Surprising no one, Kelly Clarkson is knocked up again! Kelly and her husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed baby girl River Rose in June 2014. Kelly fell instantly in love with her baby, with motherhood, with all of it. She had gone on record saying that she wanted more babies, as soon as possible. And now it’s happening!
And a baby makes four! Kelly Clarkson spilled some seriously exciting news during her Los Angeles concert at Staples Center tonight—that she’s pregnant with her second child!
The former American Idol star told the packed crowd, “This is not how I wanted to announce [that I’m pregnant]. My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn’t want you to think I’m on pills or something.”
She added, “I would like to apologize to my husband. This was not planned. I’m just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven’t vomited yet. That’s a win y’all.”
The exciting news comes after Clarkson’s famously difficult first pregnancy, which she described months after giving birth to her little girl River Rose Blackstock back in June 2014. In fact, during an interview on BBC’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show she shared that she was hospitalized and had an overall “bad pregnancy, so I had to take off way more time than normal.”
And in a sit-down with ET Canada, the crooner recalled how she suffered from many complications, including losing her famous voice shortly after giving birth, and initially didn’t know how to handle all of the her health concerns.
“Afterwards was the part where I literally had a moment where I cried and drank wine all day,” she explained. “I was like, ‘Oh God, I’m not going to be a singer anymore.’ I was bawling to my husband and completely hammered, just going, ‘Oh my God, it’s over. I don’t know what I’m going to do I guess I could do more charity work.’ I didn’t know what I was going to do.”
Part of the reason I love Kelly as a celebrity is that she’s able to tell the truth while still being an overwhelmingly positive person. She’s really funny too, and she’s probably riding a wave of hormones. She just wanted to tell people about the pregnancy! Well, I’m happy for her. I hope Kelly’s unhinged haters won’t climb on her ass about her weight as well.

I really enjoy Kelly and out of all the concerts and festivals I have ever been to – which is a ridiculous number – Kelly’s has always remained in my top three. She has such great energy, is very relatable and you can’t help but want to root for her. It’s sad to see people try and bring her down because of her weight. Like she’s personally trying to offend them or something!
As far as the hormones , I hear ya girl. My 2nd pregnancy I was all over the place. I was like what is going on here! 😂

I had to tell a couple of my patients that I’m pregnant (super early…first pregnancy), because I had a wave of nausea that made me really pale and clammy during one of my visits.
I’m trying to keep it under wraps, but it’s so exciting. I would announce mine to a stadium if I could. Lol
Does it feel like you are hung over? That is how I felt the first 3 months. If I could throw up I would feel better just like a hangover.
