One Tree Hill actress and country artist Jana Kramer is a mom! For those not familiar with Jana’s acting or award-winning singing career, you may remember a few headlines about her love life. Most notably, Johnathan Schaech videotaped his proposal to her a few years ago, which proved unfortunate when she divorced him a month after they married. She was also with Scott Eastwood for a hot minute. In 2014, Jana found love with former football player Michael Caussin (Jaguars, Bills & Redskins) whom she married last May. On Sunday, they welcomed a healthy baby girl, Jolie Rae Caussin. Yesterday, she received an ACM nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year for her second album, thirty one, which is awesome because Jana brings it on the red carpet. Everyone seems healthy and awash in new baby bliss – welcome Jolie Rae:
Country singer Jana Kramer and her husband, former NFL tight-end Michael Caussin, welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Sunday, Jan. 31 in Nashville, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Born at 4:01 p.m., daughter Jolie Rae Caussin arrived weighing 7 lbs., 1 oz. She measured 19½ inches long.
Jolie’s birth was only the start to Kramer’s amazing week: On Monday, the nominations for the 2016 ACM Awards were announced and the new mom is up for female vocalist of the year.“What a whirlwind of great surprises and wonderful news,” the singer-songwriter, who previously won top new female artist in 2012, said in a statement. “I’m overwhelmed with joy after welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world AND finding out I’ve been nominated for an ACM Award!”
And while Kramer is finally taking a timeout to bond with her newborn baby girl, she won’t be sitting on the sidelines for long.
“I’ve told my management that six weeks after the baby is born, I’ll be ready to go back on the road. Mama’s gotta work,” she told Fit Pregnancy and Baby.
But her family is Kramer’s first priority, and she’s already looking forward to a second child — eventually.
“I can honestly say just knowing our little baby girl is inside of me makes it all worth it and I can’t wait to do it all over again,” she wrote in her final PEOPLE.com pregnancy blog. “Having said that, it won’t be right away. I need my time with wine again.”
Rae is passed down as it is also Jana’s middle name. Jolie means “pretty” in French but not a common name in France, which is understandable – you don’t meet many “Prettys” in the US either. Quincy Jones and Keenan Wayans both have daughters named Jolie but they are grown. I imagine there are a few Angelina fans with Jolies for daughters. Whatever the source of inspiration, it is a pretty name.

Do not like the name Jolie. Rae is a cute middle name.
Does she have red carpet game? Judging by these pictures she always look tacky. Like a beauty queen which is never a good look. And good god is she orange in the first picture. Like Ross in Friends when he got a spray tan.
I don’t really like the name Jolie, because it means pretty “Hi, my name is Pretty” a bit strange. Maybe as a middle name?
Yeah, Angelina’s mom couldn’t have picked a more appropriate middle name… but she’s probably the only person in the world who can truly wear a name like that forever without a hint of misplaced priorities/arrogance.

My cousin’s name is Jolie, so I guess I never found the name that odd or unique? Also, I don’t like when people refer to their daughters as princess. It’s weird to me.

The name Jolie ok. Not great, but ok. I really can’t stomach Rae. Sounds far too masculine to me. Not a nice girly feminine name.

I’ve never heard of Jana Kramer other than that her name is on my can of shaving cream that I look at every morning in the shower. Even then I’m like, “who?”
I was a OTH fan, & I love Jana. & if some of the songs from her album after her 1st marriage ended hold any truth, the douche from “That Thing You Do” decided that he didn’t love her AFTER they got married. I’m happy for her. It looks like she is happy & in love, with both her hubby &, of course, her sweet baby!
“T’as une jolie raie” means “you have a nice butt crack” in French. I hope that little girl won’t be taking French lessons.
