Miranda Kerr spent two years with billionaire Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel before they got married. Part of me feels like this was the plan and she was going to stick with it until she got the rings and walked down the aisle. Another part of me wants to be nice and believe in their love story. Whichever version you want to believe, it comes to the same conclusion: Miranda Kerr wants to get pregnant right away. Sources tell Life & Style that Miranda and Evan are “already trying.”
Miranda Kerr and her Snapchat CEO husband, Evan Spiegel, are ready to take the next step. An insider tells Life & Style that the pair is trying to have a baby. Miranda, 34, “would love nothing more than to be pregnant before the end of summer,” the insider tells Life & Style. “She and Evan have started trying already!”
In the meantime, Evan, 27, is getting lots of parenting practice with the Australian model’s 6-year- old son, Flynn (with ex-husband Orlando Bloom).
“Flynn absolutely adores Evan,” says the insider. “Evan is fantastic with him. He enjoys spoiling him with expensive toys and play dates in the park. Being a father comes naturally to him, and he can’t wait to have kids of his own with his new wife.”
Considering the couple’s genes, friends have high expectations for the new baby. “Everyone around Miranda and Evan,” the insider tells Life & Style, “jokes that they’ll make the perfect baby: good-looking and super smart!”
It would not surprise me at all if Evan Spiegel did make her sign a prenup, which is what was reported in the tabloids last year. Even though Miranda is a wealthy woman in her own right, she wants to make sure that… you know, she’s getting hers, just in case it all falls apart. Having a baby right away certainly helps. Of course, as I said, maybe this is 100% true love and they just want to have a baby right away because everything is perfect. Who knows??

I know that people have always criticized Kerr as being a gold digger. But I respect that she is a gold digger with a PLAN. She has kept to her plan over the years even when it didn’t work out (with James whats-his-name, the uber-rich Aussie). So yeah, I’m not surprised she is going for a baby right away. Don’t diss Miranda just because she’s got hustle. I imagine that a lot of models and otherwise beautiful women (and men) end up with nothing when they hit 35 because they didn’t have a plan and thought the party would never end. Kerr may not have gone to college but I think she is plenty smart.
I just don’t think that women endowed w supermodel beauty, who look for and find extremely wealthy husbands, have to be intelligent to do so. It’s an innate, fairly simple fact of life: exceptionally beautiful women know they can get extremely rich men, b/c many (most?) very wealthy men regard extraordinarily beautiful women as essential to their image–trophy girlfriends/wives–and as just plain desirable. It doesn’t take any special kind of brains or savvy “plan” for Miranda, at 34, to realize that her surest chance for getting set for life–financially—is to have her billionaire’s children as soon as possible, either before her window of fertility ebbs or before his interest in her,possibly, wanes as well. No, I wouldn’t call her smart, just another opportunist, well equipped with the “talent” for looking out for her own wealth and well being first and foremost. I’m not condemning her, but I most certainly can’t admire her for anything, either.
Not Miranda’s biggest fan (I consider her a golddigger) but what exactly is so weird about it? While 34 is not ancient, it’s simple science that fertility is starting to decrease and with Evan not having children yet, it makes totally sense to start trying. They are married – any doubts about whether they’ll be able to give the kid a stable family should have been settled once they decided to tie the knot, right?
That’s what I was thinking. While I’m sure she is into the money, it doesn’t make sense to wait a long time before kids if you are already in your 30s.
I’m surprised it didn’t happen in the two years they dated. Homegirl is clearly going for the longevity plan. I believe with billionaires like him, you have to be married for quite a number of years to get anything substantial if the marriage didn’t work. However, with a baby or kids involved, home girl will be twerking all the way to the bank for the next 18 years mimnum. And if they happened yo have drunk/angry/remorse sex during one of the weekend drop-offs, bam! baby number 2 y’all! This time she’ll be doing the dougie all the way to the bank.

Professional gold diggers know that a baby sets themselves and their biological children up for life. In some cases it pushes out of the way former children with an ex to obtain more inheritance among other things. Have seen this happen to friends and have read stories about this in the news before. Nothing surprising here. If not one may end up like Alan Thicke’s gold digging widow Tanya Callau who is taking his children to court over what he left for her in his will. She is now saying that they were trying to have a baby as if it matters now. Lol.

But I read an interesting article recently about quite wealthy and successful guys in their 30s in the US that get vasectomies. To avoid gold diggers getting pregnant. And they – the men – to be able to enjoy one night stands and other interactions as such.
Yup. Some model watch sites have been calling this for months as Miranda has gained quite a bit of weight since her and Evan started dating. No shade- she’s obviously nowhere near overweight- you see a lot of models (e.g., Behati Prinsloo, Doutzen Kroes) go from underweight to low-normal BMI when they’re trying to conceive.

I’ve already commented on this but again: I fail to understand this reasoning. I don’t doubt she’s into his money. But even if she wasn’t – let’s say normal 34 year old married to a 26 years old – she has just one kid, he doesn’t have any. It would totally make sense to try soon.
