Does anyone else consistently forget that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher named their baby son Dmitri? The baby is only 11 months old! I keep forgetting that A) Mila had a second baby and B) that they named the baby Dmitri, which doesn’t “go” with their daughter’s name, Wyatt, at all. Anyway, even though Mila and Ashton have been together for years now, and even though they’re married with two young children, we still don’t see much of them on the red carpet together. To be fair, they don’t completely avoid being photographed together – they don’t make it into a “thing” like some couples. They just rarely walk carpets together. So this was a rare occasion – they attended the Breakthrough Prize Awards at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California over the weekend. The awards celebrate the best scientific work of the year, and it’s become an event which many celebrities attend.
Mila wore this Dolce & Gabbana dress to the event, which is the reason why I’m covering this. Does anyone else remember Mila, several years back, when she was killing it on every red carpet? It was around the time she was promoting Black Swan, and her style was pretty amazing throughout that whole tour and awards season. It feels like Ashton and marriage has not been great for her style. Like, I get the idea of this dress, and I’m not opposed to a bustier top with a full-skirted floral bottom. But the reality is that she looks both boobs are wearing tiny little bibs. This would have looked much cuter if the entire thing had been either all-floral or all-black. I hate how the mis-matched/contrasted fabrics look is so “in” these days.
Something nice: they look very happy together. This was probably their “date night.”

The bottom should have had some black in it to compliment the top. The print is pretty but doesn’t go with the bustier. It’s not a great look but really not that bad. What’s the problem with Ashton? He seems like a good husband and dad and they look very happy together.

When I first heard they named their son Dimitr, I thought it was weird bc it sounded so close to Demi.
I think she just wanted a Russian name…since she is an immigrant from Russia. And Dmitri might be a family name.
Her family is from the Ukraine. Not Russia.
Ew. It’s like she thought “I’m pretty, I can just take this sofa cushion and these curtains and make something.”

This is unflattering on every level. The black doesn’t go with the granny sofa print and the bodice is so unflattering on the boobs.
Makes her look short and dumpy.
Oh, and the makeup washes her out.

THIS. So many high end designers don’t care about making pretty, quality products these days. It’s like they gave up 5-7 years ago.
I dislike the hair style, but I have to give he credit for wearing a bustier/corset a mere 11 months post-partum. After two pregnancies myself, you couldn’t pay me to squeeze into a bustier.
Remember she has the money to afford a chef, personal trainer, plastic surgeon, stylist, yoga guru and her *job* is to look good. I’m guessing if you were paid millions to stay in shape and have access to all the above you would force yourself to do it. Just like non-morning people force themselves to work or new Moms force themselves to leave their children at home or daycare to make a living.
I hate her makeup but actually like the outfit 🙂
Probably true 😉 Losing weight is not the easiest, but my problem is my ribs and ab muscles… they have separated beyond the point of return.

I like the way they casually fly under the radar as a famous married couple with kids.
She looks beautiful and happy. She also looks more like (imagine) Demi Moore’s daughter , then Demi’s own daughter do. Really makes me wonder if Ashton was originally attracted to Demi as a proxy for Mila.
I think a pink or green bustier to match the bottom would have been lovely. I would dona soft pink. 😊

The dress is not that great, but after having two babies, she looks fantastic. Dmitri may not go well with Wyatt, but she is Russian so perhaps that name means something to her family.
Not being a know all but she’s actually Ukrainian. While Russia would like Ukraine to be part of it, it isn’t.

The dress isn’t my cup of tea but I also have gotten the feeling over the last few years and having the kids and such that the red carpet really isn’t something she’s totally into. She seems like she is mostly laid back and casual so I can’t fault her for picking something so unflattering. She probably would much rather be alone with her hubby or home with her kids.
She looks fresh, pretty and fit. I’m not sure why the complaints!

I’m over the whole bustier thing. That dress is a throw back to the 80’s. Bustier; total 80’s. The skirt print, I had a dress with that same print in the 80’s. It had huge shoulder pads. I loved that dress.
I do like that skirt, maybe if the bustier wasn’t see-through it wouldn’t annoy me so much.
Not feeling dress or hairstyle and I wouldn’t say they look overly happy. She looks pensive. Like she’s thinking of dumping his @ss. Or maybe I’m projecting.

He’s a total douche. He treated Demi like total crap and his ‘tech guy’ ‘big time investor’ rep is based on connections he made through HER. But he does seem to have settled in with Mila and they seem happy.
I would love it with a solid black instead of sheer. And different shoes. She is so beautiful.

They look great together, I like them both, separately and together, Ashton has matured completely into his role as a husband and father, I’m liking him again and she is absolutely beautiful.
