Project Runway may be over because of Harvey Weinstein (who was one of the executive producers). I canceled PR in my head about six years ago! [Jezebel]

Recap of Real Housewives of New York. [Reality Tea]
Stopped watching Project Runway a few years back. Not sure why? I still enjoyed the show. But now I’m getting ready for the return of Trading Spaces. I wanted so much to be on that show. I want them to do my Kitchen.
I’d like to see a Trading Spaces where they go back 2 years later to see what all fell apart.
Ha, try two months later, not two years!
Loved Trading Spaces. I’d love them to do my house, unless it was Hildie – then it would be a hard pass. Vern was always my favorite.
LOL.. I know; Hildie was always hit or miss. and Scary. I loved Vern too. And Laurie/Genevieve. Frank sometimes. I just don’t do Country cute. Can’t wait to watch.
I stopped watching when Gretchen won, lol.
LOVED TS!!! CAN’T WAIT for it to return. HATE Hildy (and Doug) most of the time lol. I’ve been watching the “catch-ups”can’t wait for the reboot. Paige Davis is just TOO cute lol. That smile is contagious 😊
It’s produced by the Weinstein Company. Everything Weinstein is going under.
Omg, I never thought of that! Well, every damn year until this past season I watched it like a required religious observance, but this past season I never even watched one episode. The whole season is still recorded and unwatched on my DVR, but I haven’t bothered. For one thing, there are FIFTY-FIVE “episodes” recorded because they now offer all kinds of 5-minute shorts, 10-minute highlights not yet seen, and some outtakes or something…for EACH FREAKING EPISODE. I just didn’t want to wade through all that crap this time — pain in the ass.
But yeah, if it was Harvey’s (that explains the perennial presence of Georgina Chapman, getting exposure for her overworked, glitzy gowns) then glad it’s gone. Don’t let the door hit ya in the ass, Harvey.
It’s amazing that it’s aired this long, and I’m thrilled Heidi and Tim (!) have an Emmy. However, the ratings for “PR” and “PR: All Stars” are still strong on a competitive night (I don’t know about “PR: Junior”), so I imagine it would not have a problem finding a new home. It’s big business. (I just bought some cups branded with the “PR” logo, for Pete’s sake, so I guess it was a design challenge at some point?)
We’ve been watching older seasons on Hulu. I got my 13yo a PR Brother sewing machine for xmas and she loooooves it.
I just finished reading The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Hadish. A quick read and very funny. She’s worked her buff of to get where she is, I wish her nothing but the best. Love her.
I love her. She is a true Hollywood success story. Not someone riding on their parents’ names. She didn’t have “connections”. Her success is hard earned. And I like that she is enjoying it. I will have to get The Last Black Unicorn.
I hope it isn’t true!!! Project Runway is still so good all these years!!!
I love it. Mostly I love Tim Gunn, but I can marathon that show for hourrsss.
No please no. So great to watch a reality show where people with some talent produce something rather than sit around, get drunk and pretend feud. And Tim Gunn is the best. I even love Heidi. Watching the finals of PR- All Stars tonight!
Tim should get his own show. A man that wonderful should always be on television.
He should do Red carpet events also. So sick of the people that do it now. I love Tim. So classy and Old Hollywood Cool
He had a show way back in 2007–Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style. It was like What Not To Wear. Tim was great in it (as usual) and the co-host was okay but the majority of the “makeoverees” were horrid. The most stereotypical entitled upper Manhattan women you’d never want to deal with and the clothing prices were beyond what the average person could afford. I was really disappointed because I’ve read interviews and advice columns with/by Tim and he understands that most people need to dress on a budget so I think it was a production decision and not his actual choice to go in that direction.
Please do a post on a killing eve! The show premiering soon on BBC starring Sandra Oh. It got picked up for a season two without the premiering apparently it’s amazing
It’s very good. I watched episode 1 in BBCA. New episodes every Sunday night.
I love Project Runway, this makes me very sad.
Me, too. Can’t do Junior, but the original and All-Stars are must-watch tv for me. Forever and always!
I started watching PR a few years ago when my mom moved in with me (she was a fan) and I like it a lot! I love to watch creative people create.
And on a superficial note: Fabio and Edmond- ooh la la!!
I love Tim Gunn, I agree he should be doing red carpet shows.
I had no idea PR was still going, I dislike Heidi.
For some reason I started watching again for the sixteenth season. I really enjoyed it. This news makes me sad.
