JoBros forever! Nick and Joe Jonas attended the VMAs, where Nick performed his song Bacon with Ty Dolla $ign and another special guest appearance (more on that later) and Joe Jonas won Best New Artist with his band DNCE. I get that DNCE is fresh on the scene but it sounds funny to me that Joe Jonas would be considered a New Artist. Still, good for him, I always like the brothers Jonas as individuals. Prior to the awards, the middle and youngest sons visited a tattoo parlor and got thin arrows inked on their biceps. They showed off their work on Snapchat:
Boom? That’s kind of a dramatic announcement for such a skinny little thing, isn’t it? Still, I appreciate their enthusiasm for their new skin art.
Neither Bro gave up the arrow’s meaning, which I like because now we can read all kinds of things into it. My rational guess is it has something to do with a play on their former “straight arrow” reputations. Or possibly their very close bond, Nick stumped for DNCE on Instagram prior to the VMAs and Joe talked up Nick’s tour on the white carpet. I wonder if they have to always stand in that order so they can constantly point to the other?
Wouldn’t it be great if this was some “Nah-uh – he did it” joke between brothers?
Whereas the arrow was hidden as Nick sang Bacon, his bulge certainly wasn’t. Even though Nick turned in a fine performance, his groin was the stand out. Twitter went nuts. Some had a bone to pick about his crotch not getting it’s own Moonman. Nick’s no ding-dong, those extremely tight pants weren’t an accident. He just wanted to let you know that with him, you get the whole package.

I’m way too old to have been a Jonas brothers fan (30 now, 20 then) but I’ve always liked them. They’re talented and I enjoy Nick as a solo artist and I LOVE DNCE’s EP. It is only 4 songs, but they’re great. Really happy for them.
I kinda like Joe, but there’s something so off about Nick. He seems arrogant.
I’m sure DNCE means DANCE, but all I see is DUNCE.
Do they not get on with the other brother? They always seem to talk about each other and seem super close but we hardly (ever?) see them with Kevin.
Aw, sweet. I really enjoy both of their music.
That happened with my cousins(three brothers) when one of them got married and had kids.Different lifestyles, priorities, etc
Googles Joe Jonas and Mr. Bean. OMG! I am not the only one who sees the resemblance.
I like this post for the use of “ding-dong” alone.
I think it’s cute when siblings get matching tattoos, but what about Kevin? Is he just too old and uncool?
