This story comes from Star Magazine, and although they’ve had some correct leads recently they’re still prone to heavy embellishment and fabrication so take it for what it is. In their inset cover story that claims “Split! Trial Separation for Brad and Angelina,” Star repeats their story from last week that Brad and Angelina are sleeping apart, and adds the detail that Angelina is furious over Jennifer Aniston’s multiple attempts to contact Brad while he’s in New York:
Jen has been in Manhattan filming The Baster, and sources tell Star she was determined to arrange a get-together with Brad, who was watching the kids at the Waldorf-Astoria while Angie filmed Salt. “Jen made two appointments at the hotel’s Guerlain Spa, hoping she would run into Brad,” an insider says. But she wasn’t leaving it all to chance. “Jen called Brad to say she was in New York and would love to see him,” the insider reveals. “She wanted to talk to him about some things on her mind. Brad was only too happy to catch up.”
When Angelina arrived back at their hotel on March 24 after a long, grueling day on the set, Brad let her know he’d decided to meet Jen for lunch. But for Angie, it wasn’t just a simple lunch date – it was yet another instance of Jen crowing their relationship. Angie was blindsided, shocked and hurt. “She yelled at him for a half-hour,” and insider says. Brad couldn’t get a word in to explain, and Angie wasn’t interested in listening to his excuses. “She walked out of the room and told Brad, ‘I can’t even look at you right now.'” Her chauffeur picked her up, and she rode around the city for hours, stewing.
When Angie returned, she still hadn’t cooled off. “She confronted Brad with, ‘Don’t you dare try to see her!'” a friend reveals…
Livid, Angie stormed into the kids’ rooms and told them to get their things together quickly. “She told them they were going on another adventure,” the insider says. As they gathered their toys, “she pulled Brad into her bedroom and hissed, ‘We are leaving the city right now!'”

Is this just creative fiction from Star? Probably. It’s not like they’re privy to the intimate details of Brad and Angelina’s spats. It could be true that Aniston booked some spa appointments at the hotel where Brad is staying for whatever reason, maybe because she knows the place and has a favorite masseuse there. She also might have called him to say hello, as she’s admitted in interviews that they talk occasionally. It’s highly doubtful that Angelina freaked out and moved all the kids to Long Island because of Aniston, if this even happened.
Meanwhile the Daily News has a cute story about how Aniston is loving life after her split notorious blabber John Mayer. She was at a Paul McCartney concert on Saturday night with friends and was seen looking a hot guy up and down. Now that story I believe.

Funny how Angelina and Brad always fight in front of “friends” and “insiders” who apparently memorize perfectly every word they say. Wait, weren’t they fighting in their bedroom? C’mon, what couple, especially a famous one, would have this super nasty fight in the bedroom with “friends” and “insiders” watching? So unrealistic…
But, I admit that the mental of image of Angelina yelling: ‘‘Don’t you dare try to see her!’’ is priceless. Too hilarious for words…lol
These stories are actually pretty amusing these days. You’re right CB… how can anyone know the details of any of their private conversations – right down to Jen called Brad, Brad said ‘yes’, Angie got mad and took the kids on another ‘adventure’? It’s time for another story line.
On another note, there’s a story floating around out there about AJ collapsing on the set of Salt. Is that true?
Wait! Jen and Brad both in New York City, let’s worth the Jen tries to arrange a meeting with Brad to go over her hurt feelings from 5 years ago again. Throw in the Angie storms out furious angle too and voila! the cee’s of the world soak it all up.
Sounds to me like AJ should have stolen Jen’s agent too, who obviously negotiated a much better filming schedule for Jen than AJ got. Grueling 15 hour days as opposed to long lunches with the ex-husband and spa treatments while vaguely filming a scene here and there. I doubt very much that Jen has time for any of this if she’s also filming.

Please, please, please give me a job at one of these rags. I’d love to get paid to make stuff like this up and I’m sure I’d be good at it! Something like Brad agree to meet but brought AJ. When JA saw her walk into the restaurant she started screaming “I’ll get one of my deranged fans to kill you then those kids will be mine, all mine! just like they should have been”. Then AJ collapsed on the floor because she hasn’t eaten in 6 years. Now, isn’t that much more entertaining?

On the other post about the Star’s story about Brad and Angie supposedly sleeping apart–and you’re right, Marianne, once again their every private word or thought was overheard by ‘someone close to the couple’LOL–I said the next one in the line-up would be about Brad and Jen arranging “secret meetings”, or something hinting about their ongoing relationship.
Things must be pathetic when you can actually predict these stories…who is reading this? Are they really still selling magazines with these bs stories?
I don’t under why Jen would want to go any where near Brad. I think Jen is mentally I’ll. I would not want to go any where near my ex. If she is trying to see Brad then the whole divorce was Jen’s fault and she a truck load of guilt. Brad needs to write a tell all book about Jen to get rid of her for good. What friends? I’ve never seen pictures of Angelina hanging out with girlfriends – even before she had all the kids. At least Jen has friends. Men come and go, but you can always count on your girlfriends. I guess she’s one of those women that only cares about attention from men. As beautiful as she is, Angelina seems really pathetic and insecure.
That’s because Angelina doesn’t hang out where paparazzi gather. She’s had the same set of friends for years – they’re godparents for her children, etc. She doesn’t HAVE to surround herself with other famous “friends.”

I wonder why we pay attention to the tabloids, the majority of the people who post on this site appear to be reasonable individuals..I do say that with a cocked eyebrow. However, the tabloids are going beyond what is acceptable and why they are not sued by Aniston and Jolie is beyond me. After all one must assume these are two reasonable intelligent women who are in control of their careers. They are both wealthy, beautiful and in charge of their lives. Obviously we the public are the ones who feed the machine, maybe we should be more responsible for what we accept and what we generate.
