I can’t find who originally reported this story, which might mean it’s just the product of whispery, crazy, let’s-throw-it-against-the-wall-and-see-if-sticks tabloids, but here we go. Allegedly, Brad Pitt and Robert Pattinson met up in Cannes, and Pattz asked for Brad’s advice on love. Brad apparently advised Pattz to keep his relationship with Kristen Stewart as quiet and private as possible, and then recommended the Waldorf-Astoria for private trysts while in New York. A source told somebody, at some point, “Brad suggested the Waldorf-Astoria because it is very private.” The Waldorf is a favorite of both Brad and Angelina – they’ve stayed there several times over the past few years. Perhaps Brad knew what Pattz was in for in New York, with all of thestalking, swarming and attacking from the Twihards.

Over at Hollyscoop, sources are now confirming that Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are dating, and have been dating for a while. A source says that although Kristen’s boyfriend was very much in the picture, Pattinson “made sure she knew he was crazy about her.” Part of the reason they’ve kept their relationship so quiet is because they’re both being stalked by paparazzi and Twihards. So perhaps a tryst at the Waldorf-Astoria is in order:

While there’s been reports arguing both sides, Hollyscoop can confirm that the pair are definitely an item.

A source close to the couple confirms to Hollyscoop, “Rob and Kristen are definitely together!”

The source added, “Rob has been crazy about Kristen since they first started filming Twilight. Even though Kristen had a boyfriend at the time, Rob made sure she knew he was crazy about her.”

While rumors of an on set romance had been lingering for months, they were at an all time high when Kristen and Rob were shooting New Moon in Montepulciano, Italy.

They would enjoy romantic dinners together after shooting would wrap up and reportedly wouldn’t stop kissing even after the director called “cut.”

Our source also confirms that the couple has been dating for a few months now, but is trying their best to keep their relationship under wraps.

“Kristen and Rob have been dating for a while, but they have been very hush, hush,” says our source.

“Right now is a crazy time for Kristen and Rob, they can’t go anywhere because the paparazzi follow them. They can’t even leave they house because it’s swarmed with paparazzi.”

Just yesterday Rob Pattinson had a tough first day on the set of his new film Remember Me. Hundreds of fans and photogs gathered around the New York City set causing a ruckus.

So can we expect a public outing from the couple anytime soon? Probably not. But that isn’t going to stop us for keeping a close eye on them. And their steamy New Moon scenes!

Well, if Robert and Kristen have been going out for a while, then I guess we misread all of that photo evidence we thought pointed to Pattinson being hard-up for Kristen, who was a big tease. So my new theory is that yes, they have been going out, and that Kristen has Pattinson wrapped around her little finger. Same photo evidence, different conclusion. All I know is that when Pattinson looks at Kristen, he has the same lovesick puppy-dog eyes as my dog. Seriously, I’ll wake up and find my dog standing beside the bed, looking at me with this heartbreaking sweetness. I think I’m going to rename my dog Pattz.
