I’m so desperate for any kind of good news or anything involving a “hot guy” that this honestly made my day. Last night, Tom Hiddleston made an all-too-brief appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The reason? He was officially dropping the new full-length trailer for Kong: Skull Island. I don’t know who convinced him – or perhaps it was his idea? – to dress up as a gorilla, but he totally walked out on stage dressed like Kong. Then he took off his mask and his hair was all messed up and suddenly I found him hot again. Who would have thought that it would take a gorilla costume to make me briefly forget about the “I Heart T.S.” tank?

Dare I say, the movie looks good? I suspect Samuel L. Jackson has the bigger role, but Tom is going to be front and center for months of film promotion. Let’s hope so, because we’re going to need a crazy Hiddlesbanger Promotional Tour to get us through these next four months. Also: now I have that f–king CCR song stuck in my head. BAD MOON RISING!!
LaineyGossip also pointed out that Tom is actually nominated for a Critics Choice Award for The Night Manager. The Critics Choice Awards are on December 11. Will Tom stick around LA for the next month? Er… I doubt it. And where IS Taylor Swift these days? Is she in LA or New York? Is there some Tiddlebanging on the sly? God, I hope not.

That’s not his Coriolanus body… it’s quasi-Cori. I’d rank it the same as his TNM bod (#2). He looks better than he did with that tank top, for sure. No amount of muscle could save THAT look.
I liked the trailer. JVR’s Kong was BALLER. I’d like to see more Goodman, Reilly and Jackson than Hiddles in the film. They will make it worth my $$, along with the monkey.

Perhaps by acting his age rather than a 22YO college boy?? Things I find sexy are kindness (check), smarts (hit & miss), facial scruff (no gotee!) and maturity. He needs to show me more of that last one to bleach my brain of last summer’s shenanigans.
He could go a long way in redeeming himself by having a relationship with a respectable woman that isn’t being “promoted” like a film.
I find choice of partner quite sexy too. That sounds weird now I type it out!
SI looks like it’s going to have the Vogt-Roberts tongue-in-cheek panache. It’s visually beautiful, and I do mean ALL the scenery 😉

He is in LA to do reshoots and will be here for award season and promo for skull island. He is working and considering his lack of walking red carpets and discussing the snake in interviews, I doubt he wants to go near her again. She hurt his brand and he can’t afford to go back. His career is his greatest love and he won’t ruin it for anyone.
Possible but not sure what he would be reshooting with the beard. When Ruffalo finished in Australia, he said most of his work would be done later in Los Angeles with green screen. So, Tom may be doing some of that. But Loki doesn’t usually have a beard.

It could be on film or they could do ADR. Or they can be doing any number of things. Point is that LA is a film town so he could be taking meetings also and cooking up work. He is a workaholic and always busy. Just because he is in LA has nothing to do with the snake. That is the point.
Maybe he and Chris are in LA to work on sound overs for their scenes. If they are going to do some reshoots, perhaps he’ll just shave.
I agree he won’t go back for a second round. But when I saw those photos of TH arriving at the LA airport, I couldn’t help but wonder if he would have been papped had he not dated TS. I knew who he was before, but the larger public didn’t care about him. So he may not have ruined his career after all. Hard for me to admit but ….
That’s what I’m saying. I’m a new fan because of his romance. Since I had no expectations of him, just found him so nice to look at, the tshirt thing never turned me off like his long time fans. And he seems really nice in so many ways.

He still may have gotten papped even without the Tiddlesbang’16. He’s been papped before at LAX, several times. But the photos/vid don’t necessarily make it onto celeb-news TV. But they have been put on TMZ website. That’s who shot this vid. LAX is a regular, full time beat for them. They probably have more paid scouts there than LAX has security!
Fingers crossed he gets a chance to see Taylor when in LA. Now that he’s not working there’s a chance they can rekindle their romance. Let’s face it she was good for him. She raised his profile and made him a household name. If they got back together there would be no stopping them as a couple.
I saw the trailer recently at a local theater – but oddly, Hiddles did not utter one word in it, it definitely seemed like Jackson’s movie. Perhaps they changed it up since the original trailer?
There is a second, new trailer released last night. The link is above. The first teaser trailer featured dialogue only between Goodman and Jackson and a voiceover from an unseen John C Reilly. This one features more of the chopper crash from the first, dialogue between Tom and John C Reilly, more Goodman, Corey Hawkins and John Ortiz, and Brie Larson, Thomas Mann, and Jason Mitchell have yet to utter a word in either trailer.
YES! I’m so looking forward to this movie! After all the election talk (and now all the talk about what Trump will do in the White House), I need a movie like this. Tom Hiddleston, funny lines, ridiculously oversized cgi animals…the perfect antidote to all this nutty reality. I wish it was out now.

A thought – at least coming out in the monkey suit preempted any one saying he couldn’t laugh at himself, which he needed to show after this summer.
I think Chris H continued on from LAX. The DM photos show him going through security at the airport, they only make you do that if you’re getting on another flight. His movie “Horse Soldiers” starts filming soon in New Mexico, he might be headed there for some prep work.
I agree, Spidey. Self-deprecating humor is the way to go! I thought the skit was lots of fun. I saw it after being at the hospital with my husband who had minor surgery and is doing well. Like other fine performers, young Mr. H cheers me up.

Yes that would have been a funny site especially here on CB, but it’s probably not a good idea if he’s trying to distance himself from the TS and all the repetitive chatter that comes with any mention of Tiddles. At the airport he kept his mouth shut. Very unlike him. Usually he smiles and say hi. I think he does not want to be drawn into any TS business whatsoever. He’s messaging, at least to the paps/rags, that he will not respond to any talk about TS. He’s only going to talk about and promote his work. Lesson learned.

Oh sorry MI6, I read that wrong. Thought is said TS. Your version would be better. Referencing TS with actually naming her. But it still would have reminded people of Tiddles and then we’d be back to square one again. I think Tom needs to thank the orange puff face for ramming Tiddles and tank top out of the collective conscious. He needs to take full advantage this tragic gift, and I do believe that’s the order of the in Hiddles-landia.

I have to say, I have NEVER thought of TH as hot or attractive or even remotely good looking, but something about the pic of him in the gorilla suit, maybe the angle or his hair being messed up??! I don’t know, but I thought MAYBE he is more attractive in movement rather than in pics??
Becki, he is absolutely 100% more attractive in motion than in photos – although at certain angles, photographs make me go weak in the knees too.

The movie looks terrible, IMO. I guess Brie Larson’s agent told her to do a blockbuster because I have no clue what she’s doing in it. And I loved Peter Jackson’s King Kong.
It’s this sort of goofy nonsense that makes me like him. What fun. (And how the blazes does he manage to look sexy in a gorilla suit? This is definitely a man you could take to a fancy dress party and have a blast with.)
I’m lukewarm on the film however. It’s…OK-looking from the trailer. I’m not bothered about King Kong as a popcorn franchise, the concept seems stale to me. Oversized CGI monsters, quippery and Hiddleston looking unnaturally beefed-up doesn’t really float my boat.
I look forward much more to Thor 3 instead.

The man’s got buckets of personality and charisma (IMO). I don’t think that gets usefully harnessed in some of the roles he plays. Pumped up action type in this film perhaps being one of them.

I’m with you too on over beefed-up TH. I’d still take him to bed mind you, but I prefer his more slender build like in High Rise. He had just the right amount of subtle muscle definition and graceful strength. Ok, I better stop now.

His role in Kong might not be his best acting role, but he needs a hit with the general public besides the Thor movies. He was very cute last night (sigh). Damn you Tom, the last think I needed was an obsession.
I think SI is going to do well at the box office. Hopefully very well! (That might make up for all the TH shenanigans of 2016) I think the trailer looks damn good. The film production level is very high. The shots of Vietnam are breath taking. The music and sound track are solid. The cast is loaded with talent and personalities. It looks spectacularly entertaining. There’s something for everyone in this film. It should do really f**king well at the BO.

He needed it badly before this summer, now it’s make or break for him and no one is more of that than he is. I love anything Brie does but I was not feeling that SDCC teaser. Now I’m on board!

Yeah! He’s back and the mussed hair and self deprecating humor are hot! Sigh, this was needed. So freaking needed. Now if Sixer and I can just have some kind of a build-a-bear engagement…but baby steps and this was balm for my soul! Day 2 of antibiotics and steroids my lovelies and not really feeling like they are kicking in yet 🙁 What a rotten 8 days! Do over!
I’m not fully buying action man Tom. He’s trying but is less than convincing.
I was concern he wasn’t convincing enough in the first trailer releases that only had a few clips and no dialog. In this trailer I think he comes off fine. We’ll see. My biggest critique is that I don’t like how beefed-up he is for this film – ‘action Tom’. I think his body type is best slender-fit like in Hollow Crown (my favorite) where “he moves like a dream”. Then High Rise next where he’s a little less built up than SI. Not skinny and not beefy or too defined. Smooth, subtle, graceful are Tom’s best features. But everyone insists that HW action men gotta look big and strong with recognizable muscle definition – I say fooy.
Yeah, not quite the thing somehow. He’s having to try too hard. It doesn’t feel like a natural fit. He’s more interesting as an actor than ‘generic chiselled action hero’. Meh.

ok back from tube and fb. so many people are asking why sj in every movie, Lots of loki jokes, harambe jokes, tom/kong bromance, kongvs godzilla talks but no tiddles. So I am guessing movie goers don’t pay any attention to gossips and yep Tom and his career would be fine. Boys don’t even care who dates who.
Silly but great marketing, he knows what he’s doing.
