Well this development explains a few things. Jennifer Lawrence and the King of Elevator Music broke up again! Us Weekly is exclusively reporting that JLaw and Chris Martin are finished. This split follows an unlikely, year-long romance that few could understand. Chris was still married to Goop until recently, and now that he’s single, Jennifer has moved on. Or did Mr. Coldplay move on first? He was walking arm-in-arm with Kylie Minogue about a week ago in London. Then we saw some attention-seeking behavior on JLaw’s part in the form of mustache and unibrow drawing and chopstick walrus-ing for the paparazzi.
Jennifer previously broke up with Chris last November, but they reunited in time for Dorito Christmas. Here’s the Us take on why it ended again:

“Jen has been working nonstop and they never saw each other,” an insider tells Us.
The pair, who had been dating for almost a year, previously split last winter for a month before reuniting in December. Since their split, Lawrence, 24, has been spending more time with her ex-boyfriend and X-Men: Apocalypse costar, Nicholas Hoult.
“They’re on great terms now,” the source adds. “And their families have stayed close.'”
The pair posed for a smiling selfie with X-Men director Bryan Singer back in May. While their future is up in the air, things seem to be over between Lawrence and Martin, 38, who was recently spotted going for a 1 a.m. stroll with Kylie Minogue in London. (Minogue’s rep denied the pair were romantic.)
The source adds that Lawrence and Martin’s romance “ran its course.”

This source is probably from JLaw’s camp. Nobody gets trashed here, but there’s a special shoutout to her recent adorable selfie with Nick Hoult with the potential for a followup romance. Maybe it will happen for them again. I’m not jumping up and down for this Martin Lawrence split as expected. In my mind, the romance was over when they split a dessert in January, but their strawberry fields Easter was talked up big time in the press. JLaw has a history of on-off behavior with boyfriends, so she and Chris could reunite again.
The good news? JLaw won’t have to go on a couples’ retreat with Goop. Bullet dodged.

I called it when she actually didn’t run away from the paps. It’s screamed “I’m free!!” To me. Anyways it’s not like this was anything serious…it was more publicity than anything else. As in we heard more about their epic romance more than we saw any evidence that they even liked each other as more than friends.
Good for her. Bullet dodged. And I doubt her and nick are going to do round 3 (or 4). I’m thinking that is just a distraction detail that doubles as movie promotion. Hopefully she will stay single for a bit

I don’t know why Chris is getting a reputation as a snob and bore. I don’t follow him but have looked into him. From the few interviews I have seen of him since his breakup and looking him up a bit, he has a great sense of humor and seems like a fun going guy. He was quite young when he and Gwyneth got married and became a father early. So maybe he was missing that dating time. I don’t think he had many relationships before Gwyneth.
And I maybe in the minority but I like some of his music.
I’m more surprised that Jennifer was dating a man with 2 children. Did they think it was going somewhere or was it just fun. I saw pics of him and he seems just fine too.

Maybe she’s relieved to be out of it?
