Ellen DeGeneres loves to scare people. Sometimes the “scare” videos are amazing and funny, but others are not that great. At this point, I actually feel sorry for Eric Stonestreet because Ellen has scared the sh-t out of him so many times. Other people are good sports about it: Taylor Swift’s scare video is a classic, and I end up enjoying a lot of men who get scared, just in general, I think. The women tend to under-react. Anyway, Benedict Cumberbatch stopped by The Ellen Show and she scared him with a dude dressed as Iron Man.
If you just want to see the “scare,” skip ahead to about the three-minute mark for a proper build-up. As soon as Ellen starts asking him about horror movies and being scared, he should have known! That’s her M.O. He also should have known as soon as he saw that the side table was completely devoid of clutter.
Did he know it was coming? I don’t think he did. But as I said, he should have! All the clues were there.
Bendy also played Operation with Ellen. His hands are pretty steady and I could watch him half-dancing to “Pony” all day.

Ok the operation game video was super cute
Such a British response. Love it
He didn’t know, he turned red and he’s breathing heavy after LOL. Cute!
Love him! I feel like the scaring thing is rude, though.
That scare jump saved a really crappy interview! It was hilarious and I believed he was honestly scared. It was cute 🙂
