    No he doesn’t.

Right? I dont get why people are trying so hard to find him sexy and bangable. Its quite amusing. If he is not bangable it does not diminish his achievements nor does it mean that he is unattractive. But his magazine covers are not even lukewarm where sex appeal is concerned.

      • Justjj says:

I get it. He’s cute, smart, funny, creative and sincere. He’s not trying too hard. There is a natural charisma and charm about him but I don’t know that pure sex appeal comes to mind either… I think he looks charming here and has an extremely attractive brain. Dateable I think is how I would say he looks? (To me, all the time)

This is kind of a humble rag, but also on point– saw him in Hamilton and the combo of uniform (Revolutionary War, but still) and in motion, be still my heart! I definitely prefer the facial hair, but he reminds me of my husband, so I may have a type

    • A mascarada says:

      Nah.

  2. Locke Lamora says:

I find him really attractive usually, but not on the last few covers. He’s hot in an adorable way, and they keep making him pose like a lothario and it doesnt work. The short hair does look much better.

  3. Meow says:

Kate loves a bit of mouth-to-geoduck action.

  4. Amy Tennant says:

Better on this one than the last, but I think I like him best in motion (that’s what I said). And a little grungy.

  5. Miss Grace Jones says:

No shade but dude is ugly.

  6. Michelina says:

Lin has grown on me due to his personality and intellect. As a result, I now find him extremely attractive, but I didn’t initially. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a catch <3

I'm taking the bait here on Kylie Jenner… I fully believe she wants to have Tyga's kid/s because she has been very vocal about wanting to have children before she's 25. I wonder what her life would be like today if her family never became famous. Less of a mess, I'm sure.

The Wall Street Journal is becoming increasingly despicable!

  7. Deedee says:

I think he looks so much more handsome when he is clean shaven.

  8. Jenns says:

No one wants to talk about the lady who took a sh*t in the conference room? Because I really hope that story isn’t true.

  9. India Rose says:

I know him personally. He’s a genius, a feminist, an activist. He is humble, generous and kind. Objectifying him with the word “bangable” is so disrespectful. I’d be pissed if you used that gross description about a woman. I’m pissed you’re using it for a man. Please stop.

    • Cran says:

Thank you. I think he is an extraordinary human being.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I agree. Something was making me uncomfortable about the whole “bangable” discussion and you perfectly summed it up. It is objectifying, and if it isn’t acceptable for women, it shouldn’t be acceptable for men.

    • India Rose says:

      Thanks very much.

Because of Lin’s work, children of color can now see themselves reflected in the story of America’s foundation. He honors the history of immigrants in a time when we’re being told to fear them. You know what line brings the house down every night? “Immigrants: we get the job done.”

He’s a hero and role model for kids who are feeling frightened and ostracized. Hamilton could not have come at a better time.

  10. Athena says:

Oooh! So I’m not very familiar with broadway stars but I passed by right in front of him as they were doing this shoot. I had to text people to ask is this Lin…Hamilton guy!?

  11. Minina says:

I kind of realized the why logistically it’s actually bad to call someone “bangable,” through these comments.

If you call someone that, it’s very subjective, and people are bound to say denigrating things like, “nah,” “stop trying to make him hot,” and that’s not respectful to him, and I think we all respect him as a person because of his genius and kindness.

We are all not going to agree a person is bangable even if we all like their intellect. So yeah I guess it’s important not to use words that men’s media often use to describe women. Even though it’s meant as a compliment, it’s more divisive and pigeonholing.

  14. Laura says:

He’s a cool dude but ugly af.

    • Thurry says:

I remember the first time I saw a photo of Uma Thurman, back in the 1980s, I thought she was ugly. Then I changed my mind, now I think she was one of the most beautiful model-actresses from that era. Sort of the same thing happened with my darling Tom Hiddleston, I thought he was really goofy-looking, then I saw him in a movie and all the gorgeousness came spilling out. Maybe the same thing will happen with this dude? Because, like Laura, I’m just not seeing the sexy right now.

  15. AintNoTelling says:

I think it’s gross that whoever rights these headlines, writes stuff like “——-” (insert name of male celebrity), looks bangable.

Why does the writer of these columns, consistently present photographs of men with this type of caption? It really is disgusting and whether people realize it or not, marginalizing men in this way is pretty disturbing, and it is just as offensive and sexist as when it’s done to women.

    Just gross.
