It looks like the rumors that Guy Ritchie and Madonna were maybe secretly reconciling while Madonna, 50, continued her sham relationship with 22 year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz were incorrect. Guy has his own younger lover, but in his case the age difference is much more appropriate at only 14 (as opposed to 28) years. Guy, 40, has been seeing 26 year-old Haitian actress Mellany Gandara for about three months. They were first photographed out together in late May, and now that Guy has brought Mellany ’round to his pub to meet his buddies, I think we can assume that things are getting serious:

The Material Girl’s former hubby has been spotted three times in the last few months with a new lady love, Mellany Gandara, who is 14 years his junior.

According to the Daily Mail, 26-year-old Gandarra [sic] appeared in a walk-on role in the film “Iron Man,” alongside Ritchie’s pal Robert Downey Jr.

It was Downey Jr. who introduced the 40-year-old director and the Haitian beauty.

The actress spent last week with Ritchie in London.

During her stay, they stopped by his pub, The Punch Bowl, to throw a few back with some of Ritchie’s friends.

One source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror, “She looked very at ease in his company.”

That night the happy couple returned to Ritchie’s place, where Gandarra stayed until the next morning.

Add that to their lovey-dovey walk on a Malibu beach and their romantic dinner date in June, and Ritchie’s ex, Madonna, might have reason to be jealous.
That is, if she hadn’t already moved on with 22-year-old Jesus Luz.

On Monday, Gandarra was spotted at a casting call in Los Angeles, but if all goes well with her director beau, there may be more than just walk-on parts in store for her.

The Daily News has it right when they mention that this woman is about to raise her profile thanks to Ritchie, and is likely to get some roles in his films. It makes me cynical whenever I hear that an actress hooks up with a director, but I guess it’s inevitable since directors are exposed to so many beautiful women in that industry. Kate Winslet and Rachel Weisz are both married to directors and each had well established careers before meeting them, so it’s not like these type of relationships are necessarily unequal.

Speaking of unequal relationships, I bet Madge is seething now that Guy has so clearly moved on. His new hookup can probably even talk to him about current events and hobbies without requiring expensive lessons or religious coaching to develop common interests.
