I’m sort of bothered by how blasé the reactions are to Lamar Odom accosting his ex-wife in the wee hours of the morning yesterday. By all accounts, Khloe was startled and emotional when Lamar rushed her outside of an early SoulCycle class. By all accounts, he was yelling at her and she was trying to get away from him. Sources have been telling People Magazine that Khloe recently cut off all contact with Lamar (following their divorce finalization) and that Lamar is worked up about the divorce and Khloe’s new relationship with baller James Harden. This whole situation seems pretty clear… to me, at least. But that didn’t stop Lamar from going to TMZ to explain “his side.”
Lamar Odom says he absolutely did NOT ambush Khloe Kardashian — and he’s heartbroken because he says Khloe knows what really happened, but … for some reason … won’t go public to clear his name. Lamar wanted to vent to TMZ about the story we broke — that, according to witnesses, he shocked Khloe outside a SoulCycle … jumping out of a car and demanding to talk to her. Khloe eventually ran away after a witness threatened to call cops.
But an enraged Lamar went off … denying he stalked her, touched her or ambushed her — and in a powerful rant says the meeting was actually prearranged with Khloe. He’s hurt that she’s not standing up for him. Even further, he threatens to spill secrets — whose, he doesn’t say — if something like this happens again.
In the video, Odom goes between anger and sadness — especially when opening up about how his life has spiraled out of control. He also rips TMZ for what he calls racist reporting about celebrity beefs.
I’m including the video below. While I think Lamar has some points about the media, this also makes me pretty uncomfortable. I don’t believe Khloe “set him up.” At all. I think he tried – in his own f—ked up way – to win her back and Khloe finally closed that chapter in her life. And it bugs me that people are so quick to write off this story because “Khloe’s a famewhore” or whatever. You don’t have to only be a certain kind of non-famewhore woman to be stalked, harassed and made to feel unsafe.

I’m on the fence, on one side they are Kardashians and EVERYTHING is scripted and staged, but on one hand I think he does have some deep rooted issues. Maybe it’s a combination of both? Maybe she did want to meet but then he got too touchy and grabby and crazy and she freaked?
Me too. Didn’t she just give an interview saying that she missed him and they talk several times a week? Now she wants to change the story and say that she cut him off.
I don’t know, maybe he did show up unannounced and it freaked her out, but usually nothing is as you see with this family and that is nobody’s fault but their own.
Yeah I wouldnt be surprised if PMK called him and tell khloe for a reaction. Also as some others pointed out , apparently her hair color is different and darker in the video than it is now- like this was taken a while ago. It seems a little fishy… if true hopefully she does get a bodyguard and protection. I just dont know with these people anymore…
I’m pretty sure her hair is just wet, not a different color. I have blonde hair and when it’s wet it looks really really dark. It’s got a lot of curl and not styled at all in that pic either. I don’t doubt the picture is current, but I also don’t doubt the Kardashians were involved in that pic being taken and the “story” going right to TMZ.
The Kardashians are all famewh*res but that doesn’t mean that this couldn’t be legit and that he really was being aggressive / accosting her / etc. The two things can be true at the same time, after all.

However, with this family it could just as easily NOT be true. I don’t think it’s wrong for people to want a little more proof before jumping all over Lamar.
True, but they’ve staged so many things that it’s difficult to believe anything that happens to them or around them.
Of course it could be true. But this is like the boy who cries wolf. The Kardashians are always setting things up and lying about everything so many people treat anything they say with skepticism.
His life is in a really bad place right now, including drug usage. In a desperate place, he thinks getting back with her (when things were great) will help make him happy.
Because of that, I think he IS stalking her to some degree. She may have been nice to some point and then realized she had to cut it off because his expectations (of them getting back together?) were delusional.
He needs to work on himself. Another person can’t make you happy or fix your life.
Can you prove he is using drugs? Do you have pics or was there while he is doing drugs?

I don’t think so. Why would she arrange to meet with him so early in the morning as she is obviously on her way into the gym to work out? It doesn’t make sense. Further, He seems to be on something during this short interview. I’m not sure he knows what point he is trying to make or what really went down. He seems very volatile.
I think it is possible that Rob Kardashian told him where Khloe would be not thinking that this would happen. I think it is also very possible that Lamar is jealous of Khloe’s relationship with another younger more successful basketball player. Or, it could be possible that he finally took a good look at the divorce papers he signed and is angry about something in those papers. Or, it could be possible that Khloe is finally so tired of his behavior that she has stopped communicating with him in anyway and that angered him. Maybe it is a combination of all these things that have set him off.
Any way, it feels like he is lying about stalking Khloe.

I believe her. Out of everything, her relationship with Lamar was real and she cared so much for him and was really hurt by the divorce, I don’t think she’d do something like this – for her sake and his.
I believe her too. I refuse to victim blame. Maybe I’m naive and silly, and as much as I dislike the K Klan and all they stand for, no one deserves this kind of harassment. Undoubtedly he is troubled, but that is not her problem. She needs to get that restraining order and a (hot) bodyguard, ASAP!
I believe her three. If you tell me you were assaulted in any way, shape or form, I will give you the benefit of the doubt 9 times out of 10. Maybe that makes me naive, but I would much rather mistakenly believe in someone who’s full of it than victim-blame someone who has legitimately been through something so scary.

@shambles it’s not necessarily text book because many abusers will actually appear calm , cool and collected to others. Also when they defend themselves they appear the same way. That type also gets away with the abuse for longer. Not all abusers run around angry and out of control. There is no textbook abuser. They come in all shapes, sizes and temperaments. That’s the scary thing too.

In this particular case, I don’t think Lamar is thinking far enough into it to want to appear cool and calm. In this case, I don’t see him as being the subtle, manipulative abuser who cares how good he looks to the rest of the world. Instead, I see him as the loud, in-your-face (alleged) abuser with a severe case of tunnel vision. Right now, it seems like he has a one-track mind. All he cares about is getting Khloe back. The solution? Get in her face and yell at her because you love her and you want her back. Go on TMZ and yell about how you love her and you want her back.
I’m not saying the TMZ interview is definite proof that he’s stalking and harassing her, but I also don’t think it’s proof that he isn’t. I don’t see him as the type of abuser who’s still trying to manipulate his image in a positive light, so it makes sense that he’d go to TMZ and yell about it some more.
However, we do know that Lamar is prone to volitile and angry tirades while he’s on drugs and when he isn’t on them. Also, no one should be calling him an physical abuser? As far as we know, this was an isolated incident in which he caused her to feel unsafe by stalking her and proceeding to grabbing her. I’m just sayin…serious allegations. He has issues, but has he been know to hitting women? Not to my knowledge
What is wrong with these men. At least Kris Humphries got away for that mess around a family, but Lamar Odom please stop. Count your blessings and just leave Khloe Kardashian alone, let her new sucker of a boyfriend have the catastrophies in his life. You need to move on and focus on your own family.

Exactly!! The public has become so desensitized to any struggles this family encounters. From Kim’s fertility battle to Kourtney being a single parent, it’s hard to sympathize with this family who has no grip on reality. I do feel bad for Khloe, but it comes with an air of skepticism.
I just posted a similar sentiment above before I saw your post. It truly is hard to believe anything that comes out of a Kardashians mouth because they are proven and shameless liars.
But when has she ever set out to hurt and make Lamar look bad ever? She was enabling him for the longest and she truly loved (and may still love) him. C’mon now, there are receipts for this. Let’s not pretend that she wasn’t riding for him and he abandoned her and their marriage at one point.
Exactly. Everything they do is manufactured for attention, so if and when something happens for real, people are going to be skeptical.
If this does turn out to be true, then I hope she takes precautions to protect herself and that he gets whatever help he needs, but beyond that, sorry, just don’t trust anything regarding that family.
I actually believe Lamar on this one. I was once stalked by an ex and had to get the dean and campus authority involved so please don’t tell me how scary having a stalker is. I know first hand. From the moment I said it was over he went berserk and only stopped when threatened with expulsion and jail time.
The reasons I believe Lamar are:
1. Stalking usually does not start happening a year or more after the breakup, it happens as soon as you leave him. He has – according to the KKK – been a user and a loser for a very long time, so it’s not like falling off the wagon has triggered this. She has slept around for a while, so it is not news of a relationship that has triggered this. In short I don’t see what could have all of a sudden sent him so over the edge so that he starts stalking her out of the blue.
2. She has made claims that she cared for him, she’d still be married to him etc – she has brought him up and into the narrative fairly recently, including statements that they still talk often and are in touch. Someone you are willing to be in touch with and admit you talk to is not stalking you. You are having some form of relationship. Maybe a toxic one, but a mutual relationship nonetheless.
3. She has had zero story line recently so hey, what a great way to bring on the drama.
4. I thought none of them moves a step without a driver, body guard, and at least two cameras to capture all the angles. But all of a sudden she is out and about daily at 6:45 am to work out and she is parading all alone depending on innocent bystanders to intervene??? Ha ha ha – when would she get all her her beauty sleep then after her partying, and where is the entourage?
I think this was a total setup. Could I be wrong? Sure, and Ben may not have slept with the nanny who is just playing him for $ because of his rep. But usually if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck… That being said, if K is truly scared and Lamar is a devious stalker who has waited all this time until the divorce was actually finished to start terrorizing her, then by all means lawyer up, get the bodyguards to earn their salary and freeze him out. But that wouldn’t get ratings….

THIS. This right here is basically all the explanation anyone should need. Khloe’s own inability to keep track of her lies once again blew up in her face. I 100% believe she asked him to be there.

Absolutely. If it’s abuse, I feel for her (but luckily she has resources galore, eg., lawyers, bodyguards and security). However, I have a very hard time believing anything anybody with a K name has to say. If he’s just getting upset now, over Harden, then that is a little hard to believe, as Khloe has been with quite a few guys (as a single woman has a right to do), and they’ve all been very well publicized.
Bingo. I care a lot about domestic violence, but everything with this family is scripted. I have a really hard time caring about anything “real” that happens to them because I don’t believe they know what reality actually is. Everything they do has an angle to it.
I think people aren’t being blasé, I think people are being skeptical. If this were anybody other than a Kardashian, I think we’d be far more inclined to accept the facts of what happened. But the Kardashians have demonstrated time and time again that they will do just about anything, including staging fights, interventions, etc. – for the cameras.
Is it possible Lamar is off the rails and stalking Khloe? Yes. But it is also possible that she called him and set him up? If it were almost anyone else, I’d say no. But them? I don’t know. This is the same family that leaked super-descriptive stories about Lamar being a crackhead (even though he only copped to pill abuse) and all kinds of things. I genuinely believe that Lamar is a messed up person who should retreat from the limelight altogether and get some help. But that also means that he’s probably very vulnerable and/or easy to manipulate right now – and I don’t put it past that family to take advantage.
I also tend to think her yelling “How did you find me” was a ploy, because, frankly, there are tons of videos of Khloe frequenting the gym and other places. Many celeb stalkers have noted that it is incredibly easy to track many of them, especially those who court the paps.
So I don’t think we, as a group, are being blasé or uncaring towards Khloe. But we are being skeptical given her family’s track record.
She could have tweeted where she was going to be. It’s become easier to stalk celebrities because many of them tweet their every move.

That’s why they’re lying and saying Lamar is stalking Khloe now…because so many media outlets are joining Perez Hilton and vouching to not report on these trolls for a while. So they’re pulling out all the stops in an effort to force people to continue reporting on them.
I’m curious to see how not being covered will affect their celebrity status since so much of their fame is dependent on tabloid coverage.
I just read his post, I don’t usually read his site. I don’t know why he is doing it, banning the K’s for a week or so, but I did like and applaud his idea of featuring inspirational women instead of K posts.

I completely agree. I feel bad for Lamar. I think he was used by the Kardashians and wasn’t secure enough in his sobriety to withstand the casual drug use that surrounds that family and their friends.
I have actually seen Lamar many times in my neighborhood, even when he was supposedly “missing” when Khloe couldn’t find him to serve him divorce papers. I think he has some struggles, but he also seems like a decent person. I think he really loved her. She loved her fame more.
So because Khloe claimed it we are just suppose to believe it? Because random faces said its true? There are two people here telling two different sides. So who are we suppose to believe? And do we have any other evidence of Lamar stalking or being abusive to Khloe before because those are pretty heavy allegations. And last I knew no police report or evidence. Except hearsay and a dark picture. Not to mention they got one photo but where’s the rest? And quite frankly neither one of them are the most honest upstanding individuals so I don’t blame a single soul for questioning it or wanting to wait until more facts come out. The Kardashians are known for smear campaigns , manipulating the truth or out right lying and always playing the victim so it’s hard to know fact from fiction. And considering once again some scandal happens right after negative media attention it makes people wonder. It’s ok to want facts , it’s ok to question something. And take a moment to think about it. If this indeed happened to Khloe than she should follow the proper steps to make sure he stays away. With all that said it doesn’t mean Khloe can’t be a victim or this didn’t happen but it’s hard to know who to believe here.

Cameras did not capture the “attack”? Unlikely. Cheeses – that would have been ratings gold. Or maybe they’re saving that video/pic for her show? Who knows with these people.
He had problems before her, and it seems they’ve just escalated. She’s one of those ‘I can change him’ women (she’s the only one who didn’t give up on her brother) and that rarely works. She’d be wise to stop all contact with him.
When a family manipulates and stages every single part of their lives it becomes hard to believe anything they say or do. It’s all for the cameras. Furthermore, she literally JUST did an interview about how she loves Lamar to death and they talk multiple times a week.
If Khloe is telling the truth, then my heart goes out to her. But it wouldn’t surprise me if she wasn’t.
One really cannot fault the public for greeting anything Kardashian with a fair amount of skepticism. That being said IF Lamar is a threat I hope Khloe takes the necessary precautions to protect herself.
He seems like he’s “on something” in the video. He can’t blame his ex-wife or his former family in law for his drug addiction and how his career tanked because of it. That’s on him. The NBA gave the guy tons of chances to redeem himself and he blew every one of them due to alleged “injuries.” He was too hurt to play/earn a living but not too hurt to be photographed at nightclubs every night.
I am always skeptical of people who say they’re gonna spill the beans but never do… it usually means they don’t have anything and are just trying to deflect, change the subject, etc. It was Kim Richards’ go-to ploy on RHOBH every time someone questioned her sobriety.

It’s hard to know what is true with the Kardashians. Whatever happened to that kid who allegedly followed Kim into a doctor’s office screaming obscenities and Kanye fought him. I think it was when she was pregnant with North. That story disappeared quickly.
The fact that he’s threatening to spill secrets if “something like this happens again”, tells me that he most likely DID ambush her and it’s getting into abusive territory…scary. My abusive ex would ALWAYS threaten to tell my friends and family any dirt he had on me in order to strong arm me into talking to him. Ugh.

His TMZ rant makes a lot of vague allegations… but no specific rebuttals. Just a lot of deflection in general. And he definitely seems like he’s on something in that video.
I actually tend to believe that in this case it wasn’t staged, or if they did set him up by letting him know where Khloe would be, no one anticipated that it would get so out of hand. Either way, there are eyewitnesses to the event, and it sounded scary. She SHOULD be taking steps to protect herself.
YES, I do believe him because at the risk of “sounding” like a broken record because I’ve said this on other posts… Khloe has mentioned his name in every interview she gives, claims profusely that she wishes they were still married, says that he is the one for her and always will be, and has openly admitted to still being in constant contact with him.
So what can we deduct from that? When you keep an open line of communication and you go in interviews and profess your great love for the man, he is not stalking you, you are INVITING conversation.
How did he know where she was? Do we even need to acknowledge this? First of all, she talks to him all of the time, and second, she has admitted herself that she keeps in contact with Lamar regularly.
This might actually be the ugliest stunt these trolls have ever pulled. And let’s be serious, there are media outlets who were promising to stop reporting on them for a month and then this happens?

If I’m not mistaken, Lamar lives in Las Vegas. So how would he know to meet her at soul cycle (at 6 in the morning no less!) in LA if he wasn’t invited? Also, the picture of her & Lamar together are weird. They are dressed for the winter and Khloe has dark hair (she’s currently blonde) so who’s to say she. That pic was actually taken. I don’t trust any of them to be honest and I do believe Lamar was set up for a possible storyline for Khloe.

Why didn’t you include the first part of this video where he is talking about Khloe? He straight up said he lives in Las Vegas and he was told when and where to meet her. He also said he didn’t touch her or grab her. I believe him. Doubt always comes especially when the timing is so convenient. Kim K FDA warning for wrong advertising on her instagram and Tyga, Kylie romancing it up in Mexico. Friends to lovers since turning 18! Maybe Khloe is simply over Lamar and ready to burn him! This will make for juicy discussions over salad for a good 4-5 shows. Sorry, just doesn’t seem like that extreme of an encounter. I’ve had extreme encounters with an ex and this was mild.
