The BRIT Awards were held last night in London, and they turned out to be a decent event. Some years… it feels like the BRITs are too insular and like the biggest celebrities are really only well-known in the UK. But this year, there were some internationally famous acts. Like Rihanna. Considering her sudden withdrawal from the Grammys, this was Rihanna’s first big performance in support of ANTI. Rihanna wore Armani Prive on the red carpet – this is very pretty and feminine. She changed for her performance with Drake:

Why is Lana Del Ray wearing a night gown to an award show? Rihanna is utterly and completely fug, as per usual.

i think its the angle of the photo. im her age and her forehead reminds me of when my botox doc got a little heavy handed a couple of months ago. she doesnt need as much botox or dysport. its weighing her brow down.
Charli’s is the only one I dislike too, surprinsingly. Ri’s my favorite, hands down. Sexy but understated. I also like the fact that she seems to be sporting her real hair!

I agree on the bra situation. For a girl who doesn’t have much of a chest, she certainly enjoys flaunting it and then it gets exaggerated by the piercings. Maybe in Barbados this is more common of a thing. I say this only because she never shows one iota of a care exposing herself. Leave a little to the imagination RiRi, cover those girls up.

The Westwood would be ok on someone who knew how to wear it, that girl just looks uncomfortable.
I like Alexa’s, and Rihanna’s is Ok not great.
I wasnt too in love with Rihanna’s red carpet dress, she looked nice though. But I LOVED the outfit she was wearing on stage. The vocals in the performance were not great though. That song just doesnt translate well into live performances. I understand it was planned that way with the backing track but the way her voice kept trailing off was annoying.
Alexa looks great, compared to everyone else. Rihanna’s dress looks like the lavender curtains I had on my canopy bed when I was 6.
Rihanna’s overall look is flat to me, but she’s gorgeous so it doesn’t bother me as much as some other looks. I don’t know why people seemed surprised her performance wasn’t good–I adore her, but she’s not a vocalist outside the studio. Her album was great though.
Except Rihanna and maybe Alexa Chung’s, all the other dresses are seriously awful.
Rihanna is beautiful but that dress is just meh. Chung looks decent but the rest of the dresses are horrible. I am trying to like the song ‘work’ but i just can’t. It sounds like a drunk person trying to sing with make up words of a song lyrics they don’t know. But the performance effect is pretty dope!

I have a problem with Florence’s hair in events. It is a great color, but it’s always … oily, maybe. Like, she refuses to do anything with it. A ponytail wouldn’t hurt, you know.
