Seeing Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer (Beeel, ©MK at DListed) makes me miss True Blood. Sure the last few seasons were tedious at times but I just loved the characters so much. I wanted to dress goth and go hang out at Fangtasia, willing Eric to notice me. I know some people found Sookie annoying, and she could be at times, but more than that I wanted to be her. She got in a lot of perilous situations, but she got to bang the hottest guys so it seemed worth the trade off.
In real life Anna and Stephen have been married since 2010 and they have three year old twins, son Charlie and daughter Poppy. (Plus Stephen has two kids from his previous marriage.) Apparently some people speculated online that Anna Paquin was pregnant, since she was wearing a full dress that bulged out slightly at the waist. She shut that down quickly with this Instagram pic:

Anna and Stephen were at the premiere for The Good Dinosaur, a Pixar animated film in which she voices a character. It’s out next week and is based on the premise that an asteroid never hit the earth, that the dinosaurs didn’t face mass extinction and that dinosaurs and humans coexisted and sometimes became unlikely pals, getting into adorable adventures. Here’s the trailer. It’s a kids film coming out around a holiday so it should do well at the box office.
I’m a professional gossip so I’ve been guilty of wondering aloud whether celebrities are pregnant. We try not to do that much because it’s often the way the dress lays, which we’ll usually say. It must suck to be a celebrity on social media and I love how Paquin just very blatantly responded. She’s awesome. That dark hair though, I hope it’s for a role. (She’s filming a TV miniseries of Roots now so maybe that’s it.) I miss blonde Sookie. Please let there be a True Blood special or movie. I know, but I would watch it several times and eat up every moment. I’ve already seen the first two seasons twice.

REALLY dark hair is not flattering on her and neither is REALLY light hair. She needs something in-between like an auburn or honey-blonde, even a warm med brown would be better than this.

I thought I’d heard that Burton was a producer, but I didn’t see his name in a quick look at imdb.com. The main character is being played by a British actor named Malachi Kirby who was apparently on EastEnders.
I work in a public library and the dvd set of the original “Roots” gets checked out all the time, so people are still watching it. I can see why Hollywood would maybe want to film an update, tho.

The dark hair doesn’t bother me so much but the way it is styled is awful.
I kind of like the dress, the detailing looks pretty. People are ridiculous with the celebrity bump watch.
TB did go off the rails and had a lot of problems, but it was really fun.
The detailing is pretty, fun too, especially with the matching shoes. The only problem I see is the waistline, it’s placed too high and creates that unfortunate pregnant effect.
Sigh. I miss True Blood too.
I probably miss Lafayette most of all.

The characters and the whole small town setting was really good.

That first pic, they both look like they are posing the blue steel f#*k out of it. I do love them both though, & she doesn’t look fat or up the duff to me. I loved the start of the TB serious, it was hot and I’m a sucker for small town story stuff, which I felt this really captured. By the end I gave up, to the point of not even watching the last seasons. Now I’m pondering if I should…
I loved TB until season 5 or 6, then it was like watching your favorite flower die.
If THAT is what pregnant or fat looks like, can I get in on it? Because Anna looks great, she was never a “play it safe” starlet so I like this look on her.

I haven’t read the last two, but they got worse and worse as they progressed especially after the Eric love story.
The fairy stuff was awful. I enjoyed the first few seasons though – one of the few shows my boyfriend and I both liked.
There are some boring/stupid parts in all seasons, but definitely more in seasons 5 and 6.
OMG, the books got so, so bad. I disliked the way the series ended, but the couple of books prior to that were super boring too. The first group were fun, quick reads, but it went on way too long.
Anna always gets SUPER defensive on social media. It’s really weird. I remember someone once asked her if she’s tired and she went on this like 15 minute Twitter rant about how she has kids that don’t sleep and are a nightmare to take care of and how her husband is working and so on.
yeah ut sucks that people feel they can call celebrities mean things, but she really can’t deal with social media. And her makeup here is awful.
Twitter users need to learn not to make personal comments if they don’t want a response. Why the hell should people say what they like and not get told to take a hike. They wouldn’t say it to her face.
I personally think it’s really rude to tell someone they look tired. That is just telling someone they look terrible or they have bags under their eyes. Some people always have bags and may not be tired at all so it just comes off as an insult instead.
I think its rude to make a comment about anyone’s face period. I personally can’t stand it when people ask me if I’m mad or sad just because I’m not smiling.

Moyer really is amazing in The Bastard Executioner. He does that character so much better than Bill (I gave up on TB pretty quickly). I’m so sad that TBX got cancelled , and of course we’ll never know what happens…

Oy. I think she’s so pretty but neither the Sookie blond not whatever this color is are great on her. She looks so cute with her natural color, some people just shouldn’t change it too drastically. I’m one of those people. Too light will make me look green-ish, too dark will make me look … well, like her right now. It’s no bueno. Why ugly it up like this?
I don’t miss TB. I miss Eric and Ginger and of course Pam but that show was like a car crash from season 5 onward.
This is not a good look for her- she looks like she eats nails for breakfast! The movie sounds cute- when my kids were little, it was The Land Before Time. Kids are endlessly fascinated with dinosaurs!

I love how she’s like “I’m not fat, thanks.” I hope she believes it, because she’s not. Most people would probably question whether they are fat or not and endeavor to lose 10 pounds prior to their next public appearance. Fat is really the last frontier, isn’t it? Most people would rather be called anything but “fat.” Sad.

I’m sorry for coming outright and saying this: She looks awful. She looks old and she looks too pale. Nope, sorry, not doing anything for me. She looks much better with lighter hair, not necessarily blonde but not this.
She’s not fat but she *has* gained weight. I remember after she had her twins, she lost the babyweight right away and was almost too thin…probably the demands of the True Blood role. But now that she’s not working on that show, she’s allowing herself to eat a bit more. I don’t think she looks fat..she looks like a normal person, not a Hollywood person..I guess that’s what I’d say. I noticed that everyone on True Blood was either really thin (the female actors) or really buff (the male actors) so I’m sure the stars were under serious pressure to look good on that show. She’s not naturally thin anyway- I saw her in this film yrs ago “The Squid and the Whale” and she was a lot heavier so I think that’s her natural build, so to speak.
I remember hearing other cast mates talking about how hard she worked out for TB, so she’s probably eased back on that a bit now, I can’t imagine having twins and going back to a show that required so much skin!
The actresses who played Tara and Pam both got thinner as the show progressed too. I imagine there was a lot of pressure on most of the cast, given how often the clothes came off on that show.
I remember an interview Kristen Bauer gave. She said nobody on that show eats except for Alex and Joe Mangiello. Sounds about right.
I love that dress and her shoes are cool too! I’ve never thought she was fat ever. The hair is too dark for her and she doesn’t seem happy in some of those shots but hey anyone can take a bad picture every now and then!

She’s super short, so even 5 lbs of healthy weight gain looks like more. I agree it sucks that celebs are always trolled for Bump Watch, but that being said, choose a more flattering dress. If it has a puffy shape, or the lines are not flattering to the body’s curves, don’t be surprised when people ask what you’re hiding under there. Or just don’t go on the RC at all. Or get off social media. SM must be public enemy #1 for publicists.
