Nadya Suleman applying for WIC federal assistance to buy babies’ food

mx0179947

Though she’s often said she’ll figure out a way to provide for her eight new babies, Nadya Suleman clearly didn’t mean she’d figure out a way to provide for them on her own. Today she told her local paper that she’s probably going to be applying for WIC, the federal government’s Women, Infants and Children program. It provides food and healthcare to children under the age of five – along with their mothers.

Nadya Suleman said she is contemplating applying for federal assistance to feed her 14 children. “If I need to apply for (the Women, Infants and Children program) to provide my babies with formula, then I’m going to,” she said Wednesday.

WIC provides federal grants to states for food, health care referrals and nutrition education for low-income women and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk. According to its site, a family of 15 would have to make more than $112,480 through June 30 to be ineligible for the WIC program.

Under the program, the octuplets, the six older children under age 8, and Suleman, 33, can receive baby formula, cereal, milk, cheese, vegetables and juice. Suleman, who gave birth to the world’s longest-surviving octuplets Jan. 26 at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, said it would cost $2,000 a month for baby formula alone.

“That’s a lot of money for formula,” she said. Suleman said her priority is to feed her children and not worry about scrutiny regarding public assistance. “I have to let go of what people think. I can’t live like that,” she said.

[From the Whittier Daily News]

$2,000 is a lot of money to spend on baby formula every month. And obviously the state won’t give her aid if she makes more than $112,480 a year. But I can’t help but think that Suleman should still be better prioritizing her finances. I can’t get over that one of the first things she did was have a Jacuzzi tub installed in her bathroom. I’ll forgive the dishwasher because that’s a necessity when you’ve got 14 kids and probably have to do multiple loads a day. But I don’t see how she could explain away the Jacuzzi.

It is a shame that the taxpayers have to foot the bill for Suleman’s poor choices. But obviously the priority is to feed the babies, and nothing else compares with that. According to Wikipedia, Suleman will be able to buy eggs, cheese, milk, bread, peanut butter, tuna, juices, dry beans, fruits, vegetables, cereals, and infant formula. So basically most of the essentials except for meat (if you believe that meat is essential). The food that is WIC-approved is always the lowest cost item and most often the generic.

I go back and forth on whether it’d be better for Nadya to do a reality show and/or keep selling her story so she can at least pay for her own kids, or if she shouldn’t be able to “profit” off her bad choices, but would end up on state/federal aid. Both sides have big drawbacks. It bothers me to no end that she never had any plan in place and threw all her money into getting pregnant instead of providing for her children. She always just responded that she knew something would work out. Yeah… everyone else will work it out for her. It’s not ideal, but I guess at this point it is what it is.

Here’s Nadya on March 11th. Images thanks to Mavrix.

    I agree JayBird.

I really think the babies at least she be taken away and given to families who would love them and take great care of them. None of these children will get the attention they so need and deserve.

It will mentally and emotionally cripple them for the rest of their lives.

  2. photo jojo says:

This is why women don’t naturally have eight babies. Two boobs, people!!

  3. Mel says:

Did she think that feeding, clothing, housing 14 children would be inexpensive!?!?! This is only the beginning. Clearly she didn’t think at all. This woman is ill, and I am so sick of seeing her disgusting butt hole lips! Enough!

  4. Gigohead says:

That’s right, Nayda should breast feed to supplement her babies. It would save money on formula.

  5. Seven says:

The sad thing is that she’ll probably get it. the state can SEE clearly all the money shes getting for interviews and such shit, yet she’ll be given something that is meant for people who honestly cant afford food for their child(ren). She can buy all that surgery and designer clothes / make up but she cant feed the children who made her famous to begin with.

    shes a sad individual.

  6. Henny Penny says:

She’s too unstable and paranoid to do a reality show. It will never work out. Facing facts, she needs to get assistance, because she’s broke, has too many kids to care for, no stable income, and is not mentally able to be a provider. I feel so sorry for her kids, they never asked for this. And this woman should never have been allowed to do abuse IVF.

  7. TaylorB says:

Oh for crying out loud. She just said she fired the AIW folks because she didn’t want the ‘public’ to pay for it. Yet she is applying for WIC. Who does she think pays for WIC? Free food fairies? That woman is an enigma wrapped up in a riddle, and not in a good way.

  8. Sara Tinely says:

Why does she dress like a teenager? It really bothers me. I think after 30 Holister is just faux pas.

  9. ThatBKChick says:

(((((CRICKETS)))))….And Kicking Rocks….Should be honestly surprised that this was coming……We all knew that she was going to lean on the system of the taxpayers (medical expense of the premature babies, Foodstamps, WIC etc) to front this sideshow she created!!! Honestly…I am not trying to bask the woman, but at a time when there are women who honestly are having children who honestly did not plan to have mulitple children out of wedlock, who need the help, here comes this damned woman sucking up all the resources from women who honestly need the help!!!! She should be denied any benefits and the children should honestly go to a home or homes where they can be properly cared for and loved. I heard that Gloria Alred dropped her greedy azz!!!!! She will stand to make at least $3000-4000 a month alone off of foodstamps and WIC, not including AFDC/TANF..Not to mention that The cost of all this largess is $135,000 a month to care 24 hours a day for Suleman’s eight babies for Kaiser to provide around the clock care to ensure that she is suitable to care for all 14 children!!!!! DUDE…WHERE IN THE HELL IS MY STIMULUS CHECK BUT THIS IS OFF THE CHAIN!!!!!!

  10. Cate says:

Ah ha! More welfare for her to claim not to be one!

  11. someone says:

She lives in a 600 thousand dollar house, and she needs wic????

  12. Sandra says:

If she was in New York State, Welfare fraud will be all over this. She spent $1,000. at the MAC counter and has nannies, are they free. And she is always pictured alone. What’s up with that.

  13. Chiara says:

Monies she receives from the media could be paid to either of her parents to avoid any claims of income. She has an attorney who would gleefully accept the challenge : )

I say adoption is the answer … these babies will never receive the love, time, attention and direction they deserve.

  14. yadira says:

Did she do botox to her lips or surgical alter them into a duck bill? I mean, with botox…after a while aren’t they supposed to deflate? Or is she permanently going to look like this forever?

  15. for_realz says:

Are you serious?! They JUST raised sales tax in CA to 9.25%, and in some areas close to 10%…..

And now in addition to all the other fees for this litter of children the state has hogged up, she’s taking even more.

Yes, children need to eat and babies need formula, but how many other needy families could have benefitted from these funds??

  16. Vibius says:

I try to ignore her, but it seems like every other day she finds a way to piss me off. How much has she made from her partnership with radar? For interviews? This is the most selfish, self centered person in America.

Where does she think the government gets its money from?

  17. Eileen Yover says:

Botox doesn’t do that to your lips-she’s either had injections or implants in her lips. And I think she wears Hollister because somewhere in that dark delusional cavern we call Nadya’s brain is the thought “Maybe if I look exactly like Angelina Jolie, squeeze record breaking amounts of babies out, and wear the same brand everyday I’ll get a contract or free clothes.” In most cases if a celebrity finds a brand they like and gets photographed wearing or using it, companies send them huge amounts of their product.

  18. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

Ok but here’s the deal: Hollister clothing? Isn’t exactly inexpensive. She can’t work because she’s got all these tons of kids although you never see her with the kids and she has the state of California providing nannies all the time.

None of what she does makes ANY sense. She’s like a walking train wreck.

Oh and btw, WIC will only provide formula, cereal, milk and a few other things and that’s for the kids, not for her. They only provide that other food you listed and provide more for the mom if the mom is nursing, because nursing mothers need good nutrition. She’s not nursing, so she’ll get vouchers for formula, cereal, milk and probably juice and only for the babies and the kids under the age of five. Not for her and not tuna and carrots and dried beans, etc.

She makes some truly horrific choices. And everyone else pays. What happened to all the money she’s making from the video interviews and the media stuff, etc? All gone on Hollister clothing and makeup?

  19. Valensi says:

This woman is clearly mental – and a bit contradictory. And all the things she does make her seem so shady – always seen with a cup of Starbucks and spending $1,000 at MAC, and owning more Hollister jackets than my sister and I combined. But at the same time, if it’s for her children, then I guess we’ll have to let it slide. Cos they shouldn’t have to pay for her piss poor decisions. At least this way there’s always fresh material to use against her!

  20. zpup says:

Let’s not forget the doctor and the sperm donor that she went to 6 different times? Where is their portion of the support for their creations? Personally, I think that the state should sue the doctor for expenses of raising HIS implants. The mother, again, did not get 14 babies all by herself. The donor was stupid in agreeing, but the doctor was not looking out for the health of his patient or the outcome of the procedures HE was performing on to her. Totally unprofessional, not to mention, unethical.

  21. cmoody says:

Wow, she finds yet another way to be a parasite? It must be Thursday.

  22. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

zpup, it also pisses me off that the doctor seems to be getting off scot free from doing this–it was completely unethical and against medical standards to implant so many embryos.

  23. hatsumomogirly says:

you know, this really pisses me off to no extent.
My sister is a mother of two, her youngest just born two months ago, and when she went to go apply for WIC they denied her! She and her husband make about 30k a year, he construction and she is a home health aide, meaning she goes to elderly ppl’s home and cooks, cleans, and runs errands for them. One of the few perks of the job( cause there isnt many) is that she can take the baby with her and have him by her side every day. She went back to work 4 weeks after having the baby! and he works 7 days a week, taking side jobs for extra money. And WIC also told them to sell their cars if they wanted assistance!… he needs his truck for work and she needs her little Ion the kids and her work. How is this fair? They both bust their asses every day and Octomom can just sit back and have babies and give interviews about how everyone doesn’t understand her and still qualify for assistance! Where is all the money she is making pimping her kids? Why Doesn’t WIC suggest she sell her damn Jacuzzi? Or have a garage sale for all expensive clothes and MAC makeup?

  24. Cinderella says:

It is only a matter of time before this crackpot of a woman loses her kids, and what a lucky day it will be for them.

She is in no way shape or form fit to be a mother. I bet she doesn’t even know who is who amongst the 8.

  25. gigi says:

FYI…The Idiot’s house was purchased in her father’s name. Now her Mom & Dad are also out peddling their stories for $$$. The whole family is nuts. Those poor kids are swimming in a toxic gene pool.

  26. yae says:

She’s she’s worse than a parasite. She’s a vampire. Today is my son’s birthday. And to think of all the OVERTIME I had to do at work to get him the computer he’s now playing on tonight. She just struts around, no job, hired help, free everything.
And all us responcible people are paying for her. Get a JOB!!

  27. Rio says:

I’ve been bitched at for mentioning it before, but looking at the header pic…DAMN, I want this woman’s hair. That is some freakin’ gorgeous hair on her taxpayer-scammin’-mentally-unbalanced-narcissistic-loopier-than-a-bowl-of-Spaghetti-O’s head.

  28. Ash says:

Now she has just managed to make people who have a legitimate need for WIC look bad and like moochers.

If she has the supposed $1 million plus contract with Radar Online as claimed, then she would have to report that. Meaning she should be denied for WIC on that basis alone.

WIC went through my application with a fine tooth comb. And they still continue to review it on a tri-monthly basis. My daughter’s doctors had to write a medical note along with sending over some of her charts to prove that the formula she requires is 1) not available for retail sale in stores and 2) is medically required. Every month, the doctors have to send over a note saying she still requires the formula.

I cannot slight the children because yes, they do need to eat. And yes, 2 grand is a hell of a lot for formula. But she supposedly has at least a million dollars that she could use to buy their formula with. I didn’t have that luxury.

  29. raunnie says:

Since Octomom is nuts, the kids must be taken away from her and raised with mentally healthy parents who can give each child the time and attention they deserve. With this “mother” they are no better off than being raised in an orphanage since she is never around.

  30. eggy weggs says:

Are those extensions? Well, she has to look good when she’s going down to apply for public assistance.

  31. K.L. says:

The sad part is that WIC – in my opinion one of the best government assistance programs out there- is being abused in such a horrible fashion by this narcissistic, mentally unbalanced leach. When my husband and I applied for WIC here in Ohio, they were very thorough with our application. At the time, I was making $8/hr. and he was making $7/hr. respectively and we Barely made the assistance requirement for a family of 3 (which will be official in about 10 more weeks!)

So I want to know, how with as much exposure as this wench is getting, and I’m assuming money from all her self serving interviews, THE F***ING CPS AND FRAUD AGENCIES HAVEN”T SWOOPED IN ON HER LAZY ASS YET?! It’s despicable. Shame on the state of California.

  32. Rio says:

“Are those extensions? Well, she has to look good when she’s going down to apply for public assistance. ”

Honestly, I’m not sure they are. Usually with extentions, you can kind of see a “demarcation” line between the end-tips of the real hair laying on top of the longer extentions. I’m not seeing this here. I DO think she dyes her hair (I dye my hair the exact same shade of black) but I’m not seeing the sort of tell-tale “extention line” you see in, say, Linday Lohan.
Sorry if I seem to be obsessing on hair. I am a Hollywood Child, started “dong” my hair since I was 11, and honestly do not remember what my natural color is anymore, lol!

  33. Rio says:

GEEZ, forgive my typos. I will join the chorus in asking: “WHEN will the ‘edit’ option come back?!”

  34. nita says:

ok… first of all, if you can’t afford milk, cheese and formula DONT HAVE A FREAKING BABY!! wic, IMO is a joke. I’m sorry but when are people going to plan their life properly?! It is ridiculous to me that people that are THAT financially strapped are having kids. That is the problem with our society is that people that cant afford food are having babies. THINK BEFORE YOU PROCREATE!! I don’t care about all the sob stories, I work in a field where I see these women on a daily basis. The octomom is nothing new, THIS IS OUR WORLD, they are everywhere. If I had a nickel for every woman out there that has babies, is on welfare/wic and has a big screen TV and a nice manicure, I’d be rich. It’s disgusting. And for those of you who are struggling to make ends meet…DONT HAVE ANY (or any more) KIDS!!!!!!!!! If you can’t afford to buy essential food items, what kind of savings are you going to provide for your kids future? NONE, I’m sure and that’s just sad and irresponsible. Shame on anyone that has been on welfare for over a 6 month period and shame on anyone that is planning babies with no money for formula. I formula fed both my kids and I know how expensive it is, but guess what?! I planned for it! Crazy huh?!

  35. Jocelina says:

@ Nita – I think comparing this woman (who is, IMO, mentally ill) to regular folks who use WIC or welfare to make ends meet is a bit much. If you’re trying to say that you see women who have fourteen children under the age of ten (and are regularly featured in the national news media) on a daily basis… well, I won’t believe you, because that sounds ridiculous.

I feel sorry for anyone you work with who has to deal with your attitude, which seems judgmental in the extreme.

  36. Trashaddict says:

Octomom is the extreme. It does make sense that if you already have (only) one or two kids and can’t manage the bus fare to the pediatrician though, that you probably shouldn’t have more! Not judgement, just fact. That being said, I’ve seen a number of moms who got pregnant on birth control that failed or just never got on it. If birth control is not being offered at the WIC offices, maybe it should be. The last administration tried to stymie access, maybe now it will get better.

  37. LondonParis says:

I think she should keep on selling her story as long as she can. That way, those of us who have her as a secret guilty pleasure (hangs head in shame) can get their fill, she gets money, and the everyday person isn’t forced to give her a dime!

  38. KIDS atRISK says:

This LEACH will keep on draining everyone around her because she BELIEVES it is HER right to get WHATEVER she wants WITHOUT consequences. WE have Dr phil to thank for most of this. IF HE hadn’t given her a national BEG-a-THON & got kind-hearted do gooders to RENOVATE her new OCTO-sty, Octofreak would have HAD TO do it all on her own –OR ELSE THE KIDS WOULDN’T have been delivered into her dubious “care.” Every decision she made has been SICK, ill-advised and just plain STUPID. New house (roof leaks badly/toxic mold behind walls) & is TOO SMALL to secure her brood. She wastes money FLAGRANTLY on HERSELF and splurges LIKE SHE IS Angie-J (who she has spent a fortune TRYING to replicate). New house, new cars, jacuzzi (she actually LIED that it was a “gift”). Every word she says is either a LIE or not in reality. NOBODY would BUY her story of a loser leaching off society to avoid the hard work of a regular JOB. Better to EXPLOIT the babies than work HERSELF.

  39. SixxKitty says:

Where I live, you need a licence and an inspection to have a dog/puppy.
Says a lot about the medical field that gave her 14 children, 8 at once. Why are we so surprised she can’t pay for it, she clearly didn’t think to begin with, nor did the educated enablers who supplyed the means to do so, why can’t they pay for them?
Just me and my mouth, I know…

  40. Victoria says:

Man I hate this woman! Of course she applying for WIC! Why cant the state of CA investigate this PIG and then ask the burning question:”Where is all the money you got for interviews and such?” Oh wait she blew it all on make up, clothes and a jacuzzi. I say give this beast a reality show. She’ll make even more of a fool of herself than she already has. Especially if the whole point of the show is her “lookin for LUV”.

  41. stellapurdy says:

Why is anyone having babies they clearly can’t afford and expecting WIC or the taxpayers of this country to pay for this decision? I understand that people fall on hard times, become disabled or lose their jobs and need a hand up until they get back on their feet. However having children and expecting a the rest of society to foot the bill irresponsible.

  42. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

NITA: You really need to re-think your position there. My husband and I received WIC for about six months. Our daughter was 18 months to two years old in that time frame.

When we had our daughter, I had a college degree and was teaching and he was in the Army. When she was 18 months old, his enlistment was up and he decided to get out. He found work–at Home Depot. Not all Army post towns have lovely job opportunities and Alabama had a very depressed economy at the time. He was working all the hours they would allow him but we still were barely making it (NO debt, either!).

I sold my violin, he sold a few other things, but finally we had to apply for WIC. For six months, they gave us milk, cereal, and juice. It wasn’t much, but it helped stretch our food money a bit further and we survived as a result.

When she was two, we moved to another state and both got much better jobs and never used WIC again. We’ve never used any other type of public assistance other than that.

Sometimes, things happen. And you better thank your lucky stars you’ve never walked in those shoes. And be thankful programs like that are around to help people like us when we needed it.

    I know I was thankful.

  43. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

Oh and by the way, we only ever had ONE child, who is now a teenager and we now both make good money and have for years. I went on to get a master’s degree while working full-time and my husband finished college while working full-time. But I don’t begrudge families who need help because they’ve fallen on hard times. If you really do work in that field, it has turned you very bitter and angry and maybe you need to do something else for a while.

  44. Maritza says:

She obviously does not qualify for WIC cause she has made way over $112,480, the house alone that she bought cost more than that. And all those interviews add up. No way are they going to give her WIC.

  45. Ash says:

Wow Nita, your holier-than-thou attitude is so nice. I guess you have never been in a position where nobody and I mean NOBODY, not doctors, not nurses, no one knew your baby would be born with severe stomach problems at birth. Then being told the only formula your baby could have costs over $60 per can, over $200 per crate and oh yeah, you can’t go to Walmart to buy it. You want to begrudge my daughter something essential to her life? Her doctors filled out the WIC paperwork on our behalf just to ensure she could get what she needed.

Have you ever heard of people suddenly losing jobs or becoming disabled? If they didn’t have WIC to fall back on, they wouldn’t have anything. Not everyone has the luxury of having money left over after being paid. You want to allow children to go hungry because of your piss poor judgmental attitude? Then you madam, need to find a new job stat.

  46. jess says:

The state should refuse funding…no excuses and period. Anyone having such babies by design should automatically be dropped from public assistance. Let her live without things needed for her babies. Then take her kids from her when she can’t cope. Let her beg the state to take the kids from her. Let all the irresponsible women with wombs just like her watch her life get the appropriate consequences for her choices. The best way to help the babies is to FUND NOTHING! In vitro fertilization should disqualify anyone from state funding. Create a problem? You solve it! The most the state should do is take the babies once she begs them to!

  47. nanster says:

anastasiabea, I don’t think that nita was referring to people like you. By the way her post read, I think she’s had it with the “users and abusers” who don’t take responsibility for their own actions and see nothing wrong with taking from the taxpayers, not the couple who is down on their luck. Everyone goes through hard times – that’s what programs like WIC and public assistance are for. They are meant to temporary – not a lifetime supplement to make up for bad choices and irresponsibility. You and your husband sound like good people – the kind that deserve the help. I, personally, am sick of the people who have no qualms about taking what they can get from others, yet wear designer clothes, have french manicures, and purchase a jacuzzi tub for their $600,000 house – and still have no plan to provide for themselves.

  48. Eileen Yover says:

Anisatsia: I agree with you in that WIC is a great program. My mother used it with my brother when she got pregnant and the father took off never to be seen again. AND he told her he was snipped! So she was a 41 yr old single mother, broken hearted, and broke. Things happen and thank God there is one program out there for mothers. In other countries like Norway, mothers are PAID to stay at home with their children. They only have 1 or 2 and these children are given almost every opportunity available including free college all over the world. My friend when to school in China, Australia, and US. Then she took all her education and moved back to Norway. That’s how they benefit from the investment they put into each child-they come back and become extremely successful.

  49. tasteT says:

@thatbkchick, you had me laughing so hard!

    @Yadira, Duckbill lips, hilarious!

WIC is wonderful program that has helped plenty of people in a tight crunch–it was not created for the way that Octopussy is going to ride it.

A friend of mine, did not make much but was determined to start somewhere, so this helped her feed her little girl for about a year and now she has her Master’s degree and her daughter is in HS..I especially like it for the elderly also.

Octopussy is using it to feed 14 unplanned pregnancies, oh that’s right–she did overtime and saved..dumbass!

what a fantasy world, I guess her parents did not commit her because they’d be stuck w/the damn kids!!

This is a no win situation..

    Until they commit her…

Now, when you see he doctor, he is limping like he is handicapped and aging by the day..he KNOWS they will be coming after him..I would not be surprised if he did not give some sperm.

So she got a sperm donoation and kept it frozen abd kept going back..

How many of her kids are special needs out of this new bunch, they said a few were going to be..

This is not munchan hausen disorder but its something, where you want attention from having babies or having sick babies..she has 2 or 3 from the older grp w/special nds that she gets extra SSI for..

    lawdy

    Have a nice weekend everyone

  50. lalala_meri says:

ok first off, i hate the fact that she always wears hollister, shes like almost a 40 year old! C’mon, and everyone could already see how tight the clothes are on her! I think my 13 year old sister has that jacket! hah, and she also had my pink jacket lol! [that was on a magazine cover, with her babies. And Second, on the bright side, in this pic her hair actually looks nice, its usually in an ugly ponytail, so i dont know what she did, but her pair is pretty there!

  51. yae says:

Nita. When I had my son I was married. We had a $120,000 a year commercial landscape business. The my husband skipped state sold all of our assets under my nose and dissapeared. He owes me 7 years in back child support ($70,000)….I Immediately got STERILIZED to ensure I could take care of my ONE child. And I will tell you this, I CAN”T afford him. And its by no fault of my own. I can’t afford a future for him. By no fault of my own. All I can do is push him to pave his own way and HOPE. Some people plan and it blows up in their face. It just happens.

  52. nita says:

well, yae, I think you are a rare exception. Maybe I was a little harsh and I know that there are exceptions to the rules, BUT the majority of people on these programs are lifers. FACT. Sorry, but it’s true. In this case, maybe wic should be a one time thing, which it is not. If people used it once to get back on thier feet, FINE. But it is used by women time and time again. Child after child. They depend on it. Thats why I made the comment about a 6 month cap on welfare. I understand the concept of welfare, but it is used and abused by most who use it. I believe that people need to have a nest egg because of hard times that can happen. And planning for a child should include having something to fall back on. YAE, your story sounds awful, but I assure you it is ONE IN A MILLION. And I’m not bitter or angry because of my job. I just see the worst of the worst, and am just giving my opinion. Isn’t that what we are here to do? Or is it only OK if it’s the popular opinion?

  53. i think you are awesome if i can help let me know

  54. you are awesome if i can help let me know

  55. maddie says:

I have a PhD in social policy and my area of expertise is WIC programs. Most people who avail themselves of the program are not “lifers” — and thank God the program exists. For every dollar the government spends on WIC, it saves five dollars in health care costs for the child. But, aside from the financial angle, as a country, we should not let children go hungry if their parents cannot afford to feed them.

That said, the state needs to go through every claim from Nadya with a fine-tooth comb. She’s hiding in plain sight.

WIC is more than just food vouchers. They also keep tabs on the weight and blood chemistry of the children in the program to make SURE that the moms on the program who are uneducated, impoverished, and totally clueless about proper nutrition end up taking better care of the health of their children (no, not all the moms on the program fit this description, but many do…and WIC is there primarily to help the children of women such as these).

Many of the people who use WIC do so because they need temporary help financially. There are a thousand reasons someone might need the program, and I’ve seen it work for people the way it was intended. WIC is a good program. Having 14 kids in two batches as an unmarried, unemployed woman via artificial insemination is NOT what WIC was designed for.

I wish there were some sort of legal precedent for taking these kids from her. Anyone who adopted this many puppies all at once without the means and facilities to provide for them…the state would step in. But with real human babies…we leave them to wallow in the squalor.

    It’s so tragic.

I can’t stand this women and she is only doing this to get money out of everyone else. She makes me sick. I can’t stand to even look at her. I like how she has her nails done and wearing name brand clothes. Oh wait that’s right we all paid for it. She is just awful. dumb bitch!!!

One wishes Octopussy could choke on all her lies. She badly needs counseling.

One also wishes that BIRTH CONTROL was easier to get than WIC.

  59. Launch Tree says:

Thats just nuts! She really does need some kind of counseling, she has an addiction to having children!

They should run a reality show of just her taking care of her kids 😉 I’m sure they could make all that wasted taxpayers money back with it.

  60. Whether you agree with her decisions or not, there will always be help. Access Solutions is a patient assistance program from Genentech providing patient prescription assistance.

  61. The mother is just stating that she is really honest. Even she have a lot of children, she really know what is her obligation which is to find a job to make her babies alive.

Actually, the best is, you want to have a time management on your self to overcome the problem that may come in to your life.
