I’m not even going to pretend this post has a point other than to openly salivate over Steve Carrel’s new look. It’s not really a new look, it’s just a more matured look, replete with silver hair. Steve is out and about promoting the latest installment of the Despicable Me franchise, Despicable Me 3. The movie does not interest me… or it didn’t, until now. I couldn’t sleep and was on my phone when I came across headlines about Steve looking good. I kind of go for that clean-cut, preppy thing and I’m wildly attracted to a sense of humor so really, I’ve always found Steve appealing. But I was not prepared for these – OMG! Like a single-malt scotch, he’s just getting better and smoother with age (I was going to include ‘richer’ but I don’t want to appear shallow). Like me, the internet did not miss the fact that silver-fox Steve could peel the paint off a wall:

Now add ^^ that(!) to the fact that he’s been a devoted husband to Nancy for 22 years and a doting dad to his two kids.
Steve, of course, caught wind of the world’s collective swooning and responded in typical Steve fashion, “I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes. It’s just genetic. There’s nothing I can do.” In a more serious addendum he said “I’m bursting with pride. That’s very nice.” Like I said, I don’t really have anything else to add news-wise. When you google Steve currently, pretty much every hit is “Holy crap, Steve Carrell is hot!” so let’s just lean in to that, shall we? Because Steve seems like a nice guy and I don’t think I have ever heard a diva story about him so I couldn’t be happier that the nice guy is now a full-fledged heart-throb. Seriously, I keep clicking back on these shots and my breath catches every.single.time.
Steve and Kristen Wiig appeared on Graham Norton to promote the movie as well. To make sure Steve’s head didn’t get too big over his new status, Graham took him down a notch with a photo of Steve at 20 sporting a porn-stache:

I’ve been finding Steve really attractive for the past couple years. Prior to that I always loved him, but never found him particularly hot.

There’s only one silver fox on screen and that is Mark Harmon :D. Sorry, Steve never did it for me. The only one of his movies that I liked was Evan Almighty.

I love Steve in anything. I love people who are kind and funny and thoughtful. Michael Scott is one of my favorite people on television- ever. And I love Silver Fox Steve. That said, anyone else think he looks like Ellen? I think it may be the shirt and sweater with sneakers combo. Maybe the smile a little bit too. I don’t know. He looks like Ellen to me.

Always thought he was cute but he does look hot with the silver hair. (wish people would say that about women when they go gray!) He looks like he lost a little weight or got a tan and the hot couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. love him.
I’m racking my brains to think of a comparable actress who’s completely gray in the 50-55 age bracket who’s toplining a new/recent film (Jamie Lee Curtis is one, but she’s not headlining anything at the moment, more’s the pity).

@LALU-his wife Nancy also played the therapist in the birth control support(?) group in “The 40 Year Old Virgin” one of the funniest scenes in the movie. The questions he was asking her (“Is it true that if you don’t use it, you lose it?”) and her expressions were priceless. They seem like a really nice, loving and fun couple.

Other than the first season of The Office when his hair plugs were growing in Steve has always been ridiculously handsome. This haircut is fantastic on him.
