I’m legitimately happy that Kim Kardashian is finally stepping out on pap strolls once again these days. I missed the discussions about her bad fashion. Since she took a break from pap strolls following her robbery in Paris, Kim has also rebooted her casual style a little bit. As we saw last week, Kim’s 2017 look – so far – involves what I describe as “high fashion grunge.” It’s grunge in that it seems like Kim is wearing thrift-store flannels. It’s high-fashion in that she pairs cheap flannel with stilettos and tragic leather pants.
Kim stepped out again on Tuesday in another high-fashion grunge ensemble and… yeah, I don’t know what to say. Like, the reason grunge was so popular was because it was so easy and comfortable. But does Kim look comfortable? No. She looks like she’s trying to hide either a pregnancy or a weight gain. Is she pregnant? I kind of doubt it. It was just last month when it felt like Kim and Kanye were absolutely on the rocks, and like Kim was seriously considering divorce. Nowadays it’s a different story though – People Mag had a story this week about how Kim and Kanye are doing a lot better:
Despite a difficult past few months, things are looking up for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. A Keeping Up with the Kardashians source tells PEOPLE that the 39-year-old rapper is doing all he can to make his wife happy, including filming the family’s E! show at her side.
“Kanye is really trying to please Kim. He realizes that his difficult behavior has been extremely draining for her,” the insider says. “He is trying to make it up to Kim by going along with things that are important to her. The show is still important to Kim, so Kanye will support her.” The source adds that the two are “still working on their issues separately.”
Kardashian West, 36, recently took a trip to Dubai, where she made her first public appearance since the robbery scare. West did not accompany the reality star to Dubai, but a source told PEOPLE that the two spend time together and are committed to making their relationship work.
“It doesn’t seem like they have plans to split now. Things don’t seem great, but it also seems they are working to change that. Kanye has been very low-key and Kim appreciates that,” the source said. “With her life not being completely chaotic, she is able to be more understanding and patient with Kanye. Kim seems more hopeful about their future together.”
I do think it’s interesting that Kanye is the one who is putting in the effort to make it work. Doesn’t it feel like that? Because if it was just up to Kim, she would probably be talking to divorce lawyers right now. Sigh… I wonder how long this phase will last.

her nose has been “too small” (IMO) for her face for some time now. the space between her nose and upper lip looks weird because she’s been whittling away at her nose for so long. add to that the YUUUUGGGGE lips and it makes it more noticeable. I know it’s not nice, but that look of small nose/flat space between/GIANT lips makes her look frog-like.
and I agree, I think that terrible hairstyle is making her face look longer and, therefore, her nose look smaller.
Honestly? I am so grateful w Kim coverage taking over the Groper in Chief. I subscribe to The Guardian (UK paper) and they are on a mission to make T-baby pay for his journalist-bullying madness. So my newsfeed everywhere is full of Groper in Chief stuff 😖I would have never thought I will ever say this but: thank you Kim for taking my mind off that crap!

My hair is just past my books and has a center part. It’s dark blonde and not ironed flat. Her black hair doesn’t look good that way. The part looks like a white stripe on top of her head

After all those surgeries on her nose, it would be a dereliction of duty on the part of her surgeons to have left a deviated septum. On the other hand it could be that her nose is too small to breathe through now.

That’s not even including the lip ring and the hair. The hair is egregious, and the fake lip ring is just… bad. Doesn’t fit her lips and it looks obviously fake. If you’re going to wear facial jewelry, anyway, I feel like the hair should be side-parted and tousled, unless she thinks grunge means “Mortcia Addams.”
And the saddest part is… it would have been so much better had she just worn a pair of jeans. Those pants are a crime against humanity

I absolutely do not think Kim faked the Paris robbery but I do think she had some work done during her hiatus-it definitely seems like she had the work on her backside reduced or reversed and I wonder how much of this “look” is to camoflauge that for now.

Cher in her day was tall and thin. It was the 70’s and long straight hair parted down the middle was the style of the day I am told. Cher’s hair was real. Kim has extensions that are swallowing up her five foot frame. a miss. Remove the lip ring, as that too, I am sure, is artificial. Can’t describe anything about Mrs. West without saying artificial…..and the beat goes on, my Cher tribute. (Not to seem too negative in these King Joffrey days, at least she’s covering up her lady parts, which is a welcome change).

Never been a fan of long hair well past your boobs. It drags your whole being down. Gets stuck in chairs, car seats etc. Upthread someone suggested a tousled side part. Tousle, trim a foot and it’d at least look 30% less ridic.
Lol. 20+ years ago as a teenager my hair was to my butt. It was also a pain to wash and brush and gave me neck aches. That was back in the early 90’s during the grunge era
@Embee Funny you should mention neck aches. I’ve had long hair most of my life, so I can relate. It wasn’t well into my adult years before I made the correlation that thick, heavy long hair = discomfort.
For example, all I ever want at a salon is to enjoy a nice shampoo and head massage—but, alas, that’s not in the cards for me. The shampoo and heavy water gets encased in my hair, weighing everything down, and forcing my neck to be pulled down into the heavy sink rest. Thus, causing pain in what, otherwise, should be an enjoyable salon experience. (It only took me 35yrs to put 2 and 2 together.) 🤔

After the extraordinary events of this weekend and how GREAT/KICK @SS CB has been at covering the fight against trumpism, do we have to go back to bashing women? I get people don’t like the Kardashians, WE GET IT! We are supposed to working on bring women’s issues to the forefront, feminism and all, but the first chance we get we have to dump on another woman, about her appearance no less. Could we just stop doing that? Celebrity gossip would still exist and remain fun.
She’s really trying hard now isn’t she? No one is paying attention to her especially with all this Trump stuff going on. She knows the only way to get attention is to put out some nude pics (even those don’t get the attention they used to). This family needs to stop. The paps must be happy she’s calling them again though. I recently saw a promo for the new season of their show and it’s all about Kim and the robbery and her sobbing. If she was so distraught why did she allow cameras to capture it? I trust nothing with this family.

I think this “grunge” look is better than her previous “grunge” look. That’s all I’ve got.
She looks awful. The fake lip ring is just plain stupid. The wig or extensions look ratty and don’t do anything for her, except accentuate how she’s messed up her face. Even natural, ultra-long hair can often look as bad as this – Crystal Gayle, anyone? My daughter had (natural) hair like this, and because she always wears it tied up, didn’t realise how ragged and tatty it had become, so she popped in to my best friend’s (a hairdresser) house yesterday and had almost 30cms chopped off. I remember seeing photos of KK with hair just past her shoulders. It was full, wavy, loose and tousled, with an off-centre part. Even with all the facial upgrades, that hairstyle made her look lovely, modern and sexy. I agree with the posters upthread – these clothes don’t go together and just don’t suit her “look”. She did get it right a couple of times in leggings, long-ish top and cute, comfortable shoes. Nice casual wear or floaty maxi dresses could make her look really good. She’s overkilled the sex bomb look, especially when she’s only going for a pap stroll to the shops. She needs to bury it. And put concrete on top.

I was on her Facebook page and it seems like she/they are doing a big effort to rebrand their entire life as a couple.
From the 1994 style pictures, the clothing, the faded denim – she’s trying to be more ‘serious’ and less bombshell.
She tried doing this years ago (before Kanye). She said she didn’t want to be seen as a “sex symbol” anymore but not long after that she posed nude again and again and again. She always goes back to the nudes…and she will again…just watch. Ughh.

From pictures published from Dubai, it certainly looks like she’s had a boob reduction or lift. They were considerable smaller and sitting way higher than before. Maybe she’s hiding it for now and will gradually reveal so we won’t know (!) she’s had some more work done.

I am always amazed at the hideous clothing she puts together for her pap stroll ensembles. You would think, just by the law of averages, that once in awhile she would come up with a winning look. But she never does. You have to really work hard to look so consistently awful.
