Us Weekly has a story in their current issue about how Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston both think it’s downright hysterical that they keep baiting their Bradifer 4 Eva stans into a frenzy and then the fans actually want to see them get back together. Still ship? Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt think it’s funny that fans are still rooting for them to reunite, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.
“There’s nothing romantic going on between Brad and Jen and they actually think it’s hysterical that fans are so obsessed with them getting back together,” the source explains. Pitt, 56, and Aniston, 51, were married from 2000 to 2005. The former couple nearly broke the internet last month when they were spotted backstage at the 2020 SAG Awards. In addition to the pair congratulating each other for their respective wins, Pitt was spotted watching Aniston’s acceptance speech for her role in The Morning Show.
“He was very into it. He wanted to hear what she had to say,” an insider told Us at the time. “He looked proud. When he walked away after her speech ended, it appeared he wiped his eye.”
Despite the hoopla, the first insider tells Us that Aniston isn’t worried about her romantic life at the moment.
“Jen is having the time of her life right now,” the source says. “She’s satisfied with her work and personal life.”
Next the source will say that Jennifer is totally fine, and incredibly happy, but she still dreams of the sound of children playing by the ocean, and during those moments, she stares longingly at an old photo of Brad. A Getty photographer said Brad is the one who set those photos up. They were minding their business backstage when brad walked by them and about a second later they heard brad scream “Aniston! Aniston!” And they got those photos.😂😂
His Oscar campaign was pathetic. The only people I’ve seen wanting that reunion are literally old people. 😂😂😂
While I think this story it’s exhausting, I have to admit Pr and having people talking about you it’s part of their jobs, so if he did that it was good for the business.

His movies flop. Once upon a time in Hollywood was his best received box office movie in years thanks to Tarantino and Leo but still did not break even. It’s in the red for Sony but you won’t get articles about that. People think he’s done using Aniston but yeah right. We’ll see him using her when he has another movie to promote or the make it right foundation is a bigger story. He needs her fanbase but they would sooner buy the tabloids then go watch his movies. 😂😂😂

according to Box Office Mojo, it cost 90 million to make but has grossed over 340 million worldwide. IMDB says over 370 million. sounds like it’s in the black to me.
What what? Deadline said it needed 400+ to break even. I trust them.
It’s likely because Sony gave them huge deals.
If a movie costs $90-$100 then after marketing and production, it’s likely costs around $200 to produce it (basic rule of figuring out the final cost by doubling the initial cost). Then it needs to make twice that- $400 to break even. That’s to pay for the distribution costs to all theaters locally and overseas. Deadline is right in their projection.
Yeah I read somewhere that Sony gave the three of them huge deals to get this movie started, probably back deals. Now, they are in the red and after all that much money being thrown into the campaign for Pitt to win the award, it’s being called a critically sucess movie! And no, you won’t see articles written about it being a commercial flop since Sony and Pitt’s pr team made sure it’s never seen the light.
I’m sort of old and I think they’re both ridiculous.
My take on this: more CAA propaganda. I see these two actors “Performing” the love that all their fellow actors, family, friends, fans and the free world have for them.
Nah, it was part of Brad Pitt’s Oscar campaign so yeah CAA did help but it was for dear old naive brad Pitt aka deadbeat daddy.
The best thing Aniston ever did for her career is join Instagram with that Friends photo. It literally impressed so many that she waa able to amass 7 or 11 million in a manner of days, it turned her from stuck in the 90s boring ol Jen (John Mayers fav thing to infer) to having a red hot, albeit tv and streaming career. Seriously, Instagram is to Aniston today, what ‘Brangelina,’ was to Aniston back in the day- a way to elongate and goose a career of someone painfully mediocre (just my OP no offense).
It’s just less legwork for her agent bestie Stephen Huvane, which he’s gotta love. Had to be brutal coordinating her love life fo coincide with Pitt’s life, the 1001 ‘Brad who?’ covers, the debuting of date mates every May which coincided with the Cannes film festival Brangelina would attend. Ah, memories. We won’t even get into the way the tabloids and Huvane’s bought & paid for Aniston bestie (Handler) savaged Angelina on Aniston’s behalf for years.
Now all it takes is a pic on Instagram, and his work is largely done. H’WOOD being the parasitic town it is, suddenly looks at Aniston with new eyes, as someone put it, as a ‘superconnector,’ which she was before, but it was old school social dinner parties for a certain set no one really cared about, now it’s Kardashian style commerce potential, it’s an immediate way to garner interest and easily turn focus on yourself..no more magazine covers that are slow as snails or pretend boyfriends who dump you on TMZ.
Oh, and if this piece is trying to convince us that Aniston nor Brad Pitt had no idea Angelina took kicks to the teeth and was the one branded an evil homewrecker, so they’re so surprised that Aniston’s rabid minivan ladies who lunch are so STILL into, dreaming of some kind of fantasy take down/comeuppance for AJ 15yrs later- well that’s a load of BS.

I’ve often wondered if at any of these shindigs of Aniston’s, Brad Pitt had run across the woman (Handler) who despite having never met AJ, for 5yrs called the mother of his kids an ‘evil C U next Tuesday’ on a world stage to anyone who would listen.

This is the same guy who yuk’d it up and made a couple movies with Weinstein & Tarantino when he knew Weinstein reportedly tried to rape his girlfriend (Goop) , and Tarantino almost killed Uma Thurman (and ignored her abuse by Weinstein) and who ultimately ended up being the reason they (Pitt & Goop) split. What’s more Pitt blamed Goop, he hated her for years. Aa much as Aniston hated him.
In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Angelina started looking at him with new eyes at that time (when Pitt did Basterds with Weinstein and tarantino, etc)
As people often forget, not only did Weinstein go after Goop, Angelina says he did it with her too. Angelina was part of that early group of big names that said Weinstein was a predator.

Well, she did have to put in the work to make TMS a reality. Some horrendous movies on her IMDb but she’s proven herself as a long-term player. And she didn’t just break IG and garner nearly 30 million followers in a matter of months just by joining IG; that goodwill existed beforehand. She’s a savvy player, underrated actor, but not really a movie star in the old sense of the world – none of her movies have been hits except the rom com ones – but there’s nothing wrong with being a TV success.
It was smart of her to work with Reese Witherspoon. Who is actually intelligent and a credible actor and was also a producer of the show. Friends has become popular again due to a new younger audience and she is lucky with all the new interest. She posted a Friends reunion photo which was incredibly popular.
Kay, but isn’t it strange she’s the most-followed one out of the 6 friends on IG. She has more followers than RW. Why is it so hard to admit she’s popular on her own merits? She’s the top billed over RW in everything from IMDb to trailers and promos. It was smart of RW to work with Aniston.

Shipper fandoms are often over enthusiastic about their couples so throwing them a bone is the best way to draw attention to whatever you’re promoting. I’m sure Brad and Jen know this, they ain’t naive.

Everyone knows it was a staged set up by their managrment so why do people still beleive them. How naive are people? . It’s not 1994 . Both are in their 50’s , how many more years are they going to drag this dead horse of a relationship and having kids for?
I think they both kind of leveraged the old relationship / connection for PR purposes (her, for TMS; he, for the Oscar) but the actual incident doesn’t look like a set-up. Too spontaneous and he was the one who initiated by calling out her name. She had and has far goodwill than he has at this stage but the Brad angle keeps her name in the rags too.
No real actors/actresses want to be tabloid stars.

I have a terrible feeling you may be right about the in their sixties thing. It’s such a classic love triangle, never mind the actual distance from reality. They are a pop culture wave so they might as well as get used to it.
Whatever you say about these two – who seem somewhat decent in the grand scheme of the dirty, faux world they live in – they were a super, super cute couple back in the day.
I never thought they were cute. I thought them mismatched try-hards, except for the shared highlights and dermatologist and bad skin. People were obsessed with Brangelina because they were ‘equals,’ both stunningly beautiful and movie stars. With Aniston, pitt got the good will that comes when you’re a gorgeous guy who dates a plain woman. The minivans really loved him for that.
Yeah the minivans lived through Aniston so they really wanted to revisit that altered reality as many times as they could. Pitt and Aniston knew it and kept baiting them whenev wanted to bring attention back to themselves especially now that Jolie refused to play the triangle.
Her millennial fans are hardly from the minivan. She was seen as absolutely gorgeous back in the day so what’s the plain girl gets the hot guy thing; it’s not accurate. I remember the peak of Friends and all the guys loved her and Courtney Cox as hotties. The Angelina vs Jennifer thing is more femme fatale vs wholesome beautiful woman rather than beautiful vs plain.
I don’t know of any man who thought that Jennifer Anniston or Courtney Cox(?) were hotties. Lisa Kudrow was considered the most attractive and interesting woman in the cast. Jennifer Anniston was a haircut who was married to Brad Pitt.
Kerwood, then I don’t believe you really paid attention during the ’90s. Phoebe was never the “hot” one out of the three girls; are you kidding? I came of age in the late ’90s and started reading gossip magazine – when they were still print only – right around that time. Rachel and Monica were the hot ones out of that show and not Phoebe. And I’d say more guys thought Rachel was hot than the number of guys who thought Monica was. I wasn’t a big Friends fan during college but it was pretty evenly split between Rachel and Monica with Rachel in a slight “lead” as far as the guys in college I knew.
I think people have moved on, but the PR at CAA agency have not and quite frankly it is getting tedious and fake. They were never suited in the first place their agency set them up. I think he was pressurised into marriage from family and other people. He said he wasted a few years doing nothing and sitting at home. He also said in an interview his marriage wasn’t forever and they made a pact about that and he never liked the fact she would talk about him and not herself all the time. He should have left earlier, but didn’t have the guts to end it. JA was already successful with Friends and she wanted to make more movies.
Also nobody seems to be asking about Justin Theroux like he doesn’t exist – they were never legally married and no official divorce. Thats what I dislike about her – never tells the truth too much fake news about her.
So what they were married in spirit maybe. If I were her with her 300, 400 million fortune, that’s the way I’d do it. Why bother with the legal stuff. Look at Brange and their messy divorce.
It does matter if you lie to the public that you are married and you are not. Marriage is legally binding. Why go round and call it a marriage then. They could have stayed as they are. She could have had a prenup to protect all her money.
That’s what I find very strange why hasn’t a person questioned been asjed by tge media about her “fake marriage to Justin Theroux”, why isnt anyone calling her out on faking it? Why is the thirst to be acisdiated with Pitt again? He is not some great catch either after alienating his own kids with his addictions . But like Jens fake marriage to Theroux it’s being ignored by media.
