Chrissy Teigen, 30, just gave birth to daughter Luna a little under two months ago but she and husband John Legend are already thinking about expanding their family. A source tells E! that these two “do want another baby sooner rather than later” and that “They both always wanted a big family.” Chrissy opened up last fall about her struggles with fertility and told People Magazine several months ago that she would likely have to undergo another round of IVF treatments. She said that “The number of embryos we have left is not matching the number of people I want at my dinner table.” It seems really soon to be thinking about another baby but if they want a big family I guess they’re feeling the pressure.
Incidentally, in that People interview from February, Chrissy was somewhat prescient about the response she would get on social media. She said “For me, the toughest part will be people’s critiques of our parenting — that will be tough.” She has had some really ridiculous criticism, but she seems to be trolling the trolls too – like when she recently went to an NBA game with a doll and snapchatted it to give the impression she was bringing her baby courtside.
Chrissy knows exactly what she’s doing. In a recent Twitter feud with Piers Morgan, she joked that trolling wasn’t a job because she’s tried it. John and Chrissy were responding to a tweet Piers posted with a video of Muhammad Ali, right after Ali passed, in which Piers pointed out that Ali has said some controversial things about race and racial equality. It was not the time to throw shade, and Chrissy and John called Piers out on it.
.@piersmorgan you could test us by announcing your retirement.

@johnlegend from what? trolling isn't a job (I've tried)
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) June 5, 2016
Then Chrissy proved her point by tweeting to Piers some more.
@piersmorgan it keeps me nice and not-racist so sure, give it a go.

@johnlegend @piersmorgan sorry can't read, just a modell doing modelling
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) June 6, 2016
I love how Chrissy deliberately spelled modeling wrong the British way just like Piers. She sent out a few more tweets and gave up after that. I’m not even including them all below.
Piers Morgan searches his name every 4.8 seconds.

Hi, Piers. I know you're reading this. You unequivocal douche.

So if these two had say, 2-3 more babies, do you think they would spend less time on social media? Or would they just have more reasons to tweet/instagram/snapchat?
Here is Chrissy’s latest tweet (as of press time, although that will surely change soon) in which she tries to escape out from under John, who fell asleep at a party. She makes the best faces.

There’s something about John Legends face that looks like a toddler drew on stubble. I don’t know if it’s changed recently or something? I don’t remember ever having come to that conclusion before now. He’s just got suuuuch a baby face.
One of the funniest things about Chrissy is how she has no fear to give back horrible people on Twitter the same treatment they’re giving her. It’s uber-satisfying to watch those people get theirs. It’s appalling what people think they can say anonymously behind a keyboard.
I think she’s hilarious! She used to annoy me, but my mind changed as I saw how she dealt with internet critics. She BURNED PM with those tweets, esp about professional trolling… rolling over here….
While I think Chrissy sometimes tries to wind people up (which honestly is pretty entertaining), I do think the criticism they (mostly she) gets is ridiculous. I hope they are able to have as many babies as they want.
Pretty sure modelling is correct in UK English..
As someone that suffers from secondary infertility I know how awful it is and wish them well.
And as someone that suffers from Piers Morgan fatigue I wish them well with that too.
So if these two had say, 2-3 more babies, do you think they would spend less time on social media?
No I think they or she would be posting and commenting three times as much. I’m surprised they don’t have a reality show because she loves the media and public attention and trolls for it.
The recommendation for couples with fertility issues is to try for another baby sooner rather than later. A friend of mine did that and I am so happy she got pregnant again. Best of luck to them!
Yep, I did IVF with my first two and they are 14mo apart (they were supposed to be 16mo but he came early via emergency CS). I think it was because I had waited so so long to have a baby that I wanted to just keep going because we were already a little older and you feel like you don’t want the good luck to run dry or something. You aren’t one of those couple that can just say, we’ll try in a couple of years and what if they next transfer doesn’t work? Then you have to go through everything again and who knows how long it will take and you don’t want it to be another five years so you think the sooner the better, just in case. At least that’s how we felt.
Congratulations, Mel M! Thank you for sharing your experience, 🙂
Thank you Miss M! It’s been quiet a ride lol
I laughed at her tweets. That baby is BEYOND gorgeous!!!!
Me too. She sometimes annoys me, but I giggled at these. Maybe its the damn baby. That kid is SO cute. I can’t be annoyed when I scroll by that cutie.
Their baby is so beautiful, and if they want more kids then they should have them. I wish them the best and I think her tweets are funny.
Hhmm…I don’t care for Chrissy, but I think her daughter is adorable.
I love Chrissy, don’t really know why, but her sassy attitude is the best. Just bought her cookbook and the intro to the book and notes to the recipes are hilarious. Plus the food is legitimately amazing.
I hope they have lots of babies.
