Buzzfeed published a graphic dossier compiled by Donald Trump’s enemies

Last night, Buzzfeed published a 35-page dossier that has apparently made the rounds of media outlets, political campaigns, the White House, intelligence agencies and more, all without ever being published publicly in its entirety. The dossier was allegedly compiled by a British intelligence agent on behalf of Trump’s enemies, and the dossier has been widely circulated for weeks, apparently. Just note: no one can confirm anything in the report, which Buzzfeed admits freely. They just wanted to provide access to the document which has been widely circulated in private media and intelligence circles. You can read the full NSFW dossier here at Buzzfeed.

Trump has already denied the report on Twitter (what else?):

And if you couldn’t tell, some of the stories in the dossier are pretty graphic. There’s a reason #GoldenShowerGate has been trending for hours. The basic gist is that Russia has been cultivating Trump for years, and Russian intelligence has compiled their own dossier of blackmail information about Trump. Allegedly, Trump and his campaign were in contact with Russian operatives during the election too. But here’s the part of the dossier getting the most attention:

“According to source D, where s/he had been present, Trump’s (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, where he knew President and Mrs. OBAMA (whom he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) show in front of him.”

The report claims that the hotel in which the “golden showers” went down at were bugged by the FSB, Russia’s Federal Security Service.

[From Us Weekly]

I try to be a pretty sex-positive person and as long as everything involves consenting adults, God bless and Godspeed. But when your kinks are part of a Russian intelligence agency’s scheme to blackmail and manipulate the potential (and now real-life) POTUS, that’s when sex-positivity goes out the window. Granted, we don’t know if any of this is true. And sadly, even if it is true, the Deplorables will find some way to defend it.

Oh my – 2016 made millions of people lose hope in humanity and split lots of families due to politics.

Could 2017 reserve all of the damage 2016 did and bring back the hope?

Brexit might not happen at all as the British Government is struggling to outline a plan and some are having buyers remorse.

Trump seems to go down in flame before the inauguration with him first dissing the intelligence community and then seemly accept that Putin did hack. Now he has two enemies who will be fighting to see who will first release/leak damning evidence of his treason.

And the best part is that Trump will never go down quietly, he will take down the whole of the Republican Party with him.

Those Republicans were so stupid to choose Trump/party our country and now they will be punished by losing the very power they were greedy for.

They are already struggling/backtracking on the Obamacare repeal. Thousands/millions of Trump supports are now having doubts about their vote for this man.

This is karma for the horror they did towards women and minorities etc. For the last 3-4 decades they have become so greedy that they even excused treason.

Come 2017 – show the world that there is still hope for the humanity and justice. That evil might win the battle but not the war.

PS: question to my lovely fellow CB Americans. If Trump cannot be the president and Mike Pence will also be linked to the treason, will Hillary then become president?

    • Alix says:

Maya, I love your optimism. But no, Hillary cannot become president even if (from your lips to God’s ears) both Trump and Pence go down in flames.

      • Amelia says:

After Drumpf and Pence, it’s Ryan next in line, right?

      • tracking says:

Pence does not seem to be implicated in any of these reports (so far). It is rumored Repubs are the ones who leaked this. At the risk of promoting conspiracy theories, some think the plan all along was for Trump to crash and burn so Pence could assume the throne. Who knows, but it will be interesting to see if Trump can survive this. Hard to see how, but he’s been remarkably teflon so far. Amelia, that would be an interesting outcome, if there was a long-game play for Ryan. As much as I dislike him, he’s a more palatable alternative to these two!

      • Alix says:

        @amelia: I believe so. /sigh/

      • Megan says:

Republicans would be smart to release the report, not because it will take Trump down, but because it takes the power of blackmail away from Putin.

      • lightpurple says:

It goes Vice President, Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore (which is not the same as the Senate leader). However, once a Vice President moves up or leaves or is removed from office (Spiro Agnew left because he was facing income tax fraud charges), the President can nominate a new Vice President, who must face confirmation. (Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller)

      • t.fanty says:

Let us pray. There is a special table in hell reserved for Ryan and McConnell.

      • Greenieweenie says:

Does anyone else loathe Paul Ryan’s goofy, smug, smirking face as much as I do? I cannot stand him. Watch Trump 2017 be the administration that installs an unelected Paul Ryan in the office of the president.

      • cynic says:

@Greenieweenie: Yep, I loathe him too. Such as smug hypocrite.

      • Jen says:

After President and VP, it’s Speaker of the House (Ryan), then President Pro Temporare of the Senate (Orrin Hatch of Utah), which is the longest serving member of the majority. Frankly, of the four, I’d prefer Hatch.

    • Prettykrazee says:

Unfortunately no. The second person in line for the presidency is the Speaker of the House. And that is Paul Ryan. Who in my opinion is worse than Trump and Pence.

      • tracking says:

Do you think so? Trump and Pence are the height of insanity to me. Don’t get me wrong, Ryan is horrible too, but at least seems okay with the separation of church and state, supported Muslims, anti-hate speech etc. White male privilege and conservative policies all the way of course, but seems reasonably sane compared to the other two. Can’t believe I’m saying I wouldn’t mind him as pres, but Trump and Pence are both terrifying to me. At least here the discussion would switch back to policy differences, not scary populism and fake news.

      • Ramona says:

I honestly think that Ryan and even Pence would be better than Trump. I would rather a right leaning politician than a madman narcisist. At least with Pence and Ryan you know exactly what you are dealing with. Furthermore, they live within the confines of politics. They probably commission public polls and focus groups before any major political decision – because in the end, they are POLITICIANS. Trump on the other hand is driven by the person who praised him last. With Trump it doesnt matter what the majority want because he completely filters it out.

I hate to think the havoc Ryan or Pence would reak on government services and womens rights BUT the fact is that they would also operate within established norms and customs. For instance releasing medical records, tax returns, instituting blind trusts, not appointing close relatives to the White House, not tweeting international policy, not trolling US companies on social media, not attacking union bosses, et cetera. In other words, they wouldnt be destroying the precedence that protects the democracy.

      • Megan says:

We’re going to get Pence and Ryan’s domestic agenda, regardless of who is in the White House. So, as despicable as I find them both, at least we would avoid Trump’s insane foreign policy agenda.

      • lightpurple says:

The only thing that makes Ryan and Pence better than Trump is that they are unlikely to start a war over a Tweet. Ryan, however, is pure evil and is more dangerous than Trump or Pence in that he knows how to get laws passed his way. He is a fascist. His only problem with hate speech is that it reflects badly on the party. Discriminate, just don’t say you are discriminating. And his current insignia is an old fascist emblem.

      • Evie says:

Omg, It gets worse and worse the farther you go down! What’s worse than Trump? Pence. What’s worse than Pence? Ryan. If it weren’t the reality we were facing, it would be wildly entertaining.

      • KB says:

No way is Paul Ryan worse than Trump and Pence. He’s very conservative, but Trump and Pence lost the plot long ago. Paul Ryan was denouncing Trump’s BS at every turn during the campaign, even after he reluctantly endorsed him.

      • Prettykrazee says:

Yes, I do. Trump is a racist blowhard. He is also an idiot that knows nothing about government or how it’s ran. We also know he will throw anyone including his own party under the bus to make himself look good in the public eyes. As much as he acts as though the publics opinion doesn’t matter, he feeds off of the deplorables adulation. And doesn’t want it to go away. Hence the Victory tour.
Pence is slightly better than Ryan because we also know where he stands. He’s an idealogue.
The reason I believe Ryan is the worst of the three is he is a product of the very thing he is trying to take away from the less fortunate. He will say or do anything for the good of the party. Sure he denounced what Trump said during election season, but he did so begrudgingly. If he truly believed Trump was wrong, why isn’t he denouncing Jeff Sessions appointment to Atty General or Steve Bannon being the chief advisor to the president. He could care less. He is a well connected snake. That will do or say anything to get his agenda passed.

      • Anna says:

Paul Ryan thinks that letting poor children starve builds character, and he’s STILL the best we can hope for right now. What a miserable state of affairs.

      • cynic says:

Paul Ryan wants to destroy Medicare and Social Security, even though he used Social Security payments to pay his way through college.

      • I Choose Me says:

So basically it’s assholes all the way down. Gotcha.

I’m not a praying person but I feel like I oughta start. To all my American CB gals (and guys) my thoughts are with you.

      • KB says:

Ryan can’t eliminate SS or Medicare/Medicaid because seniors, a crucial part of the republican base, rely on both.

      • Kate says:

Seniors are big on getting their own benefits, but are generally very harsh on anyone else getting any, including future seniors. There would definitely be support from Republicans if they only kept up existing payments and support.

      • tw says:

Ryan is more dangerous in a lot of ways because he could be more effective. My hope is that Trump will butt heads more and more with Republicans and the party and its agenda will implode.

    • Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

Brexit will happen sadly, I think Teresa May has a plan but is playing a shrewd game by keeping her cards close to her chest. The are people in the UK parliament who would love to fk up the negotiations to further their own small minded agenda (Jeremy Corbyn and Nicola Sturgeon for a start). Plus she’s not going to give the EU any indication of her plans so that they can then slap them down.

Even if Trump and Pence go down in flames, GOP will still be in charge and there is no way they will let their grip on power go without a fight.

      • Sixer says:

I concur. No way Brexit isn’t happening. I had some minor doubt in June but the Overton Window has shifted so far in the UK since then, there’s no way it won’t happen. The Union breaking up is more likely. Northern Ireland has already gone to pot.

      • Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

Re: the Union breaking up. It partly depends on the Brexit deal May gets and the rest on the appetite of the people. In Scotland their is little appetite for another Indy Ref vote which is why Jimmy Crankie came out and said that there wouldn’t be another vote for some time – she’s beginning to realise her obsessive rhetoric is causing her votes, the SNP is going to lose a lot of their majority in the local elections this year. They have ignored the real issues in favour of their obsession and it will cost them. Plus everyone can see that she’s fudging the budget and making severe and unnecessary cuts to local authorities to feather her indyref nest. Her chickens are coming home. Plus the Scottish people haven’t forgotten how the SNP got into bed with Trump over his golf course – I would like to see how much money he donated to them for their ‘help’, Sturgeon was all over him at the time.

      • Ramona says:

I am just a silly foreigner looking , so forgive my ignorance but why dont they play up the fact that Brexit guarantees Londons decline as a financial and cultural capital of the world. Or that London may chose to become a city state and be mean with their lovely revenue. Or that Scotland will almost certainly leave. Or that trade deals with the EU as a unit will be conditioned on free movement anyway. Or that future deals will take years to strike. Or that British exports to the EU will still have to conform to those regulations they hate so much. Or….I mean, I feel like it should be really easy to have another referendum, even if the question is something like “should we postpone Brexit for ten years”.

      • Nicole says:

Yea I agree except I could see the EU playing hardball with them. Britain seems under the deluded impression they will keep all the EU benefits without actually BEING in the EU.
Doesn’t matter how close she keeps her cards the EU has already said they aren’t getting all the benefits they had before. What I’m interesting in seeing (as a foreigner) is how this effects the brain drain in the EU. The benefits of open travel between counties meant a lot of talent moving through the EU. So it will be interesting to see if the numbers of people relocating to the U.K. For jobs or school declines.

      • dodgy says:

I don’t think May is shrewd as much as she’s being controlled by Murdoch, tbh. She’s pretty much making enemies of Europe, and seemingly looking to throw in our lot with Trump, It’s a disgrace how Corbyn is just for brexit too.

      • Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

When May was in charge of the Home Office she earned a rep for being a shrewd hard ball player who kept her cards close – this is how she rolls. She knows how to play with the big boys, specially the babies in the EU. Am on the fence with her but am prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt – we will see her mettle when Article 50 is eventually invoked.

There are parts of the public, press and parliament that think we can keep bits of the EU, May has been saying from the beginning that we will be leaving completely and in every way. There there will be no ‘keep the bits we like’ – she has been consistent with this. There is even going to be a “Great Repeal Bill’ where we dump EU laws/rules etc.. – we don’t know what this is yet and won’t until Article 50 is invoked. She won’t start showing her hand till the divorce process has been started.

As for London being a centre for Financial Services – yes i agree that will be affected for a period but when these capitalist companies who flock to the EU realise that they will be controlled more by bureaucrats they will come running back – the EU will regulate the sh!t out of them.

      • Elisa the I. says:

the way it looks now Brexit will def happened and the UK will get a similar deal as non-EU-members Switzerland and Norway, meaning they will pay a lot of money to have access to the EU-market – and they will have to stick to EU-regulation, without having any active voting rights. Merkel (and let’s be honest, Germany is calling the shots in the EU) has already stated several times there will be no special deal for the UK. Many banks, financial institutions and big companies are headquartered in Frankfurt (Germany) which is eager to attract more. As far as I understood, Dublin (Rep. of Irland still being an EU-member) is also trying to attract companies from the financial sector (which to me seems the smartest option for companies wanting to remain in the EU).
Again, I don’t see any chance that the UK will have an easy Brexit. This could put the whole EU at risk as other EU-members will then also demand special deals.

      • Lady D says:

“Northern Ireland has already gone to pot. ” Pun, Sixer?

      • K2 says:

Brexit is indeed happening, but if Theresa May has a plan, it isn’t one she is sharing with the Senior Civil Service. Given they are the people who actually research, draft and implement the policy of the reigning government, I’d say that is something of a problem.

    • Aiobhan Targaryen says:

Unfortunately not, it would go to that ghoul Paul Ryan and then whoever is President pro tempore of the US Senate (Orin Hatch currently), then the Secretary of State (currently John Kerry).

      • isabelle says:

I had rather have them with the nuclear codes versus Trump. Give me the worst Republican in the house over Trump. They at least are politicians who care about getting votes. At this point I swear Trump with pull a “dead Zone” on us and launch nukes or even destroy America. He is nuts.

      • Aiobhan Targaryen says:

@Isabelle John Kerry is the only sensible one in this bunch. I know people think Paul Ryan and the other Rethugs are better but I cannot co-sign this. Paul Ryan wants to get rid of the social safety net that has kept this country together piece by piece to make sure he and his thugs are lining their pockets and keep everyone else down. What is worse is that he is a hypocrite who would not have survived if it was not for SS, the first thing he wants to take apart after ACA.

His plans are draconian and against everything that America is supposed to be.

      • isabelle says:

We can recover from laws passed, especially if we get a Dem house and President, just 4 years from now. We can fight it legally and through voting, even two years from now we can vote in a new hosue. They can change, get rid of and pass laws but we can’t recover from ashes or a nuclear war. Telling you he is dangerous, way more than passing laws, I say this as a biracial woman.

    • Zazz says:

The irony of Trump narsistic political adventure is that it will put much more scrutiny and pressure over his past, present and future private life AND over its own business empire in a way it has never been exposed to.

All those tax evasion but also little dirty secrets will come out of light sonner or later. He won’t be enjoying booty calls, p… grabing and other nasty stuff his dirty old self ususally enjoy.

    • Nicole says:

Yea probably not. There’s a line of succession and unfortunately they are all worse than trump because it’s career politicians that have history of shit policy.
Brexit is going to happen because the EU has repeadedly said they want U.K. To trigger article 50. It’s not up to Britain to be all “oops my bad let’s stay”. At this point they’ve pissed off the EU with this mess.
Will 2017 be better? Who knows. My country could trigger a domino effect that creates a war. So eh I wouldn’t hold my breath

      • milla says:

Brexit is not that bad since EU is falling apart. The whole concept of EU was destroyed by US and Russia. If you look at original plan back from the 50s, you will see which countries were suppose to be in and why. This is just messy, look at Greece, then Spain and Italy…

As for this little scandal, it bugs me that so many people decided not to vote. Blame them, then the rest. They helped him. The problem with US is that people always blame outsiders, but your system has been collapsing for years, if not decades, so you need to start looking at your own garden before attacking others.

I doubt orange one will do as much damage to the States, as he will to Europe and not to mention middle East. For you, it will four yrs of this. And if you don’t see that you have a problem, you will get another four yrs. It is will be painful, but look at the mess American government created over the years all over the world. orange one is just icing on a really ugly, disturbing, hellish cake.

      • Sixer says:

Brexit will happen because ENGLAND (not the entire UK) wants it to more than it cares about risking a recession/depression. If the UK decides not to trigger Article 50, then the UK won’t leave (this won’t happen though). The rest of the EU can’t MAKE Britain leave, no matter how much Britain has pissed them off, nor would they even want to. Britain’s entire 40 year membership has been spent pissing off the other member states. It’s nothing new. We’ve been awful partners all along.

      • Sixer says:

PS: Once the UK *does* trigger Article 50, Nicole, you are right: the other member states will not make it easy.

      • Nicole says:

um @milla if you’ve seen literally any of my other posts on this election you would know that i’ve been critical of this country my entire life. I’m a minority and a woman there’s no sunshine and rose colored view of america over here. Just because I criticized the absolute mess that is Brexit does not mean I also don’t think America is a mess either. I can think more than one thing is a problem…shocking I know

      • isabelle says:

They aren’t worse than Trump because they are true politicians and want to remain politicians. They, believe it or not have limits.Trump only wants the power, that is it, well power and worship. No one at this point could be worse than Trump because of nuke codes. Would you trust them with the codes over Trump? Id o think in all seriousness, our nukes are now in the hands of a crazy man. He is bonafide crazy and very very dangerous.

All those who stayed home and didn’t vote. I still can’t get around that. Sad, it still makes me sad.

    • Bashful says:

If both Trump and Pence are compromised, Hillary still does not get to be President.

In the case that the president can no longer serve, the vice president would serve as president. If the vice president cannot serve, the line of succession falls to the speaker of the House, then to the Senate president pro tempore, then to Cabinet members.Sep 26, 2016

They have already confirmed people in the report were not in Russia nor with Trump when the report says they were.

  2. Sixer says:

I think the forward march of neo-fascism owes us at least one meme-generating sniggerfest. We need something to sustain us so that we can fight it otherwise we’ll all be throwing ourselves off a cliff or something. So I am enjoying #goldenshowergate almost as much as I enjoyed #piggate here in the UK last year.

Just for today. Tomorrow, I will be reflecting on how low our democracies have sunk that we are led by people who do such things as shagging the mouths of dead pigs or paying people to pee on them and somehow making it racist.

Just let me have today. Please.

  3. Amelia says:

    GoldenGate.

    *Is sick*

But, also impressed by Buzzfeed’s continual presence and participation in major news stories. Sure, there’s ‘Ten Things You’ll Recognise If You’re a Student’, but there are also gems like this.

If anyone gets the opportunity, the entire report is well worth a read and written very clearly. Buzzfeed’s editor in chief has outlined that there are some factual inconsistencies that they’re still following up, but it’s absolutely damning otherwise.

    • Onerous says:

I read it last night. The prostitution part is frankly the least damning. CBS just had a former CIA operative on who said the report is written exactly how field reports are written. That, in both form and function, it looks correct. These reports are basically information dumps that then get fleshed out to see if there’s reason for further investigation. And the FBI is investigating.

I thought the part about Trump & associates reporting to the Kremlin about Russian oligarchs in the US for EIGHT YEARS to be particularly interesting. As well as the part about Putin being disappointed that Trump wasn’t “more effective.” Lol! Even Putin thinks he’s a loser!

      • mee says:

yes, while golden showers and prostitutes are fun twitter news, come on – his associates were coordinating and sharing information for years!? And if this was circulating last summer/fall, why didn’t the FBI decide to release news about it last year that they were “investigating” the report but instead announced they were reopening Hillary’s investigation? that’s the real news. And it now takes “news” outlets like Buzzfeed to put this out there. #ImPeechment

      • Lambda says:

That’s my take, too. The prostitution part, meh. Though, what would you make of one’s judgement when falling in an obviously FSB arranged honey pot, in Moscow no less, where every Tom, Dick and Harry of above average interest are under surveillance?

But the info on collusion, exchange of info and possible blackmail – holly cow! The allegation that Trump is actually OK with the cone of light falling on his relations with Putin, in order to obscure more lucrative and corrupt dealings with China? Delightful. Those tax returns sound good right now, no? Maybe concerned Trump supporters could pressure their president to make them public, just to clear his name? How long does that IRS audit take anyway?

      • SusanneToo says:

I think it’s getting so much play because everybody “knew” in their hearts that there was a trump/Russia connection. The pee part, his incredible arrogance/stupidity, that’s new. We knew he was a vulgar POS, this is a concrete detail.

    • Llamas says:

Much of this is unverified. Buzzfeed said so itself. NYT refused to publish it BECAUSE its unverified. Let’s not go around spewing news that isn’t verified. That’s the type of stuff that messes the American people up. If we are being fed unreliable news then everything gets worse.

      • Frida_K says:

        @Llamas

That’s very nice of you to be concerned about purity of information, getting along, and not making things worse. Were you this sweet and concerned when President Obama was smeared up one side and down the other?

Whether you were or whether you were not, here’s my take:

If there was absolutely no merit in it whatsoever, I think that he would sue. Instead, he tries to pretend that giving his business to his sons is ethical and we should be grateful. And he tries to ram his cabinet picks down our throats. And he insults the mainstream press while having a front row seat for his pals at Breitbart. And so forth.

Whatever garbage gets thrown at him is nothing less than he deserves. The fact that this is believable, whether or not it all is true (and there’s enough truth in the documents that Buzzfeed has the courage to print it), speaks volumes.

And as vile as he has been over the years…well, too bad he doesn’t like it but karma packs a punch.

        #notmypeeotus #goldenshowers #hahahahahaaha

  4. Aiobhan Targaryen says:

I don’t think it is kink shaming at all. It was the malicious intent as to why he bought the prostitutes to do what they did on that bed that is the problem for me. It was to somehow defile the Obamas-even though they had left the room and that room had been thoroughly cleaned after they left.

Not that this really matters, wasn’t he already married to Melania and raising Baron when this story supposedly took place?

I actually believe a lot in this story because some of it has been out there for a while, like Manafort’s ties to Ukraine etc. I wish this was enough to take him and his entire crew down, but it won’t be. The only thing I will enjoy is that rat face Conway’s struggle to spin her way out of this whole thing.

    • Farah says:

This! I wrote my comment before I saw yours. Trump is disgusting.

    • Sixer says:

I think golden showers are a bit weird but if it’s your bag, feel free with my blessing. Mocking some hapless civilian for enjoying it could be harmless general mickey-taking or could be kink-shaming, depending on circumstance.

Mocking TRUMP for golden showers? NOT kink-shaming. Paying prostitutes to pee on you does not make you an oppressed minority, particularly if you are about to become the most powerful person in your country. And particularly if the reason you’re getting off on it is racist. Peasants being allowed to satirise the powerful is a vital and important thing.

      • Megan says:

He paid prostitutes to wee on each other while he watched. I can’t believe I just typed that about the president elect.

      • Aiobhan Targaryen says:

ITA. I want to believe that this is small payback for what he did during his entire campaign and for the last four or five years of Obama’s time in office He tried to do everything he could to prove that Obama was a fake: fake president, fake American, fake Christian, and nothing he did stuck. He could do nothing to publically humiliate Obama, so he does something in private that ends up blowing up in his face in the long run. I want to make a pun about this but I think it would be best to refer to Twitter for better examples.

A good chunk of this info is not only going to be a ding on him personally (because he is a narcissistic buffoon) but the Republicans as a whole, at least I hope so. Schumer may be a bit more willing to fight than Harry Reid ever was. If not, I propose that every Democrat who sits back and does nothing gets primaried out of office, to be replaced with a Dem who will do their jobs.

      • lightpurple says:

My concern is for the poor hotel maids who had to clean up that mess.

      • Arpeggi says:

If golden showers are your thing, then sure go ahead. That’s the least of my worries when it comes to Trump.

But if you’re going with a golden shower party, do it in your own room/bed and clean after yourself. Hotel maids aren’t paid wel enough to deal with that stuff and it’s incredibly disrespectful to destroy a room and have “peasants” clean your mess.

      • Otaku Fairy says:

@lightpurple: I thought the same thing.

    • lightpurple says:

The story also shows that he easily fell into the world’s oldest blackmail trap. Businessman on business trip accepts gifts of prostitutes from business associate. And gets filmed. Shows he is a moron, not careful, and easy prey. Not what one wants leading a nation.

      • Aiobhan Targaryen says:

Pretty much. This is proof positive that every person running for president( or any public office) needs to be fully vetted before they run for office. If you don’t provide your financials before you start your campaign, you are automatically disqualified from running for any office.

It is not about shaming people for making financial mistakes, it is to prevent shit like this from happening.

Also, get rid of the electoral college.

      • Mumzy says:

Yes! Yes! Yes! Electoral College needs to go!!!

      • Esmom says:

Yes, all of this. At first I thought this didn’t ring true because I didn’t think he hated Obama with quite that much intensity…but upon further reflection I realize I was mistaken in giving him even the tiniest iota of a pass when it comes to his attitude toward Obama. Human garbage, he truly is.

    • hogtowngooner says:

I didn’t know he’d stayed in the same room as the Obamas. He’s despicable and so SO petty.

It reminds me of a line from the move Mississippi Burning (great film). Gene Hackman’s character is telling a story about his father who killed the mule of a black man in a neighbouring farm. His father said “Son, if you ain’t better than a n**ger, who are you better than?” That’s always stuck with me and seems to apply to POS’s like Trump.

  5. Tiffany27 says:

This doesn’t matter. He ran a racist, misogynistic, and homophobic campaign and still one. The only way he would lose support is if he said “Black Lives Matter”

    • NastyWoman` says:

All of this. He already denied it and the deplorables believe him over their lying eyes and ears. End of.

I need some hard evidence to bring him down. From legitimate, irrefutable sources.

    • Ramona says:

Not even that. His supporters would be like “he is just saying that to trick them. He is playing 4D Chess. Look how smart our God Emperor is.”

    • hogtowngooner says:

Agreed. His supporters won’t defend it, they’ll just deny it. Like they do with everything they don’t like about their Dear Leader. All they care about is that liberals are pissed off and sad. That was the victory.

      • Kitten says:

I just wasted way too much trying to engage in a debate with a Trump-supporter. He quite literally believes that anything that isn’t from a conservative news site is a lie.
He ACTUALLY believes everything that’s been said about Trump is a complete and utter lie.

His response to every one of my points was “But Hillary” because, of course.
I seriously weep for humanity because this country is filled with lemmings..idiotic fucking lemmings.

On that same friend’s page was a guy who posted this: “I just finished watching the news conference and he (Trump) DESTROYED the press!!!”

THAT was his takeaway from the press conference.
        We’re all completely fucked.

  6. Farah says:

The golden shower is not a Trump kink. That’s a deeply disturbed racist wanting defile the place a black man slept for DARING to be successfuld. He can’t believe Obama is born in America. He can’t understand how Obama got into Harvard when Trump was denied. Trump’s hatred of Obama is sick

    • JenB says:

Exactly right. It’s so disgusting. Reports are unconfirmed but seems completely in line with how despicable Trump is.
Interesting, I didn’t know that bit about Trump not getting into Harvard.

    • Tate says:

      You are exactly right, Farah.

    • Aiobhan Targaryen says:

      ITA 1000%

    • Luca76 says:

Yes exactly Farah. He’s sick in the head and deeply racist.

    • Miss V says:

You’re a million percent right. The golden showers thing is not sexual. It is a sick, perverted way to defile and disrespect the Obama’s and what the represent. We already knew Trump was deplorable. This shows how truly mentally disturbed he is.

  7. detritus says:

SethMeyers had an interview with Conway.

He keeps shutting down her nonsense and lies, and calmly states that he is very concerned.
She cannot deal. It is a beautiful thing.

Also, you can be sex positive and side eye sex work in Russia, and this in particular. It’s not about a kink, it’s about using this kink the as degradation of a memory. Plus, I don’t have high hopes for the health and safety, and general freedom of choice, of women in Putin’s Russia.

    • dotdotdot says:

I wish the press would focus on more important things. Sure pissing in every corner of a presidential suite is klickbait and hashtag gold — but what is scarier is his cabinet of horrors nominees being send for comformation (all at the same time) without passing the ethics committee first. Basically. I would have liked, if he had nailed her down on that! This is some distraction bullshit and an opportunity for the press to self-congratulate.

      • Lynnie says:

I read that due to pressure Republicans have delayed 4 of the confirmation hearings

      • Kitten says:

My BF watched the Jeff Sessions confirmation hearing on CSPAN yesterday and said the only one really going in on him was Al Franken. They’ll all be confirmed, though, make no mistake about that.

      • lightpurple says:

Lindsay Graham was practically hold his hand and pouring tea and sherry for him and going on about knowing what it is like to be a poor, misunderstood, wrongfully villified “southern conservative.”

      • SusanneToo says:

@Lynnie. I saw Chris Hayes say that some had been delayed because of intense pressure. Yesterday’s George C. thread had suggestions for putting on the pressure. Keep it up, everyone.

      • Kitten says:

@LP-Yeah he said Graham was licking Trump’s nuts the whole time.

      • Louisa says:

ITA We need to resist the temptation of letting #goldenshowers take away from the more important issues at hand which are the confirmation hearings this week. As dotdotdot said above, some nominees have not even been vetted or completed the necessary ethics paperwork first which is unheard of and I believe (please correct me if I’m wrong) illegal. Why is this being allowed?
I’m really starting to believe that with a majority republican house and senate all laws are out the window in order for them to pass their agenda. We’re living in scary times.

      • Grey says:

@Kitten… I had a question for you, and if it is too personal I won’t be offended! I was just wondering what your BF is thinking about this giant shit show after voting 3rd party. Has anything made him see it differently? I don’t mean this to be an offensive question, just am curious based on covos I have had with my hubs after all has been said and done with.

      • Kitten says:

@ Grey-Not too personal at all!
My BF is horrified at what’s happening. He has assured me numerous times that he would have voted HRC if we were in a swing state but I won’t lie: it still bugs me that he voted Stein.

The thing is, he’s hyper-critical of both parties and he has sent me plenty of links criticizing Obama. I often find myself in a position of defending Obama and pointing out all of his accomplishments when BF tries to go in on him. So last night when we were hanging out, waiting to watch Obama’s speech I kept making statements like “I know you hate Obama but…” and he was getting so angry with me like “I DON’T hate Obama!!!”
My reply was that I thought he was overly critical of O’s administration to the point where very rarely if ever did he acknowledge Obama’s achievements, only his failures.

So when we sat down to listen to Obama’s speech last night, guess who got all teary-eyed and kept saying over and over again “We’re going from this classy, amazing guy to Trump” and “what a great guy”? LOL. Yup. The boyfriend.
(honestly we BOTH broke down when Obama was talking about Michelle and his girls)

So all that is to say that I don’t think he regrets his choice but I DO think he feels slightly guilty for helping the Bernie Bros perpetuate the false narrative that HRC is evil. But he’s softened a LOT on Hillary (and Obama) since he met me, which is great. He inspires me to be more open-minded politically because he’s one of the few people I know who is open to changing his position on a myriad of issues. I really love that about him.

      • Grey says:

@Kitten thank you! Its tricky waters to not always have the same political leanings as your significant other as I am quickly learning.

I am also so so glad to hear I am not the only person who couldn’t hold all the tears back when Obama was giving his farewell speech, I too cannot believe that we are going from that classy, gracious man to the disaster that is Trump.

    • Otaku Fairy says:

@detritus: You have a good point about Russia and the way women are treated. Here’s some (depressing) news about their parliament’s decision on domestic violence laws.
      http://jezebel.com/russian-parliament-passes-law-decriminalizing-domestic-1791076784

  8. FGS says:

Well, I guess it’s time to start covering everything in the WH with plastic.

  9. grabbyhands says:

It’s not kink shaming, because it is the behavior of a vile, hateful, disgusting little man child.

Unfortunately, unless they come out with an iron clad source that can confirm any of this (and let’s face it, even then his mouth breather supporters would just squeal that it it was fake news made up by the libtard media), it will all remain grossly entertaining, believable, but not provable speculation.

  10. RussianBlueCat says:

I am not surprised that the Russians have dirt on donald. I would bet there is more to come. But I also have to wonder if this is just a ploy to deflect donald’s relationship with Russia which many people are uncomfortable with? Release some not too damaging info, donald tweets his outrage at such allegations and both parties just “step back” from having a too cozy relationship in public.
What I would like to know is whatever happened to James Comey, head of the FBI? He certainly caused a stink during the election. That bears looking into as well

    • lightpurple says:

And Comey knew about this in August. And decided to break FBI protocol and release speculation about Clinton’s emails just days before the election instead of dealing with this. McConnell knew too. And Ryan.

      • RussianBlueCat says:

The whole situation seems very shady.

      • isabelle says:

It makes sense now. Why? Comey may have intended to come forth with the Russian ties , however, his agents went rogue. As reported by several big news agencies. They still wanted Trump over Hillary for whatever asinine sexist reasoning. So its possible Comey wanted to entertain them before releasing the Russian stuff. Whatever, happened, Comey is a hot mess and it tells me the agents really were rogue.

    • Carmen says:

Trump is Putin’s bitch. He’s 3 billion dollars in debt. That’s billions with a B. No way any reputable financial institution is going to bail him out of that hole. I wonder how much the Russian mob is into him for.

  11. Nancy says:

Spoiler Alert. The always gracious and lovely Kellyanne was on GMA and denied it all. The media smears Trump now and during the entire campaign. How much lemon-lime (to match her hair) kool aid does she have to consume before she explodes.

    • Surferrosa says:

Give Kellyanne some credit (sarcastic), she is really working hard at the PR spin with what has to be literally the worst client imaginable. You have to hand it to her though….. she’s giving it all she’s got so that Trump names her hubby to the Supreme Court. What a woman will do to further her husband’s career! I can’t wait to see her and the other minions “distance” themselves from Trump when he finally crashes and burns.

      • Nancy says:

This is more than pimping a job for her husband. I truly believe the kool aid comment I made above, that if at Johnstown, she would have stood next to Jones as the people died. She is a sick twist spreading the hate of Satan. This isn’t politics or like or dislike anymore, these people are despicable and ripping apart the core of America’s heart and possibly our salvation. I have to stop. I hate starting every morning talking about trump and his disciples.

      • Christin says:

        Birds of a feather…

      • Lady D says:

A bird Trump will not think twice about throwing under a bus if he has to. She thinks her job is secure in a Trump administration.

      • ME says:

It’s not Kool-Aid because that minimizes the simple fact that she is vile and horrid person. She knows what she’s doing – she is the female Goebbels. I read a comment like this a while back: “Seemingly “normal” Germans worked in concentration camps during the day and would go home to their wives/husbands and children, sit at dinner, relax, play and get up the next day to slaughter and torture people.” This really struck home there are some really evil people in this world and this crop now occupying the highest offices in the US are part of them – that’s not an exaggeration. They thrive on bullying those that they believe are beneath them, thrive on ensuring that they are the only ones with power and basic freedoms and see no problems in physical harm to get their points across.

      • Christin says:

@Lady D – Every bird around him is expendable.

On that topic, I would like to know the backstory of Carolyn, his blonde, one-time executive who was also a judge on his show until she was fired by him.

    • Jenns says:

Kellyanne was on Seth Myers last night and used the exact same script. I’ll give her this–she is the queen of deflection.

      • Shambles says:

But… she’s not even good at deflecting, IMO. Her answers are always ridiculous and juvenile. She’s just catering to an audience that’s stupid enough to find answers like that acceptable.

      • SusanneToo says:

On CBS a few minutes ago. I love that she’s seen the dossier, knows it’s true and still has to bumble around denying it.

      • Kitten says:

@Shambles-She isn’t “good at deflecting” according to us but she absolutely provides Trump’s supporters with the reassurance they seek and that’s all that matters. She’s like a Fox News Crowd-whisperer.

      • lightpurple says:

Trump supporters parrot her within minutes.

      • Shark Bait says:

My mom posted some video of Kellyanne on some Fox show saying that people like Meryl Streep should have brought up the four “thugs” in Chicago who tortured a disabled teen. My mom ate that crap up, she knows just what to say to reassure the deplorables.

      • Lambda says:

Conway is paid by Robert Mercer. She’s working hard for that money, but I bet that money’s good.

    • Kitten says:

I saw the interview this morning and it was a good thing I had a coffee mug in my hand because I was SO ready to punch my TV screen. What a vile POS Conway is.

      • Nancy says:

Right kitten. Her smugness permeates through the screen. Every single host/commentator looks like their head is going to spin because she simply refuses to address the issues presented to her. She is the original Stepford Wife.

      • Tiffany27 says:

I truly believe if you cut her sulfuric acid would come out.

      • Nancy says:

Haha! I can hear her now as she fades away………………I’M MELTING!! The Wicked Witch of the West was much nicer. I can seriously see Kellyanne having a breakdown. Watch her, she sits up very straight in her chair, doesn’t acknowledge facts and has a monotone voice as she spills her scripted words. Definitely programmed to explode

      • ME says:

I can’t watch her but what surprises me is that so many really smart people can’t figure out how to handle her. Letting her complete her word-salads of nothingness is not helpful to our cause – different tactics needs to be employed. Not sure what they are, perhaps it’s what Chris Cuomo did but not sure.

As an aside, people should really follow Evan McMullin on twitter. As a conservative he has been hitting hard against Trump – great tweets.

  12. justsaying says:

Maybe it’s true that the GOP and Russia try to take the Donald down.

  13. Jenns says:

He has a press conference today. Does anyone know if it’s live STREAMING…?

I’m sorry for the bad joke, but I never want this to go away. Until the Angry Yam produces some thing that proves this isn’t true, I refuse to believe otherwise. And if anyone thinks I’m being unfair, Mango Flesh demanded the same proof for Obama’s birth certificate.

  14. Surferrosa says:

This definitely smells like an inside (Republican) job. Until this morning, I strongly believed Trump wouldn’t last more than 2 years before the old guard of the Republican party decided to cut him loose. Now I think he won’t be president by Christmas. I think this was part of the plan from the very beginning. Someone really needs to whisper in his ear, “karma will get you every time”. Trump is going to crash and burn so hard, all thanks to his own doing.

    • GMonkey says:

Well, McCain is the one who turned the dossier in to the FBI.

    • Kelly says:

I do think that Trump is going to have a very short honeymoon with Congress. I do think they are letting him get away with his numerous ethical problems until it becomes politically convenient for them to start caring about them. Once he isn’t 100% cooperative with Ryan and McConnell’s nihilistic, burn everything down that Obama tried to accomplish agenda, then they’ll suddenly remember that he refused to release his tax returns, put a sincere effort into divesting his messy, tangled ball of yarn of business interest and is a likely Russian puppet, sleeper agent, or honey trap victim. Let the impeachment hearings begin!

  15. manda says:

Ok, too much to read right now, but why would Barack and Michelle care about him pissing in a bed that they had already slept in? And why would it matter anyway, as if hotels don’t clean up after their guests? What an asshole

    • SusanneToo says:

I doubt they care. In fact, I hope they’re shrieking with laughter and dancing around with glee now that this is out.

      • Shark Bait says:

I bet they are laughing at him. Ugh, I loved them so much and I will miss them. I’m unfortunately still facebook friends with some horrible human beings who said awful things about them and even mocked the farewell address last night. Of course these same people hated Hillary with a passion and are a okay with Trump. It’s basically what Pres. Obama said about bubbles last night, I cannot just cut these people out of my life.

      • Kelly says:

Both of them, plus the Clintons and Bidens, are probably laughing their butts off about this report.

Is it petty of me for wanting them to act like Statler and Waldorf of Muppets fame at the inauguration? That would be the only way that it’s worth watching.

  16. lightpurple says:

He is melting down on Twitter and cites as his character reference – Russia. And he is talking about his “movement,” not a topic one should raise while bathroom habits are being discussed. Oh, and he claims he easily won. Pay no attention to that 3 million vote deficit.

  17. JustME says:

I want that the whole Trump family will be brought down.

  18. MunichGirl says:

So that’s the reason for his weird skin color. #peegate

  19. JulP says:

I doubt this would change anything, even if it were true. There’s no way the Republicans in the House will initiate impeachment proceedings. They clearly care more about being in power than anything else (including treason). Also, if Trump is impeached, then we get Pence (or Paul Ryan if Pence is implicated in all this). So, as someone on Jezebel aptly pointed out last night, we have a choice between The Road and The Handmaid’s Tale :/

By the way, I think the explanation is a lot simpler than this – I think Trump owes a lot of money to Russian investment firms (Bayrock group, for starters), and the only way to repay the debt is to do Putin’s bidding. That’s why he won’t release his tax returns. And you’d have to be an idiot at this point to not realize that Trump has committed treason. He’s been bashing American intelligence agencies and sided with Russia over our own president when he enacted sanctions. He also looked into a camera lens and asked Putin to hack into Hillary’s emails.

    • Christin says:

As Kaine asked the other day, why is orange one acting like Vlad’s defense lawyer? Repeatedly!

  20. Tate says:

Response on twitter to Trump…. “Urine trouble”

  21. Shambles says:

    Oh, God.
    *Vomits*

Now that that’s over, to the important stuff.

Oh, so he’s been in contact with the Russians for a while?! I AM SHOCKED. Not. It’s been obvious to me for quite some time that he was involved in the Russian meddling himself. The way he’s been denying it makes it clear that he at least knew about it, and was probably a part of it. I’ve been amazed that no one has had the balls to publicly put those pieces together, though it seems so obvious.

CNN says that the “FBI is investigating the credibility of the claims.” But who is investigating the credibility of the FBI?!?!?

All in all, it’s disgusting that we’ve sunk so low, but we’ve got to face it and fix it. Trump is a puppet, has an obvious and unhealthy obsession with the Obamas, but we’ve got bigger problems than him right now.

    • robyn says:

When I saw what Comey did to Hillary I know the FBI can get political. Why is Comey still there when he should have been fired. His Republican roots are showing and he wants Pence in the drivers seat is my guess.

      • Insomniac says:

Oh, Comey said yesterday that he doesn’t comment on investigations. To which one of the senators he was speaking to responded along the lines of “You’ve got to be shitting me.”

      • Esmom says:

Insomniac, I know, I heard that yesterday, too. I was like what the actual f^ck?? I’m glad someone called him out on that, not that it (truth/facts) makes a whiff of difference.

  22. robyn says:

Honestly, if it quacks like a duck … Donald Duck Trump has been in the tank for Russia since his entire campaign began. He was scared to show his taxes for what they would reveal. His love of Russia knew no bounds and still doesn’t. I wouldn’t object but don’t need proof or covert action to understand the obvious. Russia has a special place in his heart and possibly some blackmail material.

  23. Mumzy says:

Now we know why he goes to great lengths to sleep in his own bed every night … and wanted to continue to live in NY once POTUS–he knows very well what might have occurred on certain beds. Perhaps the Mrs. is staying behind to avoid living in former Obama space that may have been defiled? As an aside (far, far aside), isn’t this the kind of thing that could ruin He Who Must Not Be Named’s hotel business?

If nothing else, it’s a marketing opportunity. Soon appearing on a discount store shelf near you: Tbag branded UV lights for all your travel needs! They will be ‘uge…and golden. Cause the man loves some golden. 😔

  24. Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

I kinda agree with some commenters on here in that the Republic party could be behind this – he served his purpose by getting them in power now they are letting him hang himself to make it easier for them to push him out and replace him with their real candidate, Pence.

With this and the appointment of his dodgy and inexperienced son in law as a senior advisor – i can’t see him making it to inauguration.

  25. Rapunzel says:

Someone make my life and release this tape. Please. I don’t care if actually gets him impeached, I just want it out there. I want Agent Orange to be soooo humiliated.

Btw, everyone quoting sucession rules, but do those count when the oath hasn’t yet been taken? Is there any way we could get the whole election invalidated, if enough comes out in time?

  26. Rhiley says:

Will any of you be in Washington for the Women’s March? Booked my trip on November 10 🙂 I can’t wait. I am not looking forward to the next four years, but once again, I was so inspired by the intelligence, strong will, determination, and optimism of President Barack Hussein Obama. I love that man and his family so much. I vow to work hard and fight and not sit on the sidelines and whine. Roll up your sleeves, Democrats. We have work to do.

    • Mumzy says:

Totally with you. And not just Democrats have work to do. Anyone who cares about this country has work to do and we better figure out how to do it together cause it feels like the ship is taking on water a bit fast.

      • Rhiley says:

All good points. We can’t afford to be partisan. I can’t stand Senator Lindsay Graham. I think he made Benghazi into the witch hunt it was- talk about a witch hunt- but he is really going to be a strong voice in raising questions regarding trump’s ties to Russia. I am going to support him as he does.

    • lightpurple says:

Doing the Women’s March in Boston. Also attending the rally Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are holding Sunday to save the ACA.

    • Shark Bait says:

I will be there in spirit. The only person I have who would be able to get my oldest on the bus and pick her up after school, and possibly watch my littlest is my mom. My Trump loving mother who I am currently not speaking to lol.

    • Rene says:

Bravo!!! I will be with you in spirit, I am in Alberta and it is freezing right now. I am thrilled that women are going to protest and do something for your country. They can’t let him take office. He is one sick twisted freak.

    • Becks says:

I’ll be at the march in downtown LA.

  27. Megan2 says:

Well hey, Trump supporters; deny this report is true all you want. The fact is, lots of people are saying it’s true and talking about it, and it certainly FEELS like it could be true. So by all GOP benchmarks and standards, that means it IS true, right? ‘Cuz facts are really just the same thing as strongly held opinions these days, thanks to yourselves.

I know there are more serious issues you guys, but seriously this the first Trump story I have read in forever that hasn’t completely depressed me, even if only for entertainment value. I hate Trump so much that it is sort of enjoyable to see him getting mocked and knowing it is going to be eating at him for as long as this stays in the news cycle.

    • Sixer says:

I don’t think it even matters whether it’s true or not – like David Cameron and the pig not really mattering whether it was true or not. That it is SO believable as something Trump would do – that’s what matters. I hope he is laughed at for MONTHS over this and that, every time he opens his mouth, someone replies with a golden showers pun.

      • Kitten says:

ITA. I don’t GAF whether it’s true or not. I’m not even interested in the story beyond the fact that is further supports Trump’s connection with Russia. The only thing that I care about is generating as many pee-related memes as possible to post on Facebook.

      • Esmom says:

        LMAO.

      • Sixer says:

My favourite news satire show here, The Last Leg, did this joke back before the election, you know. For Trump, Rubio and Cruz. In an ACTUAL pub. Here you go:

        http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/pub-trump-rubio-cruz-urinals-piss-poll-article-1.2549191

I think this may be the best way to beat Trump. No outrage. Just mickey-taking. Every time he speaks or tweets, everyone should just say, “President Piss Pants, what are your thoughts on sales tax on incontinence pads?” Or “President Pee Pee, does your administration take a position on drug testing employees? Blood or urine? Has to be urine, right?”

      • Christin says:

How about mock-defending his alleged wealth by changing an old song’s title to, ‘Urine the Money’. Sort of a special theme song tribute to HIM.

      • Megan2 says:

        Yes! Agreed!

And, I would like it to be included in every. single. headline.

“Donald Trump, who denies taking part in a golden shower party, falsely claims credit for bringing back jobs.”

“Possible golden shower enthusiast and PEOTUS, Donald Trump, appoints horrible new Secretary of State”.

“PEOTUS Donald Trump, who was accused of hiring prostitutes to engage in golden shower party at Russian hotel, calls V Putin a ‘great leader’ and ‘close personal friend.'”

“Noted prostitute enthusiast Donald J. Trump calls media reporting “biased and very unfair” while appointing friends and families to various government posts in a clear violation of anti-nepotism laws.”

“Alleged prostitution and golden shower purveyor Donald Trump is also a horrible racist and liar.”

Seriously. I want every single news article, for the duration of his time in the public eye, to bring up these allegations. Because while the seriously egregious conduct is having no effect on him or his supporters, being mocked and ridiculed and gossiped about is what will hopefully lead to a full medical breakdown and he will be forced to leave office to take up residence in a padded room somewhere.

      • Sixer says:

Oh, Megan. A newspaper needs to hire you. Stat.

  28. Amy says:

I would be surprised if he manages to stay president for four years.

    • HappyMom says:

I agree. He’s going to get impeached or once he’s in there he’ll HATE every minute of it and want Pence to take over completely. I say he’ll resign for “health reasons.”

  29. SusanneToo says:

It gives me a bit of satisfaction knowing that lap dancing ivanka is learning this about daddy dearest. That family’s been kinky all along.

  30. BJ says:

This is much ado about nothing.

I need to know what could come out in the next nine days that could prevent him from taking office? (Besides a video of him killing a person)

    • Lambda says:

Pretty much nothing. Maybe if starts beating up a reporter on live TV? But he wouldn’t do it because Donald is not physical. When he had some realty dealings with known mafiosos, he’d always send others to those meetings, he was too afraid to meet the mobsters in person.

    • HappyMom says:

One of my friends posted that even if caught in the act of pedophelia, he would find a way to blame the victim, shame their family on twitter and have his supporters backing him up.

  31. Frannydays says:

I believe every word of it. Nothing surprises me when it comes the Donald Trump (whose face might look like that because of an accumulation of pee on it) gross I know.

  32. Tris says:

    What a day it was.

From the new leader of the UN: “Preventative action is essential to avert mass atrocities …we can achieve this only through reasoned discussion, based on facts and the pursuit of truth.”

From the outgoing leader of the US: “We need to uphold laws against discrimination…but laws alone won’t be enough. Hearts must change.”

From the PEOTUS: “Pee on me.”

    • Kitten says:

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. My boyfriend and I watched Obama’s speech last night and we both teared up. Sigh.

I just can’t believe we’re going from a polished, inspiring speaker (and a damn good POTUS) like Obama to THIS flaming dung heap.

    • mee says:

Ha! Peeotus quoting Shakespeare: “To Pee or not to Pee.”

    • Esmom says:

I didn’t know about this pee crap last night when I watched Obama’s speech but as always I was struck by his intelligence, warmth and humanity. The contrast to Trump is beyond, beyond staggering. And so utterly depressing.

      • cindy says:

Yes. This is where my mind keeps exploding. Part of me still can’t believe we could go from Obama to this…..remember 8 years ago when we were all so hopeful about this new president? And now, we are HERE?!?!?

  33. Emily C. says:

The misuse of the term “witch hunt” among politicians and virtually everyone else these days drives me nuts. You can’t “witch hunt” just one person! A witch hunt involves going after LOTS of people, and looking for more, and “finding” new reasons to continue looking for more. You can smear one person, lie about one person, persecute one person, etc. But you cannot “witch hunt” one person.

And yeah, I am so very very shocked that Putin had something on Trump. I would never have guessed in a million years. Really. Shocked.

  34. HK9 says:

I feel like this is the low-budget version of Game of Thrones where the characters that die are our civil liberties and the last vestiges of respect there is for the office of the President….I never thought I’d live to see this clusterf-k. How in the hell did the Republican Party let this happen? Let’s be real, there was enough money & power there to keep him out. How can they swear this guy in on the 20th???

  35. SusanneToo says:

Just want to say THANK YOU, KAISER, for today’s pics of donald. That’s the way to go. Ugly on the inside, ugly on the outside.

  36. Tris says:

Buzzfeed is the site that unearthed the videos of Rob Ford smoking crack here in Toronto. The comparisons between the two (big fat rich mentally and socially deficient turd breaks the law, talks about women’s pussies, yet gains popular support from racist hillbillies) are telling.
My prediction, after a tumultuous four years, Americans will elect a nice boring president to settle everything back down. You will survive (fingers crossed).

    • Christin says:

Thank you for the words of support. Love your city and wonderful people.

    • hogtowngooner says:

Hello fellow Torontonian! Yes, the parallels between the two are quite numerous. Thankfully, city council stripped him of most of his power while he was in office and the mayor of Toronto is a much less powerful position than POTUS, which is very scary. If the parallels follow, maybe the next president will be an inoffensive centrist like John Tory so sanity can prevail again? Dare we hope?

I must point out, though, that Gawker broke the Rob Ford crack video story, not BuzzFeed. But the point is, less likely news sources are doing the daring journalism we need right now. Teen Vogue of all places has stepped up HUGE.

  37. Jane says:

They won’t get rid of their puppet DT, Pence and Ryan are running this whole show – one way or another.

  38. Cee says:

He is not fit for office. How can this man replace someone like Obama?
You know, this was funny for like a second, now it’s just scary. Apparently the USA is no longer Russia’s counter-balance, and we are f*cked.

  39. Eric says:

Russia is certainly not done with Emperor Zero. They will bide their time and “release” more “golden” gems after the inauguration. China is laughing it’s ass off for all the “yellow river” jokes by IP Freely that are popular among American grade-schoolers.

  40. Luca76 says:

I agree that the Republicans want him to go, he was only useful to them until he secured the presidency. But he’s no Nixon as despicable as Nixon was he was also a politican loyal to his party. Nixon left to avoid prosecution and for the good of the nation once it became clear that impeachment was the only option. Trump won’t have any such concerns about the nation, the Republican Party etc. Remember even if a president gets impeached they still have to resign.

    • lightpurple says:

Among the bad, Nixon also did some good things, like expanding Medicaid. Trump barely knows what Medicaid is.

    • Christin says:

If his ‘brand’ is devalued and he’s a laughingstock either way, I am not sure he’ll willingly resign.

A few weeks ago, I thought he might resign with some lame reason (after all, sonny boy said Daddy would be taking a big step down if he won). Now I think he’ll be defiant and just keep going.

    • hogtowngooner says:

Agree with you on all points there. Trump’s ego won’t let him be kicked out of office (even if he hates the job). He’d burn the White House down before being dragged out of it. Eff the country. It is always ALWAYS about him.

  41. Sarah says:

And now Bernie sanders is heaping praise on trump

    https://newrepublic.com/article/139735/bernie-sanders-big-letdown

So disappointed in Bernie. He only cares about white voters.

    • Kitten says:

Thanks for the link–I sent it to my BF to piss him off lol.
I do think that’s part of Bernie’s strategic: trying not to alienate the white working class for if/when he makes a run in 2020.
What I find so amusing is that Trump-supporters generally despise Bernie The Socialist.

    • Luca76 says:

And this is why most POC weren’t here for Bernie, he is inherently an old style champion of the white working class. He’s not a racist in anyway but he’s very tone deaf.

      • Kitten says:

Yep. I think the article is a bit unfair in that the author took a lot of Bernie’s quotes out of context, but there’s definitely more than a kernel of truth to the main point, which is that Bernie panders largely to the white working class.

  42. SusanneToo says:

    PEEOTUS trump.

  43. Arwen says:

A witchhunt-A dark time in history where people were persecuted due to others fears and died for not conforming to societal norms.

No Donald. A witchhunt is what you are threatening to do to American citizens, NOT what is being done to you. But then again, intelligence and accountability were never your strengths.

  44. Marni112 says:

This “leak ” has brilliant timing…everyone will be focused on Trump’s press conference and not Tillerson confirmation hearing ….

  45. OhDear says:

I can’t believe that this is (allegedly) real life!

  46. EMAu says:

    Pissyleaks

  47. Shark Bait says:

I cannot believe he put leak in quotation marks in that Nazi Germany tweet. He is the biggest troll in history. I mean, nothing will stop him. Nothing will stop his cabinet picks.
When I saw that sign in Maryland the other day, the one that said “Jimmy, Meryl, and the rest of Hollywood… Donald Trump is our next president” I thought, yep, how dare you out of touch Hollywood the rilllll Mericans wanted a bully groomed by Putin!
Of course the deplorables laugh at us and are always say “uh oh must be Russia’s fault” about everything. They will go out of their way to defend Cheeto in Chief. Cognitive Dissonance at its finest!

  48. Lambda says:

I’m laughing just to avoid vomiting.

President Peepee is not a puppet, y’all! Make America Golden Again!

  49. S says:

I know the whole golden shower idea and the memes and puns its spawned — my initial, childish fav was someone replying to Trump after his ALL CAPS rant “urine abomination” — is a lot more funny, but the two-page intel report summary that CNN released, and then every legit news source went with, is truly terrifying stuff. And that’s getting lost amongst the BuzzFeed sensationalism, which is now the only thing the Trump people are responding to and, if any element therein is proved false (and, realistically, many of the claims probably aren’t totally accurate), most will dismiss EVERYTHING that was released, including the very real, very profound idea that Trump is the literal definition of a Manchurian President owned and colluding with an enemy power in Russia.

  50. LawBabe says:

If someone( or several people) had peed in a room or a bed that I was about to sleep in, I’m confident that I would smell it and get another room.

  51. SusanneToo says:

Mouthpiece just huffed and puffed to open the PC. It’s all lies. Lies, lies, lies.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yeah, 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  52. AfricanBoy says:

Is anyone watching the news conference? Trump got really angry when the journalist mentioned his tax returns.

    • Kitten says:

My BF watched it and said he sounded really nervous.

      • AfricanBoy says:

He is nervous, probably because he knows nothing about politics. The only thng I can say is good luck America because the next four years are going to be horrible.

Oh and he just said he will build the wall.

      • Insomniac says:

If I were about to start a job that I’d bluffed and connived my way into and was utterly unqualified for, I’d be scared to death. And that’s well before any news started coming out about just *how* I got that job.

      • Kitten says:

@ Africanboy-Yep. Thank god for marijuana and drinking games. Stock up, everyone!

@Insomniac-He truly has NO fucking CLUE how difficult it is going to be to repeal and replace the ACA (“simultaneously” as he’s calling for) in terms of cost and the sheer logistics of it. It’s so clear that he doesn’t understand any of the intricacies of healthcare. God what a fucking PUTZ this guy is. Clown.

    • LAK says:

Just finished watching it. That was combative. I feel like we should all strap ourselves in. It’s going to be a bumpy, tumbulent ride.

      • AfricanBoy says:

Yep, he didn’t even know what he was talking about.

      • HappyMom says:

I started to-but the moment he walked up to the podium I had to turn it off. I can’t listen to his smug voice or watch his orange face. I read the transcript and fact checking on NPR-that was upsetting enough.

  53. Kitten says:

McCain has totally redeemed himself in my eyes. I lost all respect for him after the Palin debacle. Yet I always appreciated how outspoken he was during the GW Bush administration …. glad to see the old McCain back.

    • steerpike says:

I appreciate what McCain is doing now, but I will never trust him. He has shown his true colors too many times. Remember, he was willing to put Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency.

  54. Gravitas2012 says:

Holy buckets. I really think this family is going to go down. All of them. Page 18 of the dossier states that Trump’s lawyer (called Cohen) met with Kremlin in a “soft part” of Europe (called Prague) in August 2016. As you may recall from a CB post many months back, Ivanka and Kushner vacationed with Wendi Deng (Putin’s lady) in Croatia in August 2016. Cohen now denies he’s ever been to Prague. What if it was actually Kushner? What if the meeting was actually in Croatia and not Prague? (Intelligence sources, much akin to tabloid sources, sometimes change facts to stories so as to not reveal the source. But nonetheless, there can be material veracity to the story being told.) Parting speculative thought, WTH is Kushner being given the position of senior advisor to the POTUS? Perhaps as “grace and favor” for playing a dirty hand in the Trump candidacy?

    • Louisa says:

It’s already been confirmed that it wasn’t Trump’s lawyer but someone else with the same name but did not have a US passport.
Buzzfeed should never have released the docs yet until they were verified. Stupid errors like this will take away from what is actually legit.

    • Louisa says:

Sorry, I will go back and check the source. I’ve been reading so much today (while at work!) and am losing track of what I read where!

    • Ennie says:

Kushner is close to an important Mexican Secretary of State, I remember reading they both attended the same university, and that is why the trump was invited to Mexico. Many opposed the visit, the secretary was fired and after the republican win, the secretary was reinstated in a different post, the one of the most vocal opponent to the visit… everything points to Kushner’s little fingers meddling in politics.

  55. teacakes says:

Since Donald is so obsessed with the Obamas, I suppose the White House housekeeping staff now have a heads-up to put plastic covers on all the furniture….

Jokes aside, I really hope this doesn’t end up covering up the horrors to come in terms of lack of ethics and financial opacity of Donald (I will keep calling him that since he hates his name).

  56. Marcy says:

Anyone see the TV SHOW Designated Survivor? That could be a powerful reality the way this is scaring the bejesus out of everyone.

  57. Miss Jupitero says:

    “It will hold liquid assets…”

    heh-heh…

  58. Dal says:

I’m singing that Miley Cyrus song but ive changed it from party to drama in the USA

  59. Turtle says:

Are we potentially seeing a situation where he steps down, allegedly for the good of the country, allowing him to re-enter the public sector and tour around raging against the lame-stream media, etc?

Also, a question for those more well-versed in election arcana: Does the U.S. Constitution allow for invalidating an election; for example, due to evidence of tampering or interference by a foreign government? I’m wondering if something like that is even possible. I’m guessing what might happen instead is the elected president and vice-president are impeached or forced to resign and the next in line moves up.

  60. Rico Shew says:

I’m surprised there’s no article about Obama’s last speech. Perhaps there’ll be one about his last day in office? I thought he made some good points.

“For too many of us, it’s become safer to retreat into our own bubbles, whether in our neighborhoods or college campuses or places of worship or our social media feeds, surrounded by people who look like us and share the same political outlook and never challenge our assumptions. The rise of naked partisanship, increasing economic and regional stratification, the splintering of our media into a channel for every taste – all this makes this great sorting seem natural, even inevitable. And increasingly, we become so secure in our bubbles that we accept only information, whether true or not, that fits our opinions, instead of basing our opinions on the evidence that’s out there.”

  61. Tallia says:

Well Trump has more in common with R Kelley than I thought.

I have to say since Trump was elected I have watched the news much less, turned off BBC or NPR anytime they have brought up his name and pretended the election never happened.

  62. Annetommy says:

    Q. What’s the difference between a chickpea and a lentil?
    A. Trump doesn’t pay money to have a lentil on his face.

  63. Tough Cookie says:

Trump will always be #PEEOTUS to me.

I hate that as an American I am soon to be represented by him.

Personally I don’t care if these graphic stories are officially confirmed or not…these things don’t come out of thin air. If it looks like a duck…

  64. Veronica says:

My suspicion is that Republicans are backing him because they plan to knock him out soon enough and set Pence in power. Which is also why I’ve Kept a wary eye on Pence from the start – he knew he could never win a presidential election, and this was his ticket to power.

    • Reece says:

That’s one of my theories. Or keep him there as distraction since they’ll be able to move anything through Congress. They didn’t get away with the Ethics Committee thing because people are still riled up and watchful but a year from now…?

  65. Lex says:

Having the soon-to-be leader of your country lashing out at random celebrities and websites on TWITTER is a humiliation and shame that I cannot even comprehend. Like, literally. How is this happening? How has his team not taken over his twitter? This sure is amateur hour.

  66. Mary says:

If he wasn’t so hated and loathsome you might believe him.
BUT I wouldn’t believe him if he told me my name.

  67. lol… this is not what he wants actually

  68. alexis says:

Haha this was confirmed as fake you morons. Someone over at either reddit or 4chan proved that they wrote this and it was an elaborate hoax. #fakenews

  69. robyn says:

I was very disappointed in CNN during the election but the treatment their reporter got at the so-called news conference was terrible. Donald Trump was a snarling hissing snake and an authoritarian jerk throughout. The word “rude” should never be uttered from his mouth as Trump IS Mr. Rude. He is the king of rude!!!!

Donald Trump can’t handle the truth. True news is fake to him and fake news or any pro-Trump propaganda, he claims, is the truth. It’s an upside world when his spokeswoman later danced around the truth with Anderson Cooper about how they reported this latest news. It is unbelievable she thinks media should be talking dresses and who will be wearing what at the inauguration when her p*ssygrabbing leader comrade Trump ran such a divisive hateful campaign … now we must forget everything and talk dresses. Don’t turn a blind eye people. Watch this guy like hawks. He is dangerous.
