From her little black Gucci dress days as Posh Spice to her own fashion label, Victoria Beckham has been making fashion headlines – both good and bad. Hey, everyone has their style missteps. I went through a platform sneaker and JNCO-esque jeans phase back in the 90s (thank God there’s no photographic evidence of this), but being in the public eye as much as Victoria has, there’s bound to be some “I can’t believe I wore that” moments.
Victoria, who recently debuted her spring/summer ’10 collection at London Fashion Week, talked to Grazia about her style evolution. She admitted that, “I never look back and cringe at anything.” She added that, “It’s been a journey and everything has bought me to where I am now. You know, I think it’s about keeping it quite simple, being true to who I am, and being comfortable.”
To be honest, I don’t think Victoria has had many cringeworthy fashion moments and I do like her own designs, even the pajama chic she debuted last year (although I think they should have been hemmed differently). Victoria’s husband, David, did recall one big fail, recalling an unfortunate event where the couple wore matching all leather Versace ensembles back in 1999. Of that fateful day, he said, “that’s one when I look back and am like, ‘What were we thinking?'”
The posh one told the magazine that being her own boss gives her plenty of time to spend with her equally stylish kids. She said, “The kids are always going to be my priority – the kids come first. Nine times out of ten I do the school run. I’m lucky that I’m the boss, so I can do that.”
As I mentioned before, the boss lady debuted her spring/summer ’19 collection for the first time as part of London Fashion Week on September 17. During the runway show, which was held at a gallery next door to her Dover Street store, she debuted slim V-shape split trousers, knit dresses and oversized jackets. Victoria wore a gold embroidered pair of her new V-split pants to the after party at Mark’s Club in Mayfair, where she launched into an impromptu rendition of “Spice Up Your Life.”
I have always been a fan of Victoria the Spice Girl and Victoria the designer and, if I had the money, I’d probably have many of her pieces in my closet. With the exception of just a few looks, I think she’s brought us lots of FASHION.

Wow, they’ve really been together a LONG ass time, haven’t they?
She must have gotten those awful breast implants removed, good for her. Looks much better without them
She had them removed years ago. Before Harper was born. She talked about it.
Victoria has had more fashion misses, than hits.
It’s a good thing she stuck to ‘short black dress’ as a Spice Girl; cause outside of it her style was head representative of the ‘chav’ look & tacky WAG movement.
Maybe in the 90’s and early 00’s – although what she wore then was trendy and was what everyone esle was wearing at the time. But for the last near decade or so? She has evolved quite a bit and her style is generally on point. I rarely ever look at her and think “what was she thinking?”. I usually want if not all at least some of what she is wearing in my wardrobe. If I had the money I would definitely buy her designs.
Good for her for not looking back and feeling bad about her choices. But some of those outfits…oh man.
He looks worse than she does in the flashback pix lol. I really like the giraffe-patterned dress with the large belt!
She wore the trends and found her style. That said, the Gucci little black dress will always be her most amazing fashion moment.
I don’t have the best fashion sense but except for the leather disaster none of her outfits in these pictures scream fashion faux pas to me.
If those blue pants in the top photo are her new v split pants, I need them.
I like the idea, but I find them just a bit too long! I’d be tripping all over myself
She always just wore what was in fashion at the time… So if she failed ERRBODY failed. We just don’t have the photos
That chartreuse dress is GORGEOUS!!
Man you forget how absolutely scary skinny she was back in the day. She’s super thin now but that pink and white outfit is horrific.
In the header picture she looked looks gorgeous with a real smile. She’s definitely evolved fashion wise thatsfor sure those extensions and fake boobs were horrendous!
