It just goes to show you, people still have strong feelings about the Kardashians. Most of those strong feelings are negative, but still. Many people yelled at me for saying I was “Team Kim” in the particular conflict that seems to be roiling the Kardashian sisters during this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The three sisters had a major blowout which involved Kourtney being a lazy, mean a–hole and Kim telling Kourtney that she’s “the least interesting one to look at.” I think the crux of the sister-drama is that Kourtney doesn’t do much, she’s doesn’t “pull her weight” as a member of the clan, and instead of doing the bare minimum, she sits back and snipes at Khloe and Kim. Well, in Sunday night’s episode, the sisters go into sister-therapy and apparently the root of the problem is that Kourtney has a new therapist and she’s been different ever since.

“Kourtney’s got a new boyfriend and a new therapist and I don’t know which one’s the problem, but she’s a different human being,” said Kim, 37, referring to Kourtney’s recent ex Younes Bendjima. “She’s so nasty to us.” Khloé, 34, and Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick, 35, also raised their concerns about Kourtney’s new therapist — “If you’re watching, we hate you,” quipped Kim at one point — before the three sisters finally sat down to try to hash things out.

Kim suggested they see a therapist together, but Kourtney, 39, shot the idea down before falling silent, interrupting the conversation to edit a photo on her phone. The move infuriated both Khloé and Kim, who stormed out of the room.

“If you don’t care to fix relationships with your sisters, I can’t force you to,” said Khloé. Kourtney broke down into tears, explaining that she felt like they didn’t have her back. “They don’t take my feelings into consideration,” she said. “I don’t even want to be around my sisters because it just gives me anxiety.”

Kim and Khloé, meanwhile, felt that the main issue was Kourtney being unable to “handle any sort of responsibility.”

“Listen, there’s two new things in her life: boyfriend, and then her therapist,” Khloé told momager Kris Jenner. “Ever since then she’s been a raging bitch and instead of her owning it, she takes it out on everyone else. It’s so rude. It’s not how you raised any of us. We’ve said it in so many different ways. She’s so not engaged and I think that’s what infuriates everyone.”

Kourtney eventually agrees to see a family therapist with her sisters and they all have it out. Basically it became about how Kourtney Has Feelings, that her sisters “gave her anxiety” and were always so “mean” to her and she thinks they never seem “genuinely” happy for her. To quote from one of my favorite movies, Working Girl, “Who the f–k died and made you Grace Kelly?” Kim and Khloe countered back with understanding that Kourtney is going through something and that she’s got other interests beyond the family, but that’s no reason to skip out on work commitments. You get the idea.

Basically, I know all of this is “fake” and yet… there’s something down at the root of it which is true. Kourtney is the least interesting one. She’s the one who does the least as far as the show/brand is concerned. She doesn’t want to be part of it anymore, but she still wants to get paid and be famous and all of that. And she wants to act like she’s “above it all” now. Just fire her from the show.
