Most parents go a little batty the first year because they get to celebrate all this stuff they didn’t before. The most obvious are Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Father’s Day in the US was last Sunday and new dads across the country received their very first FD cards. One such dad was actor John Stamos. John’s son, Billy, was born in April. John had mentioned throughout the years that he very much wanted kids of his own. Now that that dream has been fulfilled, he can’t help but gush about it. And who can blame him? For his first Father’s Day, John posted this photo with Billy along with a tender caption about how much that moment meant to him:
Not knowing John beyond just being perpetually handsome and occasionally charming, the emotion in his caption surprised me. There’s nothing wrong with it, I’m just more accustomed to a wise-cracking John Stamos. However, I think the death of his parents and the fact that they were not able to see him become a father weighs heavily on him. Billy is named after John’s father, who died in 1989.
Little Billy is cute. I love how John’s photo-perfect smolder is contrasted with Billy’s “Who Dat?” expression. Billy looks like he has his dad’s lips. I’m terrible at identifying traits so I won’t speculate any further. This is the first ‘full-face’ shot we’ve gotten of Billy. John and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, usually post photos with Billy’s face carefully obscured. Caitlin, by the way, posted a similar shot of John on Father’s Day with the caption:
Happy 1st Father’s Day to the best new daddy! I knew you’d be a great father, but you’ve exceeded expectations. You change diapers! Lol, and so much more, of course. We love you most ❤️
I’m glad to know Stamos is sharing the parental duties, we know not all dads do. The couple, who already want to add to their brood, have another collaboration, – the Share the Love St. Amos bracelet. Stamos says it’s a way to tell someone, “‘Hey, I’m thinking about you’ or ‘you’re a valuable person to this world’.” They’re cute bracelets but more importantly, any proceeds benefit ChildHelp USA, which fights child abuse.

So cute! ^^ always nice to see a new happy family!
It’s always nice to see a reputed horn dog wise up and become a family man. Let’s hope it sticks. I did really like his comments, they seem genuine. Congratulations to the happy family!
his comments are really touching. Love the pics.
Happy for him. Jealous that some of us women can’t do this biological thing for as many years.
That’s a really sweet caption. I’m happy for him. I bet he’s a great dad.
Precious!
I think he’s waited a long time to be a dad and he will appreciate it more. What’s the saying? You appreciate things if you have to work hard for it or it wasn’t easily attainable? Anyway all the best to the family.
He is gorgeous as is his baby boy and wife ❤
Lovely!
