Here are some assorted photos of Cara Delevingne in London over the past few days. There are three different fashion looks to discuss. The ultra-short black feathered dress is Burberry, and that’s what she wore to Sunday night’s London premiere of Pan photos. I forgot Cara is in Pan – she plays Mermaid (Rooney Mara plays Tiger Lily, because of course). A big to-do happened at the premiere because Cara, in full view of the cameras, leaned over the barricades to take some photos with fans and since her dress was so short, she flashed some butt cheek and her underpants – go here to see.
I’m also including photos of Cara at the Louis Vuitton launch event this weekend – she wore a baggy suit and brought her girlfriend St. Vincent. I’m assuming the suit is LV, right? And Cara and St. Vincent were also at the Burberry show on Monday, and Cara was once again wearing head-to-toe Burberry. She’s starring in the My Burberry perfume campaign alongside Kate Moss. If you’re forcing me to choose my favorite look, I guess it’s the Burberry show look, just because I like that jacket.

Love the jacket, skirt and boots. She gets on my nerves, perhaps she will grow out of trying too hard to look like she’s not trying too hard.
That’s just it. She’s like a teenager who gives all f**cks shouting out how she doesn’t give a f**ck.
Word.
I would love the jacket/skirt combo if the skirt wasn’t transparent. Can we finally retire the trend of knickers showing trough dresses?
Couldn’t agree more Franca!
It’s like they get halfway through dressing themselves, shrug their shoulders “meh that’ll do” and walk out the door.
I can’t help but think of sitting on a cold, strange chair when I see these transparent skirts. Yuk! I can see wearing it on the runway or some other appropriate location that doesn’t involve sitting, but she’s going to SIT and watch the show in that skirt. Nope.
Yes, please.
The first outfit is pretty, wish I could pull off a dress like that. (5’3 over here, no way no how)
Of course you can 🙂 I’m 5”4 and love wearing dresses like that. Never let your height stop you wearing what you want, Vogue doesnt dictate your happiness.
She looks stunning in the two last pictures, her eyes are hypnotizing, but when I scrolled down and saw her skirt I was like “woman, you forgot the lining under it”.
I used to really like her but since then she has started to believe her own hype and after that interview gate, I’m so over her. I can’t even handle looking at her pictures for too long, the smug radiates. I like her hair though.
I still for the life of me can’t understand how she became so famous.
Nepotism?
True star quality is dead, these days fame comes to anyone with the right connections, instead of actual talent, charisma and charm.
I’m not feeling any of this. The outfits are terrible, nothing I would ever wear and she looks greasy and dead-eyed in most pics. Eh no thanks
That last outfit looks like it came straight out of a Forever 21 or H&M. Not impressive.
I love the first Burberry dress…very cute. Why is all the Burberry stuff that I see at Saks boring jackets and conservative ugly sweaters with that check pattern on it??
I don’t actively dislike her. I just don’t get what the fuss is all about. Her look is interesting when she works with good photographers and stylists but she’s actually not that good looking IRL. Then there’s the nepotism thing, and the way she managed to snag parts in Hollywood without an hour of acting training. She won most promising new comer after a 5 min part.Feels like someone wants to force her down our throats sometimes.
You look at models like Jordan Dunn, who is just as stunning on a red carpet as in editorials and you wonder why people like suki and cara get so much more exposure.
Then you remember that jourdan is working class ( and black).
I just feel our country ( UK) awards opportunities so easily to the posh and well connected. Literally all the actors and celebrities that is exported abroad are posh.
It’s a weird representation of my country.
All countries give easy opportunities to the posh and well connected. And then, after the posh and well connected achieve success, they make tearful statements about how hard the road was and we are supposed to believe them AND MANY PEOPLE ACTUALLY BELIEVE THEM!
To some degree. But the UK is much worse than most European countries. I recently visited Scandinavia. It’s much more egalitarian. The class divide is not as noticeable. It’s not about class there as much, it’s more about your level of education. The UK is a really diverse society. London is the most diverse city in the world. But for some reason we worship everyone with a posh surname or a rich parent. It breeds mediocrity IMO.
It depends. In my country private schools are rare and laughed at and the only way into acting is going to the Academy of Dramatic Art which is a state university and, like all universiites in Croatia, free. And of course, because we were under communism forso long, there are no “posh” people.
Of course rich kids have it much easier, but that’s mostly in bussiness, culture is still excluded from it.
Is she ever photographed without the smirk or the petulant pout?
I used to really dislike her but not anymore, I think the girl is growing up. I think she’ll turn out OK.
But no, I don’t like any of the outfits. The skirt is interesting but needs a liner.
She looks like hell- like life is a non -stop party with barely enough time to wash off last nights make- up, but the outfits are phenomenal.
love the shoes! they are too cool, are they Burberry?
I was indifferent to Cara and after the interview issue, started to pay attention to her. Actually being one of Swifty’s set put me off her. But she seems like she doesn’t take herself too seriously and could be a fun person to hang with – if one is in their late teens, early twenties.
I saw a video of her in a black mask doing a lip sync to Shania Twain and it was pretty funny.
She is like the smug/overconfident version of KStew. Like maybe she is cooler and isn’t as bratty and “over it” as KStew is, but right now that’s all I’m getting.
I love the jacket and pants outfit. I’d love the jacket skirt combo if the skirt wasn’t sheer. I’m with those who can’t wait for the sheer skirt trend to end.
