I have always thought of “High School Musical” star Zac Efron as little more than a panty-waste with pretty hair, but at least he does his own stunts. The former Disney tween heartthrob is featured in a new video clip bungee-jumping off a bridge for his new movie, “The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud.” Efron doesn’t look the least bit scared, which is more than I can say for myself. I got queasy just watching the clip. There’s no way you’d see me doing this.
Zac Efron may have graduated from high school, but he’s clearly still a wildcat.
You probably heard last week that the 21-year-old matinee idol decided to go bungee jumping over in Canada, where he’s shooting his latest flick, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
Well, now there’s actual footage of Zefron’s thrill-seeking moment. So check out his jump after the, er, jump…

Efron’s last movie tanked at the box office, but this one looks like it may be more of an action/adventure type of film. According to IMDB.com, the film is about a young man who takes a job as the caretaker of a cemetery where his brother is buried. Hmm. Where does the bungee jumping come in? Anyway, he gets a tip of the cap from me, because I would definitely be peeing in my pants in this situation.
hmmmmm…sounds morbid. might actually break him out of his shell-now if he’d only break up with his skeezy Disney-princess.
The way I understood it the bungee jumping was just something fun he did while in town… I don’t think it’s actually for the movie.
Since when is $130M box office worldwide considered a bomb (on a $20M budget)?
The WB and everyone who understands something about movies considers that anything but.
And yeah, he did the jump for fun while in Vancouver for shooting the movie.
Zac could cover himself in barbecue sauce, slap his wedding tackle into a lion’s mouth and kick it in the stomach and still look like a sissy.
I love bungee jumping… Although my mother fed me tales about breaking elastic cords and people dying when I was a little girl, I couldn’t resist.
The hardest part is just before you go make the jump. There’s this adrenaline rush. It’s the perfect mix of fear and excitement.
You should try, MSat! Really.
