Iggy Azalea has a new interview with Australia’s Daily Telegraph. She talks about how she used to hate her fiance“, Nick “Swaggy P” Young of the LA Lakers. Iggy went to a 2008 pool party, which was full of “a**hole” basketball players, and Nick was one of them. Years later, Nick tweeted about having a crush on her, and a friend set them up. Iggy eventually figured out out he was one of the guys from the party. It’s kind of a cute story.
Not so cute — Iggy is still arguing with anyone and everyone on Twitter. She must search directly for her name because this comic book site account didn’t use the “at” symbol when comparing her music to The Last Airbender. Her choice to argue with a comic-fanboy site is hilarious because their initial tweet was so generic:

Like Iggy’s The New Classic, the much maligned movie disappointed its audience but still made some money. It must suck for Iggy to hear stuff like this, but this was an offhand joke. Still mean, yes, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for a celebrity (or anyone with an internet presence) to hear on Twitter. Iggy has an incredibly thin skin and will argue with anyone. I’m amazed that her team let her start tweeting again earlier this year because she’s a social media disaster. Her fans think she owned this guy, but I’m not so sure.

Also as someone who likes/watched The Last Airbender (the good cartoon, not that horrific movie) she can step all the way off. That cartoon had more talent in its opening title card sequence than you do in your entire life Iggy-Iggs.
She needs to do a solo remix of Pretty Girls with Petty substituted in:

I wouldn’t even say the joke by the comic book site was mean. Certainly not by internet standards, and certainly not when compared to the things people usually say about Iggy.
I thought Iggy was cool when Snoop Dogg compared her to a character from White Chicks and she went on and dressed like that for Halloween. I thought she had a sense of humor and thicker skin. Seems I was wrong.

Well at least she admits that she gets paid millions for nothing. And of course the cultural appropriation criticisms went over her head. She doesn’t even realize that she’s being called out for her racism through that tweet.
Someone accuses you of taking credit for others’ work. Since you can’t deny or defend that, you boast about having millions (which is obviously a lie in her case). A childish and desperate comeback. Many sites are claiming that she had the last laugh and that she ‘won’. You don’t ‘win’ when you have to resort to talking about your bank balance to save face. I think she came out looking like the idiot here.

Yeah, Iggy, you can shout about how all your money and all your fame means you automatically win (and how unoriginal is that? You’re not even writing your own insults), but no. That guy wins at life.
But its true. Last Aibender did under perform. $130 millions from $150 budget. It is considered to be flop and everyone who watched it hate it. It wasnt even number one in its first weekend.
While Iggy had many number one singles. Was nominated fro Grammy. Won American Music Awards, Billboard awards. That why they were laughing that site compared it.
