I just read this article over at Reality Tea. I try not to read other blogger’s coverage on stories I’m about to do because then their ideas might occur to me like they’re my own, like how RT started this story with “In a turn of events that will surprise absolutely no one …” because really what else is there to say? This is what Blac Chyna was angling for all along, and the Kardashian family has tentatively accepted her as one of their own because she has the kind of hustle required to not only bring Rob back into the fold, but to capitalize on it. We recently heard that Rob and Chyna want to earn Jolie-Depp dollars for their first baby pics and good luck with that, but they might be able to drive up demand now. E! has announced that Rob and Chyna are getting a six episode docuseries to chronicle their relationship and the birth of their baby. It will air later this year and the two are “co-producers” so I guess they get a say in how they’re portrayed.
E! is excited to announce the new six-episode docu-series Rob & Chyna (working title), which will follow the whirlwind romance of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna. Each one-hour episode will follow the lovebirds from their engagement to Chyna’s pregnancy, and everything in between.
The exciting television event will culminate with a separate special at a later time celebrating the birth of their first child together (AKA the newest Kardashian!).
Rob & Chyna, which is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim/Murray Productions, premieres on E! later this year. Rob and Chyna will serve as co-executive producers on the show.
“Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Development at E!, said in a release Wednesday. “We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”
I doubt that Rob and Chyna created much “pop culture buzz,” but we were interested when he drove across country to bail her out after her DUI, and we were interested when Rob started to get out of the house and go on camera again. The thing is, if even Caitlyn’s docuseries (happy anniversary to her) can only get mediocre viewership numbers, how are Rob and Chyna going to fare with their reality show?
Also, Blac Chyna dyed her hair blue is wearing a blue wig. I really can’t tell from this Instagram video if I like it or not. She needs to talk to Kim about that “untouring” makeup thing she’s doing because she looks so much better without all the obvious highlighting makeup. (She’s still using some, it’s just not as contrasting.)

Bizarrely, nothing. For unknown reasons, she favours makeup that just makes her looks like she’s had bad plastic surgery. Meh, it’s her face and I guess she must like how it looks, because in the pic of her in the black hoodie she’s wearing little if any makeup, and it’s evident that she’s naturally very attractive.
Yes, they all look so much better without contouring the shit out of their faces. Why on earth don’t these women see this themselves?

I thought the same thing about the ‘buzz’. It seems like there was no real buzz, but if the internet is told there was a ‘buzz’, than it’s real…somehow.
Also, I can’t stand her face. It’s just awful (contouring or no).
The only real buzz has been centered on Rob and Chyna vs. the rest of the Kardashians…I’m betting people will tune in hoping for drama with Kylie Jenner or with the whole Amber Rose/Kanye situation and once that doesn’t happen (because PMK would never allow it), ratings will be mediocre.
Exactly. Most people will only want to tune in if Rob and Chyna are going hard against the Kardashians. I highly doubt that’s going to happen. In fact, the first episode will probably be about how Kim is the “loving and supporting” one and can’t wait for the baby to arrive !
ME – Yes, where there’s a camera, there’s Kim. She beat a path to Cait’s door as fast as her tottering high heels could take her, also, while the cameras were rolling. And went along with Demon Mother to the hospital, even though she had been yelling at Khloe to disconnect from Lamar entirely, just as Kim always does (not even waiting for the divorce…). Before we knew it, Kimmie was posting a pic of herself dancing with Lamar at the wedding, together with an improbable story about Lamar waking up and saying something lovey to her as she held his hand…
Years before, Kim and Demon Mother also interfered with Reggie’s big win on the field to get themselves on camera. Reggie didn’t look too pleased, that may have been the beginning of the end for their relationship.

Yup so true. When the paps didn’t care about Rob, Kim didn’t want anything to do with him. Now she gladly will be seen shopping with Rob and Chyna. When’s the last time we saw Kim with Caitlyn? LOL Kim is very predictable. I do remember when Reggie won the Superbowl, Kim was all over the field in the cameras faces and she even went up on the stage and sat next to Reggie during his post interview. It was hilarious because the next day everyone on twitter was congratulating KIM for winning the Superbowl lol ! Now that Brody is engaged, I am sure we will see a Kim/Brody sighting soon too.

Other than that, they’ll probably get high ratings the first two episodes, and then it’ll be up to their personalities to see if they can sustain it.
I thought that too – but I’ve seen SO many ‘regular’ people dye their hair while pregnant. So I don’t know – maybe it depends on the kind of dye.
I know several people who dyed their hair during pregnancy even against doctor orders, so being the Kardashians who they are, it wouldn’t be a surprise they care more about their looks than the health of a baby.
It is. The wigs and weaves are a protective style for her natural hair, which is also really long.

@ladysussex…NO! A thousand times no. I have never watched a single episode of any reality series ever and am not about to start now. That said, I know people do watch reality tv and enjoy it. And that’s fine. I just don’t understand why anyone would watch anything to do with the Kardashians. Every comment I read about them on every single blog is negative. I would deduce from that they are universally disliked. But somebody somewhere is watching that crap or these two wouldn’t have secured their own show.
IMHO giving the Kardashians your valuable time by watching their show is way, way worse than feeding trolls.

Yes she does. That horrible makeup job is not good, I think she would look better without it. What is that horrible lighter makeup around her eyes and down to her cheekbones! So obvious. Funny how so many women put on so much makeup to look better, but they look worse!
Aslya and Snowflake, I agree that she doesn’t need it. But Chyna goes makeup free all the time. Her every day looks are different from her photoshoot and red carpet looks.
