Most people won’t remember this, but in 2012 and 2013, there were a lot of rumors there Charlize Theron and Alexander Skarsgard were possibly hooking up – or even dating – on the downlow. There were never any photos of them together and they never even walked a red carpet together, but sources all around the world insisted that they were quietly happening. Reportedly, Alex even visited Charlize on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road while she was filming in Namibia. I still don’t know if all of that was just a fever dream cooked up by coked up tabloid writers or what. But it looks like we’re going to get another round of it:
In the forthcoming political comedy “Flarsky,” Charlize Theron plays Seth Rogen’s dream girl. But a new report from Life&Style claims their co-star, Alexander Skarsgard, is the one pursuing Charlize in real-life — and if the tab’s claims are true, Charlize is all about it.
The mag’s source says the two have been “flirting on set” in a follow-up to their rumored 2012 relationship. “They’re keeping it as private as they can, but it’s hard to hide. They are both thrilled that this romance is back on,” says the Life&Style insider. “Charlize is a woman who knows what she wants and just goes for it. She did it with Alexander back then, and now she’s done it again.”
“Charlize cusses and has a wicked sense of humor, which he loves,” the source adds. “Alexander is a serious guy, a deep thinker, and she loves that. He’s well-read, loves the classics and is a movie buff just like her.” Charlize has been single since she and Sean Penn called it quits in 2015, according to the Daily Mail. Alex and Alexa Chung split last summer.
I’m not really “into” this couple aesthetically, for what it’s worth. I like it when a boyfriend and girlfriend look really different physically. Charlize and Alex just look too much alike – two blonde giants with praying mantis limbs. Don’t get me wrong, I find both of them attractive – he’s the Viking and she’s the beautiful ice queen. But not together. Plus, I feel like Alex is still in the middle of something with Alexa Chung? Also: Gossip Cop said this was BS, but they also pointed out that filming on Flarsky ended in January, so it’s not like Charlize and Alex are currently working together. Huh.

I would too. They would be hot together. And itsn’t it better to see her with hot and decent guy like alex rather with crispy bacon? I however, lost it a “deep thinker”. Really? who ever speaks like that. Other than some die hard Viking fan, which makes me question this entire story.
Maybe Brad Pitt’s publicist took a side job?
He only filmed a cameo for that Flarsky movie for one or two days back in January, and they haven’t been in the same place since. He got back with Alexa for a few months, but that’s over again.

As of at least March, he and Alexa were back on. They vacationed together in January, Alexa’s friends posted plenty of pics and videos on SM where he was obviously trying to not be in the shot. Funny as hell seeing a 6’4 giant trying to hide behind other people and furniture etc, when she and her people were so eager to try to get pics of them back on. She also quit smoking around that time as well. Part of me wondered if Alexander’s younger sister getting engaged made him think about what he’s doing in his personal life and Alexa popped back up and tried to make it seem like she wanted to be serious and stop partying and start family planning. I stopped paying close attention after that, but wow that seemed fast. I’m a Skarsgård fan (all of them-from Alex to Valter) and I can’t help but notice Alex has seemed a bit different lately. Over the winter holidays his friends and family posted some pics of get togethers and in each one he looked kind of sad. I found it odd after he had had such a stellar year, career wise. If Charlize can put a smile on his face though, I’m for it.

Dear Lord… Bill and Alida are together nonstop – they’re clearly happy and very much together. This whole “she trapped him” narrative is so boring.
Oh I don’t think that at all. I just think it’s pretty gross that he’s having a kid with his brother’s best friend’s ex-fiancee.

But I’m 99% sure it’s BS, as they haven’t actually been spotted together, and only worked together briefly back in January, so I’m thinking someone saw the cast list, and made up this story based on the past rumors.

Unlike Kaiser, I prefer to see couples who have similar or complementary physical characteristics. Nothing looks worse to me than seeing some tall slim guy walking with a short round woman whose head is barely above his belt buckle. That looks unpleasantly strange to me.
Dancing looks pretty odd too, with her head squashed against his torso.
Meh.
I wish people would look past that superficial stuff in general.
taxi, so a person’s love needs to be reserved for someone who is physically similar as a “mismatch” doesn’t fit your aesthetic ? Dancing together is a sign of a couple’s enjoyment of each other; it shouldn’t be a target for ridicule based on immature superficial standards of physical compatibility.
