along). On her second pregnancy, and someone who is naturally “rounder” and not lean/sinewy, she “should be” (again in quotes) easily showing by now. Cue a slightly larger “bump” in about 2-3 weeks and then watch the Beyoncé unfold.
If you see pictures of her on the Daily Mail she has a bump.It is small but it is there.Her hips are spreading already.
How did she know the woman was naked? It doesn’t sound as though the door was opened. Could she take a video through a peephole? How did she know it was an Amex card?
Oh, Kim – you didn’t open up new gaming territory for women. The game had been very successful for at least a year before you attached your name and face to it. It’s successful because it’s a good game of its genre, not because of you. They just issued a new edition with your cartoon image, that’s all. Sure, they were hoping your younger fans would bite and open up their wallets, but they were doing well without you. Must admit cartoon Kim looks much better than realspace Kim, though. It’s a freemium game, meaning free to download and play but if you’re impatient, you can easily blow your entertainment budget on in-app purchases. It’s not hard to drop hundreds of dollars or more on such a game, especially when competing with friends. The patient players can progress without putting a dime in Kim’s pocket, however.
And do we really believe that Kim is not into promotion???? When has she ever not been promoting products non-stop, up to the monthly limit for what she will be paid to do? She is a walking billboard. She always promotes herself and anything anyone will pay for on social media. That’s an important part of what she does (or pays other people to do in her name).

Exactly. Not to mention her security detail would have never just let some woman bang on the door for any period of time , even if that period of time was less than 5 minutes. I can bet this happened to someone on her staff and she “stole” the story and shared it as her own.

Also no mention of Kanye. Was he supposed to be with her? Or is he somewhere else at the moment? Someone was kicking her door and she didn’t call hotel security if her own was off for the night? There are always too many holes in her stories. Telling the truth is so much easier.
Her ensemble is so dark and heavy and sombre ! She thinks she’s so sophisticated but it’s awful. Why she never tried to put on some fresh outfit ? Light colors and light materials that doesn’t squeeze her and brings summer and feminity ?!
I’m just glad we only saw photos from the front. Those stripes from behind, stretched to their limits…
