Recently, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi made their red carpet couple debut. They attended a huge celebrity-filled fundraiser for the National Portrait Gallery, they came together, left holding hands and they posed together in the event. Beatrice wants us to know that she and Edoardo are serious and that it’s going places. So of course we’re getting a round of “engagement rumors.”
Princess Beatrice’s loved up appearance with controversial boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at a red carpet bash this week suggests an engagement may soon be on the cards, senior royal sources have told MailOnline. Many in palace circles are tipping a wedding announcement before Christmas ahead of a Spring wedding.
Beatrice, daughter of The Duke and the Duchess of York, and her beau were guests of Philippe Ghanem and Sabine Getty, a socialite and Swiss jewellery designer, at the National Portrait Gallery event. Throughout the night the couple were in an animated mood as they mingled with stars such as David and Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Liam Payne.
One insider told the MailOnline. ‘It was all very sweet to see. They are clearly very much in love with each other and Beatrice seems smitten. The fact that they sat looking gooey eyed at each other and cuddled most of the evening has raised expectations that an engagement is near.’
Beatrice, currently eighth in line to throne, and Edoardo, a divorcé and father to a two-year-old son, are said to be ‘totally head-over-heels in love and now happy for everyone to see it’ said a royal source. The inside source confirmed: ‘Nothing the royals do happens by accident. With such senior members of the family such as the Duchess of Cambridge and the Earl of Snowdon present, Beatrice was well aware they knew that their show of love and togetherness would draw a great deal of attention. It is fair to say that the relationship is now on a solid footage and they are now more than happy to be seen together than before. Their love has blossomed.’
Whoa, I didn’t know Edoardo is divorced and a father already. Year, well the Windsors will have something to say about that, although who knows… it could be that the senior royals just want to “marry off” Beatrice to anyone. I know that’s terrible to say, but the vibes around Beatrice are that she was a sad sack who wasted a decade on a guy who refused to marry her. If Edoardo is keen to marry her, then maybe the Windsors will give him the go-ahead. Also: we’re already hearing about how Edoardo is terribly rich – the DM calls him a “multi-millionaire property magnate.” Hm… but they’ve only been dating six months, tops. Will the Windsors let her get engaged so soon? Or will they make her wait?

They were family friends before this for a long time and we dont know they are actually getting marriage the press started about marriage when the couple was only rumored to be together. I’d say they might marry between 2-3 years of marriage, thugh they might surprise us

Prince Andrew, Beatrice’s father, is/was friends with the pe_do Ep_St_ein and Fergie once tried to sell access to Prince Andrew to some fake sheik(?). Fergie’s and Andrew’s former country mansion (sunni_nghill ?) was sold way over value to some shady north-east-asian o_il millionaire (there was some front buyer company and behind that was allegedly ka_za_kh oligarch t_imur kuli_bayev).

Eugenie works in an auction house and not saying that her employer is sketchy but it seems more a general issue with these kinds of businesses. Searching for shady business and money laundering and stolen art and auction house reveals some interesting articles via google.
Beatrice wanted to become somebody in finance and was handed a golden opportunity and left that opportunity after a few weeks. One of her former boyfriends had connections to dubious business people. Her other well-known long-term boyfriend allegedly had a job and I never understood what he was actually doing except holiday-ing.
@hanna Are you implying for someone to be interested in Beatrice have to be a horrible person or have bad intentions? Tell me, what’s so sketchy about Edo other than having a hunch? Because I don’t Think having an ex as a ‘baby mama’ is sketchy, happens to a lot of people now days. There is nothing scandulous to his name other than an ex ‘babby mama’. Edo and Dara are good coparents he has main physical custudy and Dara visits when she is in town. She travels a lot for her job.
Beatrice recent job was backed by Sandbridge Capital, one of her former internships, and first job in NY. Before Ny she always had internships as in the jobs before were always temporary as they were internships. Not to mention her info at Sony got compermised so she left. Ater being backed by Sandbridge Capital , she partnered with Afiniti and became Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy. People change their mind about careers, not uncommon. She seems to like her company and is comfortable, its also helps that Afiniti supports her philanthropic endevears. It just took her awhile to find her way, but happens to everyone. She’s been there the past two years. She actually has given indepth interview as to why she took the job at Afiniti and why she spearheads Afiniti’s program to engage senior business chiefs around the world to support women in leadership, judging by that interview she will be with that company for awhile.

I would also like to point out Edo is a self made millionaire, who comes from Italain nobility, though I dont know what thinks of his hertiage as his biological father and him are not close. Edo claims to not even knowhis bio dad, and considered his stepdad hs real father

Well, true, she must likely had some bitterness judging by the articles. Merely speculation on my part, But I think recently Dara might be headed towards better terms least towards her ex , for now she stopped talking to the press, hopefully she completely stopped, etc . She even wrote on her instgram about ‘forgiving people’ on New Year’s day Hence why there is no new articles on her behalf, I mean she probably was bitter but she’s trying it seems. All I know is they have a good custody arrangement. Edo has physical custody and when Dara is in town she tucks her son in, etc

I like Dara despite her lapse in judgement when it came to the press and selling those pictures and stories, it didn’t sit well with me, but she seems decent and she has built her company and does a lot of buissness in ChinaBoth her and Edo are well off/
Her parents definitely talked but did she sell actual pics? Her IG has a lot of photos, including ones with her son. Her IG enlightened me to the fact to be a successful, high-flying architect you need to post a lot of coquettish pics of yourself in micromini skirts. Actually there is a huge difference. Bea gets no RPOs. Charles already said they’re cut out of royal work and once he’s king, she probably won’t even get a balcony wave with the “streamlined” monarchy.
I don’t get why people are so upset about divorce. Charles was divorced and married a divorcee and he’s next. Pearl clutchers be damned. But yes, it should be the same “scorn” from these people if not more because of the young baby, but i agree i somehow doubt it.

I feel like this has been a low-key “scandal” for a while, right? I didn’t think he was divorced, but engaged to the mother of his child before hooking up with Bea. I know the Daily Mail is now saying divorcee, but I swear they were engaged, not married. Some say no over lap, but ex-fiancé’s dad came out and basically called them both home wreckers. And their families have been long time friends, so even if they have only been dating 6 months, they’ve known each other for a long time (I think the Yorks even sent him baby gifts for his son!).

The seem to be co parenting fine he has main physical custody while Dara travels for her work. When she’s in town she comes home in the evenings and tucks in her son and she stopped talking to the tabloids so I think things are going good
I hope she takes her time and that he’s not using her. Beatrice seems like a really sweet person. I’ve never heard a bad report about her. I know how hard it can be when your closest friends and family are all either in relationships or married, and you’re still single.
I agree, she’s always been thoughtful and well spoken in interviews. And she seemed so nervous/excited to debut him, it was sweet. I really hope he’s the real deal for her and they get a happily ever after.
Forgive me, but this reads like someone who wants a wedding and not a marriage.

Better be a happy single than some unfullfilling over-compromising marriage with some dude you would rather not have married retrospectively.
I’m trying girl, I just dont like it when people dont seem to know facts and rather just go with rumors that articles form the DM started that his ex did when she was hurt. Bea is 30 and he is 38, I think they would know what they would want out of relationships. I give them 2 years maybe untill they go to the alter, but who knows

I wondered, in the other post about their relationship debut, whether he has too much baggage for Beatrice. She’s only had one serious adult relationship previosly. She’s not a child but this man appears to have had some complicated life decisions that would impact Beatrice too– most importantly a young child. Is she ready for that ?
I’m sure they will take thier time considering thier circumstances I give the m 2-3 years before they walk down they asile though they might surprise us , its not like they dont know each other been family friends for a long time
