Bristol Palin’s ex-fiancé threw a temper tantrum: what’s really happening here?

dakota3

There are really only two scenarios for How Bristol Palin Got Knocked Up Again. Scenario #1: she had sex with her then-fiancé Dakota Meyer and maybe she used contraception and it failed, or maybe she didn’t use anything and predictably got knocked up. This scenario also involves the fact that IF she’s carrying Dakota’s baby, then he’s pretty much already a deadbeat dad who is not involved whatsoever. Scenario #2: Bristol had sex with an as-yet-unidentified man who is not Dakota Meyer and that sex and pregnancy is sort of the reason why the wedding and engagement was called off. I really don’t see any other scenario. Both are pretty bad. Scenario #1 makes Dakota look like a douche and Scenario #2 makes Bristol look like a trashy hypocrite living in a glass house.

So that’s where we are now. Radar claims that Dakota is definitely the daddy, but it’s Radar and I think they’re just guessing. And here’s the newest wrinkle: Dakota threw a pissy hissy fit on his Facebook in which he TOTALLY blasts all of us for paying attention to the wrong things. You guys are about to get TOLD.

Within the past 24 hours there have been three terrorist style attacks across the world. There has been an incident at a US company owned gas factory in Lyon, France Leaving one dead and two injured. Another incident in Tunisia with 28 people lost in an assault on a west tourist, mostly British. And finally, a blast at a Shiite mosque in Kuwait.

All ISIS/ISIL attacks and all overshadowed by the dog and pony show being put on here domestically by some politicians and mass media. The news that feeds the “inquiring mind want to know” is inconsequential compared to that which is truly relevant but lost on the back page. I urge you to go beyond what is spoon fed to you and see what is truly going on out there. ‪#‎NeverOutgunned‬ ‪#‎DakotaMeyer0317‬

[From Facebook]

These types of arguments are always stupid. Of course there’s always something awful happening in the world. Within the same 24 hours, there were awful terrorist attacks, SCOTUS made marriage equality happen in all 50 states, SCOTUS upheld the ACA, SCOTUS upheld the Fair Housing Act, President Obama took us all to church in Charleston AND a hypocritical a—hole announced her second unwed pregnancy. We can care about all of it all at once. And if there’s one thing that makes someone look bad/guilty, it’s making a false equivalency argument. How dare you care about Josh Duggar molesting his siblings? Don’t you know ISIL is killing people? How dare you care about marriage equality, don’t you know that there’s a refugee crisis?!?! Dakota is so basic.

Meanwhile, do you remember how Bristol grifted hard for hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote “abstinence” on behalf of the Candie’s Foundation? HAHAHA. It’s true. Well, Candie’s released a statement about Bristol’s second pregnancy: “In 2011, when she was just 19, Bristol Palin was enormously helpful to The Candie’s Foundation in our mission to educate teenagers about the devastating consequences of teen pregnancy. Her courage, while still a teen herself, to admit her mistakes so publicly in an effort to help others was remarkably brave. Today, at 24, we can only offer our support to Bristol and her family and respect her request for privacy.” That’s another thing that’s pissing me off – I’ll only respect her privacy when she respects everyone else’s privacy. She’s a judgy, holier-than-thou wingnut spreading her mother’s brand of judgy, delusional faux-conservative “family values” and I love that it’s blown up in her face.

Deflection fail. And I love that it’s blown up in her face, too. I feel sorry for the baby, but other than that, hahahahaha.

    • Kiddo says:

Hmm, Where’s Sarah? Did she write this bit of ‘outrage’ for him? And on what planet were the ISIS attacks overshadowed by Bristol’s announcement? PLANET EGOMANIACAL NAVEL GAZING? Just because THEY don’t read any news, doesn’t mean that no one else does.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Really. The second I heard about Bristol, ISIS became so unimportant. I mean, it’s BRISTOL. She’s the center of my world.

      • Kiddo says:

LMAO. I’m right there with you. And thank goodness we have this latest update from the dumpling (he looks sort of dumpling doughy in the head, in the photo, to me), to keep us informed and on track. Well not on Track, he probably has his own incoherent ramblings.

      • Annie says:

Sarah is so angry she cannot even come up with her own sanctimonious post. When the wedding was cancelled, there she was, type, type, type. Making the announcement, acting above people. But now? Silent. She is not happy about this. And it’s because she didn’t know at the time Bristol did something to make this guy end it all just days before. A pregnancy by someone else. Sarah was not informed, hence the “I disappointed everyone.”

This pregnancy announcement is ridden with bitterness and guilt. Which would not be necessary, if the pregnancy wasn’t seen as a mistake. Why a mistake? Because Bristol made a mistake. She cheated “hard to keep my chin up on this one.” What man dumps his engaged gf days before the wedding for carrying his child?! None!!

      • Kiddo says:

They had to know something ahead of time if they were brawling, no? Or was that after?

      • Bridget says:

@annie: don’t forget how Sarah still went to the cancelled wedding and tried to glad hand. I’m guessing Bristol cheated and didn’t tell Sarah that’s why the wedding was cancelled.

I’m so glad I can concentrate on this stuff and not ISIL. Did you know I can only think about one thing at a time?

      • Jayna says:

@Annie, what makes you think it was Dakota that called off the wedding? It just as easily could have been Bristol that called off the wedding.

I agree that Sarah is furious over all of this (whatever the scenario is), and it appears she and Bristol are on the outs right now.

      • Bridget says:

@jayna: I think the fact that Dakota hasn’t said anything publicly about the baby is very telling. For a guy that supposedly has aspirations to run for public office, leaving the mother of your child in the lurch would look pretty bad – no mention of stepping up to take care of his child or anything like that.

      • minx says:

I couldn’t wait to come to CB and read the latest posts about the Palins’ hypocrisy on this whole situation! Delicious.

      • The other paige says:

Forget the younger hypocrite-Is no one seeing that orange umpah tan on sarah and those ridiculous veneers??

    • Alex says:

I love when people court public attention whine about it when it doesn’t suit them to have the spotlight. The Palins are a bunch of hypocrites that want to rail against sin and whatever but none of the grandkids were born in wedlock and they are super trash. Palin continues to spout political garbage when she quit her job as a governor.

Hypocrites all of them. And karma is amazing

      • Lucy2 says:

Yes! If you want privacy, be a private person. Don’t share every photo or dumb thought that flickers through your head, and don’t try to build a career publicly telling others how to live their lives. It’s really quite easy.

      • FLORC says:

        Alex
Hypocrites might be too nice. I doubt at times they’re even wise enough to know they’re acting against their own message.

        Lucy2
I agree. She’s trying to close the flood gates that she opened.

      • Birdix says:

isn’t it remarkable how often the people carrying on about certain behavior is actually doing exactly what they say not to? i.e. the televangelists preaching about greed while lining their pockets, the politicians yelling about homosexuality who are closeted gay, and the Palins pontificating about premarital sex while popping out babies unmarried. Must be exhausting to always put on such a facade.

      • P.J. says:

Agreed @Alex. As the saying goes: “Don’t invite the press the the wedding and expect them not to show up to the divorce.” (Both literally and figuritively.)

  2. NewWester says:

A simple ” No comment” or ” this is a personal matter between myself and Bristol” would have been sufficient in most cases. But, the fact Bristol never mentioned Dakota’s name when she announced her pregnancy and Dakota does not even mention the pregnancy or Bristol is rather strange. I think another shoe is about to drop kick some crap into a fan. That shoe will belong to another guy

  3. Pedro45 says:

WTF? Bristol announced it herself. It wasn’t a case of that “gotcha” journalism always plaguing the poor, beleaguered Palins.

    • RobN says:

Well, she kind of had to, didn’t she? The funny thing about being pregnant is that you continue to get bigger and then you have to explain there being another member of the family. Somebody’s going to talk, you think old Levi is going to keep his mouth shut, or nobody in Wasilla is going to call a tabloid? So you announce it first and get it out there in a way that you can at least semi-control.

He is right, though, in that the attention paid to this has been completely over the top. It’s really only vaguely interesting at best, but CNN had it headlined over the escaped murderer story. That’s just crazy.

  4. Hautie says:

I am very disappointed in TMZ not paying enough money, to get that story online.

As in… tell exactly what provoked the called off wedding. And if her brand new pregnancy had something to do with it.

But what truly surprises me… is that no one has sold Bristol out yet. Seriously. How has no one spilled the beans on this, is stunning. Cause you know, those weekly tabloids out there flashing cash to get it.

    • kacy says:

They probably haven’t come up with enough to beat the Palin family’s quiet money…

    • Annie says:

That’s why she blogged about it first and beat people to the punch. The story is about come out full force, hence the “I don’t want lectures.”

And of course that guy is not the father. What man would cancel a wedding that has been planned for a while because the bride is pregnant? The plan was to marry, start a family, have a life together. They are adults. What man would not want to marry his pregnant girlfriend especially when they were already engaged and almost getting married? What prompts a wedding to be cancelled just DAYS before?
The wording of Bristol’s announcement says it all “I disappointed everyone.” Why? For being an engaged woman who got pregnant so soon around the wedding day? She’s 24 years old. You keep that to yourself and get married, then say you got pregnant on the honeymoon. No story here.

But she was dumped for a reason. And they’re anticipating a shitstorm for it. She cheated and got pregnant with someone else’s kid. Nothing else makes sense. Why would a man so ready to marry her would cancel everything just because she’s already carrying his child? No. Sense. At all.

      • Don't kill me I'm French says:

        Same idea

      • Lucy2 says:

I think you are completely right. If it was his child, they would’ve gotten married and then claimed the baby arrived early or something.

      • Lori says:

I thought dude was still legally married to his first wife?

      • GingerCrunch says:

RIGHT!!?!?! This guy is a Medal of Honor winner, lest we forget! What more could Sarah Palin have hoped for than a grandchild fathered by this dude? It’s a shame, cuz he and Bristol seem VERY well-suited for each other. But still…
        HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

      • Hope says:

        Agreed Annie, everything you said.

I’m going to laugh myself onto the floor though if the real baby daddy is a “professional snowmobile” driver. How is that a thing?

      • minx says:

Exactly. He is not the father, no way.
He would look terrible if he dumped her and she was pregnant with his child. They would get married and maybe divorce later, but they would still get married.
That Bristol is a busy girl.

    • Birdix says:

I’m sure Sarah would have pressured her to get married if this guy was the father. But how would they know that he wasn’t? Seems too early to know for sure.

      • Gen says:

Not too early to know if maybe he was trying to be a gentleman and actually wait until they got married. I know that is rare, but possible. They would certainly know in that case.

      • Birdix says:

I’m not sure that gentleman = waiting, but yes, you have a good point.

    • Julaine says:

A note for Lori’s question in regards to Dakota Meyer and his marital history.

In 2008, he married Cassandra Wain, he was 19. They met in Hawaii where he was based and she was visiting. Whirlwind courtship and quick marriage followed by his 3rd overseas deployment. Supposedly the bride bailed when she realized he was experiencing PTSD and she was homesick. Unfortunately this is a common scenario for young enlisted military men. He went on to being awarded the Medal of Honor in 2009 and subsequently divorced the following year. The rumor that he was still married seemed to arise out of the fact that he appeared to scrub this short marriage from his records/writings. When news surfaced in May of this year about his 1st marriage a friend of Cassandra made public comments along the lines of “tell the truth Dakota, Cassie doesn’t deserve to be involved in your mess.” The implication was that even though they had moved on to other partners that Dakota’s past connection to her was creating problems in her current life.

Nothing about this short marriage that ended years before should have had any affect on the Palin/Meyer planned marriage unless there is a whole lot more to this story than what appears on the surface.

  5. GPSB says:

It’s a shame they didn’t get married because these two dolts *really* belong together.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Sometimes you “just know” right? Lol

    • kibbles says:

Dakota seems much more accomplished than Bristol. Even though he might be ignorant in terms of his ideology and beliefs, he won the Medal of Honor and his writing is okay. He’s certainly more accomplished than Levi. I think he can do much better than Bristol. The only incentive for Dakota to marry Bristol is that she is from a wealthy and well-known family which might have helped him make a name for himself with conservatives if he wanted to run for politics someday.

      • GPSB says:

You might want to take a gander at the photo posted downthread, of Dakota “smoking” a pipe, cradling his sword (no pun intended) and faux-reading. He’s as empty a shell as the Palins and its no wonder their universes collided.

      • Kiddo says:

GPSB, he’s like a fully formed SNL parody skit. An unintentional proponent.

      • Belle Epoch says:

Dakota has been a lying liar for awhile:

“As a reminder, here is Dakota’s big lie again, from his book: He claims that in summer 2009 the team leader was the only married man on his team, while Dakota himself only divorced from his wife in March 2010, as his lawyer now confirmed. Dakota Meyer did not mention his marriage with Cassandra Wain at all, neither in his book, nor anywhere else.”

      • KarenJ503 says:

Actually, Levi Johnston has proven to be quite a good catch for his wife Sunny. He’s gainfully employed as an electrician and they’re in the process of buying a house, not with money grifted from a fan club or political PAC like some other folks…
Yes, Sunny was pregnant with their first child when they got married, but Sunny apparently doesn’t have parents with shady mafia-like pasts. And now the Johnstons have another little girl baby, and they seem quite happy minding their own business and staying out of public view.

(how do I know this? Sunny’s Facebook is public, which she’s explained is so because she wants to stand up for and by her man, to counter all the nasty comments that seem to accompany TMZ or Radar Online stories about the Palins)

      • FLORC says:

        Karen
As long as Levi isn’t profiting from scams or his family’s once or current illegal dealings he’s fine. And far better off living under the pap radar and far from the Palin”s dinner table.

  6. daisyfly says:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: dude is NOT the father. It’s why Sarah attended the cancelled wedding hoedown but not Bristle; she had to save face for the family and make sure they all signed NDAs.

$5 says the REAL father is Levi.

    • daisyfly says:

AAAAAAND I’ll bet dollars to donuts that he knew she was cheating because she told him no kitty until they were married and then *poof* she’s knocked up. Bristle isn’t the sharpest light bulb in the crayon box so this is the ONLY likely scenario, here.

    • Lori says:

At least Levi was cute. This guy’s teeth freak me out! He could be on Justified.

      • GingerCrunch says:

Noticed that too, and felt a little bad about myself.

      • KarenJ503 says:

If you look at his Instagram pictures, there’s one of him lying down in the dentist’s chair (another selfie). I imagine he was getting the full veneer treatment. A lot of people with crooked, stained, cavity-filled teeth do that when they come into a little money.

      • Maria says:

        Yep!

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

In case you’ve all forgotten, Bristol accused Levi of raping her while she was under the influence of alcohol at a camping party years after her pregnancy so she could absolve herself of any responsibility and make a quick buck off of her “memoir.” I am never, ever a woman to roll my eyes dismissively at a rape allegation, but that one made me want to throw my boot through the computer screen. If he’s the daddy, these are officially the dumbest and most convoluted people out there. I doubt he is.

      • BearcatLawyer says:

I am beginning to wonder if Bristol herself knows exactly who the baby daddy is. It is Alaska, after all. Men significantly outnumber women there, and lots of guys probably want to see how “abstinent” she really is.

Well, I guess we know the answer to that question: not abstaining at all!

      • embertine says:

Bearcat, I have also wondered at time if her crappy sex education means she actually does not know how babies are made, and therefore doesn’t know who the father is because she can’t identify which particular act creates a child.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

      Joey Junker—> http://theimmoralminority.blogspot.com/2015/06/bristol-palin-announces-that-shes.html

I don’t think Levi would touch her with a 10 foot pole, based on the wringer they put him through with the the first two.

    • K says:

Isn’t Levi supposedly happily married to someone else, with at least 2 kids born into the marriage (and conceived after the wedding, too)? I remember that, because the Palins tried so hard to make out he was the problem and not Bristol. Which given their respective current track records… um, yeah.

  7. inthekitchen says:

He should really be mad at his baby momma then because SHE is the one who started this all by publicly announcing her pregnancy to the “mass media and politicians” and the public by putting it online! So stupid. I hate people/celebrities who put every life detail online and then cry about their privacy being invaded.

  8. Anare says:

This bunch puts the assy in classy.

  9. Jen43 says:

Another scenario is that Dakota is the father but Bristol has completely ghosted him. She did the same think to Levi, didnt she, where she basically didnt want him near their child?

I still doubt Dakota is the father, though. I wonder if she were already pregnant before she and Dakota hooked up and Dakota did the math and figured out he can’t be the father.

  10. Jayna says:

Kaiser, you didn’t post the best part, that staged photo he posted with his remarks, so posed and dramatic with a pipe in his mouth, wearing a bathrobe, the huge sword across his lap, reading a book (I think about ISIS), with his judgy remarks. He and Sarah Palin make a great pair. No wonder she went to the cancelled wedding reception to hang.

It might not be that he’s a douche, deadbeat dad. He could be the father and she cancelled the wedding because she realized after spending a month in Kentucky with him, that this shotgun wedding was a mistake, he was controlling, and to be married to him and have the baby in Kentucky would give him too much power over her life when the marriage ended and divorce and custody battles began. She cancelled and fled back to Alaska. And in that case, he will be involved, but from very far away, not what Bristol has been preaching, how children need both parents, a male and female family unit.

Of course, it could be that the child isn’t his. I could see that as a huge possibility.

Whatever the case, it sure seems like Sarah Palin is on the outs with her daughter right now. They probably haven’t been speaking since Bristol refused to go along with Sarah’s plan and statement (damage control) that the families would all still be together at the non-reception even though the wedding was cancelled. Then Bristol was a no-show. It’s telling that the Palins haven’t come out in support of their daughter right now, even just to rip the awful liberal medial for harrassing her poor daughter. There’s trouble in Palinville, it looks like. LOL.

    • Kiddo says:

That sounds fantastic, please post a link!

      • Jayna says:

I was wrong. People Magazine had posted the photo with his message, so I assumed it was a new photo he had posted with his message. The magazine had just used that photo, I guess. I think it’s from several months ago in response to ISIS attacks, but here’s the photo. He fits right in with the Palins. This guy wants to run for Congress.

        http://imgix.scout.com/144/1442061.jpg?w=600&fit=max

      • Kiddo says:

        THAT IS PRICELESS. Thank you.

      • Lilacflowers says:

The Marines in my family would not approve of the Marine sword being used in such a fashion.

      • TeaAndSympathy says:

Hahahahaha! Thanks for the link, Jayna. He seems like a complete tosser.

      • Christin says:

He sounds just like Sarah (only slightly more coherent).

The proof will be in the DNA. All is speculation until then. Sarah may hope everyone ASSumes it is the former fiancés, and could be all nicey nice in hopes no one pushes for DNA proof.

    • Lynnie says:

There’s a theory that Bristol might’ve been physically showing at the time of the reception, so if she appeared someone might’ve noticed, put two and two together and…

I agree though, Bristol has done major damage to the Palin brand and if any of the negative press about Sarah is true (which it most likely definitely is) then Sarah’s out for blood.

      • Jayna says:

That weekend, instead of showing up like her mother wanted to the reception now turned family barbecue (to save face I guess for Sarah), she went off on a getaway weekend in a camper with her “exotic model/video vixen” girlfriend and posted photos, which must have infuriated Sarah also. But she doesn’t look like she’s showing Although, it’s a loose shirt, so it could be deceiving.

        http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/05/25/14/290F103200000578-3096170-image-a-5_1432561013520.jpg

      • inthekitchen says:

Oh let’s not blame baby Palin for bring shame to the family! Her mom did that all by herself everytime she opened her dumb mouth…position flexible, refudiate, Paul Revere warned the British…and on and on. Sarah Palin ruined that family’s reputation all by herself.

      • LizzyFizzy says:

Jayna, that dog in the photo of Bristol’s “getaway” looks a lot like her ex-boyfriend’s dog, Lucy. I think you’ve just busted her, unless they have two of the same type of small, black and tan dog?

Here’s Joey Junker’s Instagram, where Lucy is featured prominently:

      • anony54 says:

in that pic jayna posted – look behind them, in the reflection in the window. the reflection is trees. but there in the middle, the reflection is all wonky….

    • Jules says:

There is also the rumor that Momma Grizzled was also fondling this DB’s sword.

    • Jen43 says:

It’s actually the Marine Handbook that he is reading. Haha

What Dakota doesn’t understand is that this story is pure gold in terms of entertainment value and humor. What is happening internationally is depressing .

      • Melissa says:

Exactly. ISIS is scary. The Palin sh*t show is nothing but entertainment and a heavy amount of schadenfreude.

    • Lilacflowers says:

The Palins haven’t come out in support of their daughter because Sarah is really busy saving The Pine Tree flag in Arkansas. She needs to help Arkansas because Mike Huckabee is too busy spouting off how God defined marriage (don’t tell the people in those religions that allow polygamy) and the Duggars are busy defending themselves from media assaults on their perverse lifestyle. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/06/27/exclusive-sarah-palin-an-appeal-to-heaven/

    • GPSB says:

Palinville – Disney World For Crazies. The insanest place on Earth!

  11. Annie says:

Funny that just as she was talking about kids needing a mom and a dad, when she spoke against gay marriage, there she goes being a single mom… again. And two kids from two different daddies without ever being married to either man? Isn’t that what trailer trash do, Bristol? But you and your family are so morally superior to us all! You always do what’s right! We need your guidance and lecturing! And here you are, asking not to be judged and lectured. Well, I lecture and judge because you are a FRAUD.

    • Jayna says:

      Isn’t that the truth?

    • Dez says:

You would think that her mom and dad would show some support for her regardless. After all she can’t abort the baby. So Sarah needs to get over it and be there for her daughter and Todd what the heck has he been doing? Snowmobiling? When all is said and done they are going to be grandparents so they need to enjoy the wonders of having another grandkid, some families are not furtinate enough to have grandkids. Take it as a blessing and not a disappointment.

  12. Lynnie says:

I wonder how far along she is? That would certainly answer a few questions lol.

Also, why not just get a secret abortion? It obvious this baby is not going into a stable environment, everyone’s less than welcoming about it, Bristol is effectively out of a cushy job, Sarah’s political chances of anything are ruined (which makes Bristol’s life that much harder), etc. I just don’t get it, she could’ve have saved herself a lot of this trouble.

I get the point Dakota is trying to make. You and I might be aware of everything that’s going on right now ISIS-related or not, but what about those who never look beyond that news broadcast or the headlines section of a website? I just think there could definitely be a balance between celebrity and non-celebrity news.

    • jc126 says:

I think maybe she’d be afraid to get an abortion, fearing it would be exposed somehow. I don’t have ultimate faith in staff members at healthcare facilities respecting HIPAA when it comes to celebrities. If she went to a Planned Parenthood, clinics always have protesters, etc.
On a less judgmental note – since I’m not as judgmental as the Palins, ha ha – maybe she truly is opposed to abortion.
Can’t wait to see the goofy name this kid gets.

  13. Lilacflowers says:

“All ISIS/ISIL attacks and all overshadowed by the dog and pony show being put on here domestically by some politicians and mass media. The news that feeds the “inquiring mind want to know” is inconsequential compared to that which is truly relevant but lost on the back page. I urge you to go beyond what is spoon fed to you and see what is truly going on out there. ‪”

Get over yourself, Dakota. I and thousands of other Americans are fully aware of the terrorist attacks throughout the world this week. We are also fully aware of the manhunt going on in upstate New York for two escaped convicts and the tragic events in South Carolina, followed by uplifting events in South Carolina, and the Supreme Court decisions and many, many other important events. Not sure to which “dog and pony” show you are referring, unless it is that of Mike Huckabee, John Ellis Bush, Ben Carson, and Donald Trump spouting inanities about God’s intent for marriage. But no, Dakota, we aren’t all focused on you. You and your romantic entanglements are just a sad joke at this point so drop the family line about “the media”, which you and yours exploit.

    • GingerCrunch says:

And what’s more satisfying in this day and age than seeing karma in action? Tell me, cuz I’d really like to know!

    • zinjojo says:

These folks always make me think of a quote by the 19th century British philosopher, John Stuart Mills,

“Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative.”

Those words ring certainly ring true today!

      • Robin says:

It was John Stuart Mill, not Mills, and there’s also the more recent quotation by Sir Winston Churchill…

    • pinetree13 says:

Are they really slow readers so they think the rest of us can only read one news article a day? Sorry dears but I can rapidly consume a LOT of information. And seriously, their hilarious hypocritical situation is a nice diversion from the sadder stories of the day. So massive eye roll to his statement.

  14. Lilacflowers says:

In the pictures above, he and Sarah look happier together than Bristol does. Can’t wait until Sarah finally speaks up and finds a way to blame this all on Obama.

  15. Jaded says:

Let’s see if she can grift some money out of this….how about a “Non-Abstinence Speaking Tour” along the lines of “Hellya kids, forget abstinence! Make all the Republican babies you can, strike while the iron is hot so that my mom can come back to defeat all those Liberal wussies!!”

  16. Quinn says:

I’m betting the only abstinence going on here was between Bristol and Dakota…hence the fact that she didn’t bother to try to pass it off as his kid and go on with the wedding.

    • MinnFinn says:

+1 Either that or it’s irrefutable that Bristol conceived when Dakota was not in town.

  17. Maria says:

Apropos of absolutely nothing, does that dude have gum disease? Seriously — that top photo with Sarah Palin? His gums look *really* unhealthy. Sorry, carry on.

    • Lori says:

I figured dentures? or some sort of a partial. Its disturbing right I notice with pics of Sarah, Bristol or this guy all I see if dental work.

    • Dez says:

He’s a dipper that’s why it looks like that. Military guys love chewing tobacco since you can’t smoke inside a government building and cigarette smoke can give away your position in the field. Chewing tobacco is nasty and the bottles they leave everywhere just makes me gag.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

I think it is a very badly done bridge, and you are seeing metal.

  18. Frosty says:

This post is just awesome, love it. And I don’t give a tinker’s damn about Bristol LOL

  19. CFY says:

Your ten seconds of relevance to the general public is up sir – now if you could pass the memo to your ex and her family, that’d be swell. Thanks!!!!

  20. Kristen says:

I don’t know much about Bristol Palin (except that her mother could drive off a cliff and I’d shed zero tears), but I’m actually feeling pretty shitty for her right now. Imagine growing up in this type of environment. Not only are you getting pressure to be perfect and maintain this unattainable image, but you’re a teenager quite literally growing up in the media with all of your mistakes out there to be judged. And further, your mother uses your teen pregnancy as leverage for her platform instead of like, I dunno, being a good mom and helping you through it?

I bet she’s fucked up. Emotionally. She probably needs to much therapy to help her figure out what she really wants, what her values really are, and what would actually make her happy as an individual.

    • GingerCrunch says:

Amen. As mom to a couple of 20-something’s who have made some questionable decisions, I gotta say that I’m pretty disturbed when I try to imagine her life. Just think how hard Sarah Palin is trying to control this sh*tstorm and how bad it’s failing, too. I know if our dirty laundry had been public fodder, I’d have been mortified. But I’m not a hypocrite who puts it all out there. And I’m willing to let my kids make their own mistakes, however painful it is to witness.

      • lakester says:

I feel this way too. My daughters’ early adulthoods would not have been a great time for me to be running for office, for any of us. I feel sorry for Bristol for that initial public scrutiny in 2008. I feel even sorrier for all those Palin kids who seem to have been raised in a moral, intellectual and aspirational vacuum. What have any of them accomplished? What values can they articulate on their own? I was a teacher for a long time, and I often run into former students. In the last week I saw two young women who each had a baby while in high school and are now young adults. Both are immigrants from poor families where living in a trailer is not a metaphor, both are single parents, both have finished high school and community college and are headed to nursing school. Both have managed to learn from experience and avoid a second unplanned pregnancy. They don’t have a fraction of the resources Bristol does and oddly enough, they whine much less.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@lakester, well, if their appearance on Celebrity Wife Swap with Joan and Melissa Rivers a few years back is any indication, they do not value work. At all. Bristol refused to even sit in on work-related meetings with Joan. Willow flat-out refused to even consider going to a job that Melissa arranged for her to style hair, which she had been claiming was her chosen profession. Her excuse? I’ve never worked before so I want to get some experience before I start working. Child discipline is also not high on their list of values. Tripp was an undisciplined brat and Bristol was stunned at how well behaved and invested in his own school work Melissa’s son Cooper was.

  21. embertine says:

Much as I feel sorry for the children that are resulting from this utter sh*tshow, I am very pleased in one sense: Bristol Palin is now the official poster girl for why abstinence-only education doesn’t work.

I will not shame a woman for having sex, or even for getting pregnant due to carelessness and poor planning (which is most probably what happened here), but you’d better believe I’ll shame this trashy hypocrite for trying to set women’s rights back 100 years, when she can’t even follow her own ridiculous moral code.

I’ll stop lecturing you, Bristol, when you stop lecturing other women. At least I’m not making a living from it.

  22. burnsie says:

I’m of the belief that Dakota isn’t the father, so I saw his rambling word salad as a way of protecting Bristol in a way, and trying to get the media attention off of her

  23. Bella says:

My only problem here (and I guess it’s a big one) is that this family has been so incredibly judgmental of everyone else and yet Bristol has the audacity to say, “I don’t want a lecture.” That is really interesting, considering nobody wanted a lecture when her and her mother wanted to dole them out. I’ve known many people who love to point their finger at others and criticize and act holier than thou, and in every single instance, unfailingly, it blew up in their faces just like what is happening to the Palin family right now.

All I can say is that, although I know it’s unlikely, I hope they learn this lesson and realize that they’re in no position at all to comment on the way other people lives their lives.

  24. Dez says:

Well at least one of her kids can go to college for free. If Dakota is the father the kid can go to any of our military academies after high school since he’s a MOH winner. Hope she/he takes advantage of that opportunity 19 years from now.

    • zinjojo says:

Hey, but that would be a government handout, right? So wouldn’t that be another hypocritical position for these right wing lunatics? Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps and NO government support ever. (Of course, except when it’s for their benefit.)

      • Lilacflowers says:

Alaska is the land of government handouts. Everything the state does is heavily subsidized by federal share.

Tripp was on Medicaid as a baby. We paid for his health care. You’re welcome, Bristol.

      • Lynnie says:

@Lilac, THIS!!! I just don’t get how Sarah oh her colleagues can say half the things they do with a straight face. It’s just baffling.

      • Liberty says:

They can shovel their scoops of nonsense because not everyone is as informed (or willing to research a topic) as the commenters here.

      • Lilacflowers says:

It would crack me up when Sarah would brag about balancing the state budget. Alaska gets some of the highest shares of FFP of any state across all cost centers. Not difficult to balance the checkbook when somebody else is picking up 80% of the bill. Sadly, people fall for that crap because they never bother to learn where our federal monies actually go.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

Those kids who are Todd’s have always had access to any Native Alaskan American subsidies they have interest in.

    • Lilacflowers says:

@Dez, have any of the Palins ever expressed any interest in attending college?

      • Dez says:

Lol no, but wasn’t Bristal trying to go to Arizona State at one time? I thought she brought a house in Arizona a few years ago so she could go to school.

  25. Belle Epoch says:

    Bill Maher:

“BILL MAHER: You heard about Bristol Palin, right? I don’t usually go after the children of candidates, but c’mon. Bristol, who after she had the first baby, out of wedlock, got paid to be an abstinence spokesman and is now pregnant with her second child out of wedlock. This chick can see Russia from her bed. Instead of shooting wolves, Sarah Palin should have them raise her kids.”

    • bluhare says:

      LOL

    • GingerCrunch says:

I read the Vanity Fair article that Levi did, after seeing it referenced here, and boy, it sure sounds like a pack of wolves would have been more involved than Sarah was. *shudder*

    • mayamae says:

Bill Maher went farther than this. He began a “Free Levi” campaign, and stated the Palin’s will simply sit the new baby at the table with the rest of them, and name it some dumb redneck name like Track and Trig – and she did!

    • Liberty says:

      Ha ha!! Perfect.

  26. Giddy says:

Hey Sarah, that “hopey, changey thing” is doing just fine TYVM. How are things in your little judgmental neck of the woods?

  27. anne_000 says:

    According to a DM article:

“‘Three ISIS/ISIL attacks and people are talking about banning a flag still,’ wrote Meyer on Twitter.

He then wrote ‘Still waiting’ at the bottom, a reference to a tweet he put out last year urging any member of ISIS to show up at his home and try and take him on.”

Guess we can’t have any thoughts other than those ISIL-related and geez, let’s all hold our breaths while we wait for ISIL to show up to Dakota’s house, right?

    • Lilacflowers says:

Sarah Palin is one of those talking about a flag.

      • anne_000 says:

        @ Lilacflowers

There’s actually a photo of Dakota’s tweet in the DM article. So it’s actually him tweeting that.

Then he made the ‘come get me’ comment in another place on the internet.

  28. weirswalker says:

I took a look at this guys FB page..I have never seen a Medal of Honor recipient so blatantly promote himself as a hero..he’s milking that for all it’s worth..he’s supporting himself on his hero status..how about all those hero’s who don’t have a public FB page to let us know how brave they were ? He’s a joke..

    • jc126 says:

Yes, he’s a load and seems like a self-centered jerk.
My hunch is that Dakota IS the dad, and he cheated on Bristol and she dumped him. His blah-blahing is to distract from his own mistakes.

    • GingerCrunch says:

Un-hinged whack-job, with all due respect, of course.

  29. Reeely?? says:

At least they have a new and “mavericky” name for the newest addition to the hatesintheNameofJesusClan. “Mustak”.

  30. Jen43 says:

Kaiser, she posted an update claiming the baby was planned. So, are we to believe it’s Dakota’s baby?

    • Lynnie says:

HAHAHAHA *inserts Jennifer Lawrence “sure okay” gif*

      Do you know where?

    • Liberty says:

We are to believe anything and everything they say!

Because, stuff and things, America, snow, fish!

    • BlueNailsBetty says:

Ummm, if little Rickrack was planned then why the doom-and-gloom of the announcement? This nitwit just can’t keep her story straight can she?

    • lucy2 says:

Yeah, a planned pregnancy, that happened “ahead of schedule.” And now we know that she doesn’t understand what the word “planned” means, in addition to so many, many other things.
You don’t say you’re a disappointment to everyone if you plan to get pregnant and do.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

Yeah, it was planned alright- planned to catch the professional snowmobiler she’s been chasing since 2012. Thank goodness for the home ovulation kits; she’s reeled in her cash-cow catch to offset the investment spent on them to this point.

    • Ange says:

If it was planned with the ex you’d think she’d name him as the father to prove that at least they were committed. If it was with this new guy I don’t think there’s much wisdom in planning a baby with a guy you’ve hooked up with a mere weeks after your wedding to a different guy was cancelled. I smell mucho BS.

  31. Beth says:

I should tell you all something really embarrassing: I read Bristol Palin’s Book “Not afraid of life”. I did it so that you don’t have to do it. Needless to say: it’s full of crap!
(I got this book as a christmas gift from someone who probably hates me.)

  32. Dhavynia says:

Scarier than another Palin being created is reading #neveroutgunned from a meathead

  33. Lucky Charm says:

Didn’t they just get engaged in March? She could have been pregnant already, hence the rush to plan a wedding so quickly. She started showing, he did the math and realized it couldn’t be his, and called the whole thing off. I think the only thing “planned” about this pregnancy was she planned to pass the baby off as Dakota’s and it would just “come early”. Her getting pregnant by another man forcing her fiance to call off the wedding, this losing any chance at credibility and respectability is the big disappointment to her family.

    • Jen43 says:

This is what i am also tinking. She posted a sonogram photo. . Can anyone guess how far along the pg is?

      • MadMenluv says:

I spent a lot of time obsessing over my sonos with both my son and daughter, lol, I stared at them a lot trying to see thing lol…anyway, I would say based on the development of the skull and the prominent nasal bone Bristol’s baby looks about 20-22 weeks, which would basically make her at least 5 months pregnant, which means she conceived late Feb or early March…that’s my guess

    • Liberty says:

I think you’re on to the truth, Lucky Charm. His answer struck me as a sort of big dig at the Palin spin wagon. A sort of hint that they’re gaming the real story and are, as a group, not worth the attention. I may be giving this guy too much credit for subtlety though.

  34. Liberty says:

Edit this was intended for GPSB’s great idea For Palinville, up in 10:

… ah the rides! Abstinence Mountain! The Gun-a-Coaster! The Hall of Oops! The Haunted Backstory House! The Baby Slide!

  35. gg says:

“For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving with Marine Embedded Training Team 2-8, Regional Corps Advisory Command 3-7, in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, on 8 September 2009. Corporal Meyer maintained security at a patrol rally point while other members of his team moved on foot with two platoons of Afghan National Army and Border Police into the village of Ganjgal for a pre-dawn meeting with village elders. Moving into the village, the patrol was ambushed by more than 50 enemy fighters firing rocket propelled grenades, mortars, and machine guns from houses and fortified positions on the slopes above. Hearing over the radio that four U.S. team members were cut off, Corporal Meyer seized the initiative. With a fellow Marine driving, Corporal Meyer took the exposed gunner’s position in a gun-truck as they drove down the steeply terraced terrain in a daring attempt to disrupt the enemy attack and locate the trapped U.S. team. Disregarding intense enemy fire now concentrated on their lone vehicle, Corporal Meyer killed a number of enemy fighters with the mounted machine guns and his rifle, some at near point blank range, as he and his driver made three solo trips into the ambush area. During the first two trips, he and his driver evacuated two dozen Afghan soldiers, many of whom were wounded. When one machine gun became inoperable, he directed a return to the rally point to switch to another gun-truck for a third trip into the ambush area where his accurate fire directly supported the remaining U.S. personnel and Afghan soldiers fighting their way out of the ambush. Despite a shrapnel wound to his arm, Corporal Meyer made two more trips into the ambush area in a third gun-truck accompanied by four other Afghan vehicles to recover more wounded Afghan soldiers and search for the missing U.S. team members. Still under heavy enemy fire, he dismounted the vehicle on the fifth trip and moved on foot to locate and recover the bodies of his team members. Corporal Meyer’s daring initiative and bold fighting spirit throughout the 6-hour battle significantly disrupted the enemy’s attack and inspired the members of the combined force to fight on. His unwavering courage and steadfast devotion to his U.S. and Afghan comrades in the face of almost certain death reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.”
    Leave the guy alone.

    • cr says:

      “Leave the guy alone.”
Being a Medal of Honor recipient doesn’t mean that he’s immune from criticism.

    • Jaded says:

Since when is he the arbiter of what news feeds we should be reading/watching/listening to? There’s much more happening in the world today that is worthy of news coverage AND celebration, not just terrorist attacks. There are many more heroes in this world besides Dakota Meyer and I resent being talked down to via Facebook by someone who clearly has an ax to grind.

    • GingerCrunch says:

He could easily ruin his own legacy if he keeps up with these shenanigans, tho, imho.

    • Josephine says:

He’s ranting on social media for attention. Those who want to be left alone don’t solicit comments like a teenager. I doubt he was getting much attention – I always chuckle when these Palins and their associates think that they are the source of so much gossip — no one cared about them until her whiny, negative, challenging pregnancy announcement and his bizarre, judge-y and arrogant rant.

    • TotallyBiased says:

gg–I hate to burst your bubble, but:
      a) I used to write those things (citations for commendations) and a good S4 puts more spin on the ball than Andy Murray.

The events described here happened in similar ways many times in OIF and OEF. If that is their bar, I have friends equally deserving.

      b) Unfortunately, the MoH can be a very politicized award, especially in this century. I’ll just leave it at that.

    • Kiddo says:

@gg, So what? What does that have to do with any of the stupid shit he is saying here? You’re milking your sacred cow.

  36. minx says:

Imagine if one of the Obama girls had two babies out of wedlock.
These people would be going berserk.

    • Lilacflowers says:

It wouldn’t take two babies out of wedlock. One would suffice.

    • Dez says:

      Or Chelsea Clinton.

      • Brittney B says:

Chelsea would’ve drawn ire too (especially at her philandering father, setting a bad example)… but either Obama girl would be INFINITELY worse. The “welfare queen” analogies would be drawn immediately, including implications that taxpayers are funding yet another woman of color’s sinful lifestyle.

  37. Lama Bean says:

Lawd have mercy. They need to stop talking.
Now Bristol is claiming this was a planned pregnancy.

    http://www.eonline.com/news/671251/bristol-palin-does-not-regret-getting-pregnant-says-baby-was-planned-find-out-what-else-she-said

    Sigh.

Well either she is the world’s largest drama queen or it’s not his kid. Pick one, it can’t be both.

  39. Amy M. says:

Well they’re thinking now the terrorist attack in France wasn’t a terrorist attack but a boss-employee dispute turned very ugly. The guy that was caught didn’t seem to have any intention of doing anything else but killing his boss which is a tragedy, but just a case of personal revenge?

  40. LAK says:

    Deflection. Deflection. Deflection!

  41. CK says:

The saddest thing about this is that the hot guy in the back seat is probably as crazy as he is.

  42. K says:

I doubt he’d post that if he weren’t the father, and hadn’t messed up in some way. That post is the sort of thing people say when things that will make them look pretty bad have either just come out, or just will. If she’d treated him badly, then I suspect he would be playing the wounded hero while being secretly delighted to see her taken down. As it is, he’s voicing thinly-veiled faux-indignation at anyone knowing his business, and implying only stupid people care, anyway. Fig-leaf argument if ever there was one.

I think he’s the father, the engagement was shotgun, and she had genuine reason to balk at the altar.

  43. Brittney B says:

So… next time conservatives want to take away my reproductive rights, can I tell them to pay attention to “terrorist style attacks” instead?

Because by their logic, abortion IS more important than terrorism. Claims more victims, etc., etc. They just don’t appreciate scrutiny when it’s directed at them. I lovvvvvvve when they cry hypocrisy of the left (or the media in general, which is apparently equated with the left…? despite the vast majority of it being sponsored by huge corporations and used to perpetuate classism and racism?). SMH.

    • Jayna says:

He wasn’t complaining when he and the Palins were milking this engagement. He wasn’t complaining when the wedding was off how Sarah was talking about the reception will be turned into a party and everyone will be there and she shows up and is papped with him and people were talking about that. Why didn’t he spout off then about ISIS and stop focusing on him and his nuptials or lack thereof and now a party with the Palins?

  44. Jess says:

    Amen, Kaiser!
