I’ll admit it, I was wrong about Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift. They are much less scandalous than I expected. I figured that by now, with Swifty’s tour in full swing and Calvin’s steady schedule of appearances, that they would be winding down their romance and it would be a juicy, crazy mess. Instead, Calvin and Swifty are finding a way to make it work. They meet up in between her tour dates, they have proper date nights and they seem to really like/love each other. Now, will they break up at some point? I’m sure. They are both hot messes when it comes to romance. But for now, everything is steady and calm and blissful. Calvin said as much in an interview with KISS FM:
How his relationship is going: “It’s going absolutely fantastic. It’s interesting because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up. For me it could be a lot worse and I’d still be like insanely happy with her so I’m good with it.’

The rumors & the tabloids: “It does get more and more ridiculous, from me apparently being allergic to cats or Taylor and I are moving in together or we’re getting married next week. It’s a lot but you’ve just got to take it how it is which is that it’s a news story that people read but it’s just not real life. Then on the other hand, real life is happening. There’s a whole bunch of times where we’ve been hanging out and nobody’s clocked it. It’s not like every single time we go out, we get a photograph taken of us.”
Swifty can do it all: “It’s boxes I didn’t even know existed, she ticks. It’s really ridiculous… She’s generally an incredible cook and human being.”

Insanely happy. Fantastic. Incredible cook. Hm. I guess we have to give it to Swifty – she managed to find a guy who genuinely adores her and gushes about her in public. That’s all she’s ever wanted! Seriously though, good for them. I’m glad they’re happy. I’ll save my curmudgeon-y things to say when they split.

I dont know her music but know that a lot of what she writes is based on her previous relationships, so going by the extent of this gushiness I can only surmise that her next album will be FANTASTIC!

It is PR… A lot of people seem to forget he was with a model named, Wolfe I think, for 7 months right up until the middle of March. These two were then spotted in Nashville the last week in the same month so either Harris was two-timing or this was a total PR set up. I will be the exception and say something nice. I am glad to finally see her date someone who seems to be happy with her and acknowledges her in a really kind way. Will it last? Who knows but I hope so for her sake. Would be nice to see a person who does nice things for others have something good actually happen to them!!!
Here’s something nice. There’s a little girl in our city that has an incurable brain tumor, and is not expected to live another year. She has a bucket list of things she wants, and one of them was to see a Taylor Swift concert and to meet Taylor. Well, it was confirmed on the local news yesterday, that due to a massive facebook campaign, the TS management company have arranged for this little girl to have her wish granted. Happy to see this happen for little Ava.
I love them together. I see babies in their future. ..together!
