Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston are in LA this week to promote I Saw the Light, which has a limited release starting this week. Tom will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, but last night was Olsen’s turn. These are pics from outside Kimmel’s studio – Olsen has really nice legs, I’m not sure if I’ve ever noticed that before. Does anyone else wonder if Olsen and Hiddles are happy to be in the same city right now? Like, does he go over to her place or does she go to his hotel? Anyway, Olsen manages to avoid discussing Tom almost entirely, but she does talk about the movie a bit about her crappy (on purpose) singing.
In this clip, she talks about meeting Harrison Ford (who was on the same show before her) and how she froze up.
Here’s the part where she talks about I Saw the Light and being able to sing terribly.
And here she talks about going snow-blind while filming in the snow for hours. Apparently, she got sunburned (snowburned) on her eyelids, which is so gross.
Honestly, this is the most I’ve ever really watched her speak as herself, and I kind of find her slightly annoying. Not full-on eye-rolly, because in her defense, I think she’s really just trying to tell interesting stories on a talk show so she’s “performing” to a certain extent. So… are Elizabeth and Tom still hittin’ it? Or did he quit it? Or did she quit it?

She does have nice legs. As for her and TH, who cares.

This is a movie I am skipping as not a C & W music fan.

I like CW but might give this a miss unless I am super bored and it is pissing down rain which is likely. Tom is really good in TNM and just saw High Rise good lord crazy crazy. I didn’t read the book but it’s a bit nuts. He was really good in it as well. I think he could be a good James Bond.. has a hot body too 🙂
Her segment was so rushed that they didn’t have time to show a clip of the film. Her dress was ugly with too many competing design elements

She seems fairly quick- witted and mostly likeable, but her laugh might become a bit grating…
My opinion: no one quit anything. They are still trolling fans and banging each other. There. I said it. Nice legs and she looks fine….as for her voice: irritating.
It’s odd, I find she generally has interesting things to say (especially about acting and performing), but her voice, laugh and general demeanor is off-putting and I find myself mildly annoyed for no particular reason when I watch her. I thought Lizzie had some good insights into Audrey and authentic country music – despite the interviewer being basically clueless about the subject matter.
I used to look to her for style inspiration, but that was a few years ago. She’s a beautiful girl, and I wish she and her stylist would come up looks that would flatter her figure.

That’s exactly it. No really one cared about her until “the aren’t they are they” business began. When it’s over or when they confirm, we’ll go back to not caring. Although a lot of people have seemed to have already gotten to that “who cares at this point” point.
Nah, I just think the CB modus operandi is to shoehorn TH into stories for clicks wherever possible. It’s not a commentary on EO herself.

I have always found her very annoying and not particularly interesting. I think she tries very hard to be the cool chill girl in her interviews but it comes across wrong. But I thought her hair and makeup looked great.
She’s beautiful. I’ve loved her since Martha Marcy May Marlene. She’s very talented, but keeps making these giant movies where she doesn’t really get to showcase that. But she needs them to make money and elevate her name, I guess. She has a very Southern Californian manner of speaking.
I have a theory – don’t go on a trip with TH. Jane, Bora Bora, over. EO, Hawaii, over. Even going back a while: Susannah, TIFF, over. I am willing to test the theory, in the name of science of course.
